Nice hotel still having work done. Wifi was poor but we didn't use it really.

The hotel itself is great for a few days, tge problem is the spa area, there is a corrupt man working there selling cheap tickets to go in the spa. The first night i was there i was offered a half price ticket for cash only.
The man works in the spa and lets all his friends in. He is white and uses the facilities when he is supposed to be working. Monday 04th Nov approx 6pm he was working there, the hotel need to fix this man.

Enjoyable stay, but the room was a bit small felt hot with no air con, the private parking was a plus at 25 Euros per day, the location was good. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, good breakfast. Louis

No air condition, old facility, but there is spa in hotel

Great stay. The attached Therme was an additional perk that allowed some relaxation after a work day. Staff were great too.

My room was at about 200 meters from the main building, no air conditioning, 32 Celsius.

Great place, nice breakfast

Nice and modern rooms, walking distance to most activities in Köln. Price was good but the spa is not for everyone, dress kode nothing.

Full spa that you should take advantage of

The Spa and Swimmingpools are really worth the 10€ extra!
Very Nice and wide rooms.
Top location, within 5 min walk of all the shopping streets. Tramstop just 1 minute walk.
The little Square in front of the reception with the old church ist just lovely. Village feeling!

Travelled to Cologne for an England Euro 24 game. The hotel was fine for a short stay close to several decent bars shops & restaurants & 10 minutes drive from the main rail station.
4.0
Nice room but quite a walk away from the main hotel and pool. The breakfast was poor compared to how it used to be. Quite a shame.

Great spa experience!

Property was great, although our access cards stopped working a few times and had to be reprogrammed by the desk staff. Room was wonderful. Spa was nice, but if your coming from outside of europe, do your research on european spas, it can be a culture shock.

Our second time here - it’s an old school great German spa hotel, with the exceptional sauna complex (which includes rituals every hour from 13.00). It’s dated at parts but that’s compensated with the very fair value.
The breakfast was plenty, the service kind and welcoming and the room large and clean. We will come back.

Attention from staff is very kind, the cleaning service not very good, the pool area was kind of weird, some people naked and not clear rules (at least for foreigner visitors), breakfast buffet good!

It’s decent hotel in a good location.

Excellent service, breakfast had a good selection. Thank you.

They advertise the pool heavily but you have to pay extra to use this

Had a good stay at Mauritius. Enjoyed the breakfast selection. The layout of the hotel is quite strange so takes some getting used to. Quite a basic room and covers not that comfortable. Good facilities such as the gym and spa. It is recommended to go nude in sauna and in pools so slight culture shock if not not used to it. I think for the price it’s pretty good value

You need to walk in the rain to go to your room. At least 600 feet. Parking directions are lousy and manager was rude when ask for proper directions to the parking. To reach restaurant you need to go outside walk another 600 feet same for lobby, no fun when it rains. Would not recommend this hotel.

They claim to have “Parking”- but only 10 spaces.
So if u are the 11th guest- u have to use public parking.
There was no wash towel, no complementary shampoo, conditioner, water, coffee or tea.
They have a spa- but must get in using their bath robe which they charge for bath robe.
For the price they charge, they should be a bit more generous.

The spa was amazing best ive ever had at a hotel, room had no AC was really hot at night

We stayed 2 nights as part of a tour of Germany. The hotel is well located and the therme spa was excellent. The breakfast has a good choice and the staff we very helpful, We had rooms that had to be access from the back of the hotel which wasn’t very convenient. The room was good size and comfortable. The major downside was not air con, this meant we had to have the windows open and it was extremely noisy. An English group had parked their car outside and played their music at full volume and took drugs until the early morning - luckily they only stayed one night but it meant we didn’t get any sleep. We would have cancelled the following nights stay if we could.

didnt realize they did not have air conditioning, my mistake. Ill never make that mistake again !! Therme was excellent

Homeless people were camped outside my room smoking and vomiting into the late evening. Staff did nothing. Hotel is rated a 4 star yet doesn't have AC, when the temperature was in the 90s in the day and 80s at night. Truly unbearable.
6.0
The hotel is random and the staff were unfriendly. Good if you want to stay near shops restaurants and live the city center.

Clean hotel and good rooms. Wide selection on breakfast and good service.
Rooms don’t have air conditioning so during the heat wave it was impossible to sleep in the room.

The spa was excellent, however the biggest surprise was the proximity to the church and the bells ringing. It is to be expected on a Sunday, but surprised at the 7.30 awakening on Monday.
The room was comfortable but too warm as there was no temperature control other than being able to open the window, which directly relates to previous point.
The final surprise was that my room never got serviced during the 3 days I was there. Again a little surprising, as the least I would have expected was fresh towels each day. Maybe it was part of there environmental programme, but considering the amount of laundry they must go through as a spa resort, fresh towels for guests, shouldn't effect their footprint dramatically.

Really expensive for what they offer, I payed 170 euros per night and my room was small and old, I could hear every time someone smashed the door of their rooms, you also have to pay extra to use the sauna and the pool which are the only nice things about the hotel, also have to rent a robe aside, i had to walk all around the street to get to my room and not through the main door. So many bad things about this place.
3.0
Not really friendly check in.
Fitness room between restaurant and lobby. Without a door. A bit strange!

Very unimpressed with all aspects of my stay from start to finish.
Started with rude staff at check in who didnt recognize my status or provide any information about the hotel and this service continued for the whole stay
Requested new towels and bed linen as per hotel procedure since they dont do daily house keeping and none were provided.

Overall very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend it. I wished I went for my alternative option.
The hotel had a strange atmosphere and the customer service at check in was severely lacking. My room key did not work but no apology given despite it being inconvenient coming back down from the 5th floor and back up again. I didn’t feel like enough information was given about the hotel itself and the use of the spa. I was told by guests in the spa that you have to go into the sauna naked but this wasn’t explained at reception and quite an important thing to mention! I found it bizarre that I had to keep asking questions and information wasn’t volunteered.
I had a massage booked at the hotel and as a massage therapist myself, I found it again very disappointing. There was no consultation to ask about medical conditions (standard protocol), the massage room was cold and the massage itself was really bad.
The hotel room was basic and just ok. The bathroom was clean. The bedroom carpet needs a deep clean, there were hairs, dust and a bottle under the bed from previous person so obviously hadn’t hoovered underneath. The room was cold and unfortunately the radiator didn’t work. I called down to reception but they were unhelpful. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillow was flat and the duvet did not fit the bed, it was oddly too small. Check out was at 12 but the cleaner started hoovering at 10am on my floor which doesn’t allow for a restful morning or a lie-in.

Excellent spa services although not everyone followed the naked steam room, sauna policy.
Hotel needs Air Con although a fan was provided but had to close windows due to street noise and tram noise but nothing could drown out the church bell. I was in room 209 which was at the front opposite the church.
Well situated near Neumarkt for shops and local nightlife.
Staff were very helpful.
Stayed for 3 nights and would stay again, maybe in cooler months to negate lack of aircon.
Restaurant and Bar are in same room, right by Spa entrance. It seemed a bit strange seeing people having a beer/drink at the bar in a bath robe whilst people were eating feet away in the Restaurant. In fact, you could have a meal in your bath robe in the restaurant. This is just probably a picky English point although I know my wife would have been a bit put off if she had been travelling with me.

Great rooms. Excellent Spa.

This hotel has no AC. I paid $500 for a room with a plug in fan. It was 33 degrees this day. And the lobby and room felt like a sauna. I walked in the room and walked right out after seeing no AC and a tiny fan on the floor. Instead of the hotel refunding me the room. They kept my $500 saying they couldn’t refund me since I already walked in the room. In my 30 years of travel I have never seen a room without AC at the cost of $500. Maybe for $20 a fan is ok. But at this price it’s completely unacceptable. And the fact that they didn’t give me any money back amounts to criminal theft and fraud at the very least. Shame on you!!!!!! You don’t treat people like this.

The room was basic but nice. There was no AC buy I think that's common in Europe. There was a glass ring on the night stand from a previous guest so they could have cleaned better. The spa? Very relaxing and comfortable, and you can go naked! What fun. Overall well worth the price for the great deal I got.

It was nice to have the sauna, spa and massage services availble. We participated in the massage and it was enjoyable. The downfall of this property is that there is no air conditioner and the ventilation in the rooms were not good. There are no screens on the windows so if you open them, it lets a lot of bugs in. We were so hot in our room even though it was 17C 63F degrees outside.
