We stayed for 1 night on our way to Normandy. Room was well presented, clean and the bed… we had the best nights sleep in ages. Staff didn’t speak much English but knew enough to understand us and were friendly. There are a couple of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. Only negative and this is small… we had to request a plug for the bath, but they were happy to provide this. Would happily stay again

Great location for going into the shopping area. McD's close by, safe and clean, receptionist didn't know much English which was unusual these days but I would go back

Just stayed one night when travelling. Comfortable beds, good shower and ability to make hot drinks, heat up food and fridge in room. Exactly what we needed

Access difficult due to road works. Advised by receptionist to park on outside road from 8am to 5pm . Building dilapidated with rotting timber balcony rails and upper rooms boarded off. Air conditioning and bathroom heating not working. No evening meal available, so had to find nearby restaurant Breakfast reasonably good.

The worst !! I reserved the hotel by 7:40pm, I am traveling and on vacation, I got to the property at 10:20pm and no one was there, and they don’t have late check in, I checked my email and it says someone is at the desk until 10:30pm, not true. I called the phone number provided and no one answered . Now I have to waste my time and fight for my money back.
If a reservation is made “after hours” don’t post the hotel as available . I slept some place else

The staff were very good and there was no faulting the cleanliness. However, the motel (I'd describe it as a motel rather than a hotel) seems to be stuck in the 1970's and probably too expensive for what is on offer.
Only two power points in the room, one of which taken up by the TV (no satellite, only French terrestrial). Bit difficult to charge laptop, phones and watches.
Would we stop there again? Maybe, if nothing else was available.
Situated about a 30 minute walk from Honfleur town centre.

Straight forward basic accommodation, clean tidy everything worked as it should, no frills bed and linen crisp clean and in room tea coffee facility, quiet location yet just off the main road.
Food within walking distance as well as the on site restaurant, we did one dinner which was OK but not a wow meal service good though. Overall OK for the price.

This is a typical Campanile Hotel, bathroom could do with an upgrade but the room was generally clean. We had breakfast which was plentiful. This hotel is a 30 minute walk from the centre of Honfleur, perfect for working up an appetite and then a leisurely stroll back after dinner.
My only concern was they use paper and plastic cups for breakfast and in the rooms (and these cups are individually wrapped in plastic too) - hopefully Campanile will be addressing there plastic policy for the future.
However for two people for a two night stay in the beautiful town of Honfleur this is the perfect place to stay.

This is probably our fifth or sixth visit to this hotel in the last 10 years. Each time, the service has been good. Parking is convenient and spacious. The rooms are quiet and clean. Many cable channels available. Pets are welcome and the fee is reasonable. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh. The city of Honfleur is within a short driving distance and always a joy to visit.

Good value for a night. The rooms are a bit dated and don't offer a whole lot but it's close to Honfleur and the restaurant is pretty good. A decent place for the cost.

Good location if you are ok with a 20 minute walk into Honfleur. Rooms very dated, bit of a shock when you arrive. Too expensive for the condition of the hotel.

I liked that the room was fairly clean, and was up to the usual standard of Campanile

Nothing fancy here at the Campanile. But only a few minutes of a drive from town. (Plenty of free parking just at the edge of the main tourist area) It was an extremely busy night at the hotel when we were there, but the rooms were extremely quiet. The Campanile surpassed all expectations we had for a budget motel.

Great for overnight stop while travelling. Basic but clean and accessible.Good location to visit Honfleur.

OK stopover, outside access not so good after downpour, usual traffic noise, good bed, reception keen to presume meals required

We stayed here overnight on our journey to Brittany. It was spotlessly clean and seemed to have been recently modernised. Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here before. The hotel is well suited as a base for both exploring the Honfleur/Deauville coast and also for trips to Lisieux and Caen. The hotel is positioned in wooded garden and is well maintained. The rooms are kept very clean.

Very goog for a stop en route to/from ferry port. Meals quite good quality but expensive. Rooms are adequate.

Stayed at campaniles a lot but this one is looking its age. Bed linen etc clean but room looking very dated and tatty with lots of dirty areas. staff ok but brusk. good location for access to Lahavre port. food basic

Arrived in the area and the hotels was hard to find. However, the price was reasonable and made up for the fact the hotel was not in Honfleur. The manager was great and made us feel at welcome. Honfleur was great and we enjoyed the area.

Stayed one night as part or week of sightseeing. Very easy to get to from main highway. About 15 minute walk to historic and very scenic downtown. Restaurant food was fine but not spectacular - not really any other restaurant choices at hotel, but plenty of great choices downtown. Good value for price of hotel. Friendly, helpful, English speaking staff.

Found the room rather tired and in need of a refurb. Had a meal in the Hotel Resturant on the 1st evening and had to wait over an hour for our meal to arrive. Far too long for a one course meal. We had 2 rooms and the second one had no aircon working, and as it was a very hot weekend this was uncomfortable. The problem was reported on more than one occaision but to no avail. No English channels on the TV.

After a long motorbike ride from the UK, the hotel room was a welcome sight and quite comfortable enough for us.
Arriving on a Sunday night, there are few options locally for meals other than the hotel restaurant which is quite expensive or MacDonalds which is 2 mins away and the only place to get a beer as the hotel will not just serve drinks!
The breafast is ok, just a typical continental all you want to eat for a quite expensive 10Euros incl "city tax" whatever that is. MacDonalds only serve breakfast on Sat/Sun and school holidays which we thought a bit odd coming from th UK. Evening meals can be taken at the hotel in quite a stylish restuarant, although again due to the cost we never ate there. I would recommend the La Petit Aubrge which is located across the main road on Rue de l'Heroult. Although frequented by a few lorry drivers, the owners are great and we had a 4 course very filling meal for just 11Euros including half a bottle of wine!
Although addressed as Honfleur, the hotel is actually just outside the town and takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk to. There are a couple of small supermakets near the hotel which close at 8 in the evening.
Overall, I would rate this hotel as a comfortable base from which to explore the north coast of France but is limited for things to do in the evening if you don't want to use the hotel restaurant but want to go out without having to drive.

Friendly staff, well kept rooms, nice ensuite. Overall, excellent accommodation, and even more so given the budget price.
3.0
Very busy hotel with all basic amenities ideal for a few days stay - ample car parking but breakfast times rather restricted and few rooms have extensive views - would use again at the right price.
