Un charme fou, cadre verdoyant et tranquille

Établissement superbement décoré avec des touches vintages de style colonial. On a adoré l’emplacement au calme, en pleine nature avec la vue sur rizières. Si vous souhaitez souffler et profiter un peu de la nature, pas loin de la ville, c’est un endroit idéal. Notre coup de cœur du séjour.

Nous avons préféré les Bungalows au fond du jardin, plus chers mais plus charmants et intimes. Les chambres au dessus du bâtiment principal sentaient un peu l’humidité.

I would come back

the location is good, the stuff is super super helpful me nice. also they make it very easy, I wanted a massage in the hotel and they brought the best one to the room! the pool area is nice and relaxing

A perfect week in Paradise !

A very beautiful property overlooking rice fields . Decorated with stunning Indonesian antiques and vintage pieces . The pool was perfect and the tropical garden was simple but lovely . The local staff were friendly and helpful particularly Putu , Made , Gede and Ketut . And best of all mostly very quiet despite being about 10 mins by motorbike from great cafes .

If I’m being picky the bed was very hard and the outside ( but private ) shower was a bit challenging . Actually minor details

The day I left the villa, before my checking out time one of the staff who were supposed to help with my luggage were sort of standing by and waiting outside of the room gave me pressure to leave. It wasn’t a nice feeling to end the trip.

Best design and antique villa in Canggu

I understand that my review may influence the Artis Villa’s availability, as it may be fully booked :) I genuinely love and admire this place. It looks like the house from my dreams: interior design with all the small details and antique art pieces was fascinating. The design is also beautiful but ergonomic: when you are in the place, you feel it was projected for the best living experience. And honestly, I would hire this interior designer for my project; this is how I like it! The area is quiet and close to the shops and restaurants. Also, when you are next to the router, WiFi is 6-20 Mbs, which is good (based on my expertise). So, it was the perfect experience living and working from Artis Villa's home. Nice bonus: a coffee shop with excellent matcha next to the villa!

Hidden gem

One of a few places in Bali where you can have a view on the rice field which together with a beautiful pool make it the great place to chill. It is located a bit further away from the road so you don’t here the noise from traffic. Individual villa-houses look nice and cozy. They’re wooden and seem old in a good way with a touch of authenticity and local culture. There were no other guests at the villa during our stay - and that was cool. The staff was really nice and helpful. Location is perfect if you like to travel a lot and use bikes.

There was a mistake in address (house number) reflected on booking.com. It took a while to find the place. They charge extra for eggs (if you want them) for breakfast that is included in price. It’s very weird since the price of eggs is nothing. Better to include them right away in villa price. Construction works at the neighborhood from early morning (like in many places now in Bali)

Should be discover by every person visiting Umalas and Canggu area

This property should be discover by every person visiting Umalas and Canggu area. It s definitly worth it if you are looking to disconnected from the busy Canggu but remain in the area between Seminyak and Canggu. Regarding the food, every dish is absolutely amazing and always served with a big Smile. Putu is the best host I have ever cross in all my travels.
