Beautiful property. Very friendly and accommodating. So quiet and comfortable. The seasons restaurant was delicious. One of the best we have been to. We went both nights. A little pricey but worth it. Service and food was the best. I had pork chop, next night salmon. The pool was very nice too. Felt great on a hot afternoon. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lakeside Inn nestled in the mountains! Excellent restaurant on property. Very friendly staff. We’ll be back!

Our stay was very pleasant, second time there. The Season’s Restaurant is always good and the staff are exceptional.

Had a great stay!

Beautiful older facility but very well maintained. Lovely private room.

A welcomed unique experience compared to having reserved the night in a chain hotel! Huge suite; lovely setting; relaxed; full breakfast included. Also enjoyed a fine show at nearby Flat Rock Playhouse

Wonderful place for rest and relaxation. Went for our wedding anniversary and loved every minute. We stayed in the Woodard House room 7 Exceptionally clean. So cozy, just like home. From the kitchen, to the living room area, to our room, every single detail was outstanding. (Only thing to mention, when heat kicked on in our room it was kind of noisy and woke us up during night) The breakfast at Season's was amazing. Cooked fresh and staff was so nice. The grounds well kept and clean. Enjoyed canoeing on the lake amd the swings. Walked the trails and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The goats and sheep were a nice cute added bonus. Exceptional place to stay. We've already discussed maybe staying next years anniversary as well. I highly recommend.

Stayed in the Woodward House, the room was charming and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Went in the off season so many amenities were not available. The grounds were well kept. We were able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and had a great experience staying there.

We had a wonderful stay. Swinging on the swing makes us feel like a kid again. Highly recommended.

This was a calming and peaceful stay, everyone was so gracious. The room was country charming and very clean. The grounds are beautiful, and restaurants and store is close by. The restaurant on site was fantastic, the buffet for New Year’s Eve was wonderful and so is the complimentary buffet breakfast. We will definitely be back

Our stayed in the Inn was very good, we love our cottage…the game room needs a little TLC but other than that we had an amazing time!

It was in a beautiful setting. The breakfast hot brunch was good and plentiful. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to Brevard, Hendersonville, and Lake Lure. Flat Rock had a very good restaurant (huba huba ) with great brisket. There was also a bakery that had good food and two cute shops all in a town square. We liked the jump off rock park for a great view, the St Johns in the wilderness historical church and cemetary and Carl Sandburg house. Al in all a great stay.

Very nice, quiet and peaceful.

It’s a nice place much older than I expected but the staff was excellent. Did not like the idea of climbing stairs. There needs to be lights installed along the walkways. Walking to dinner at night there is very dangerous. The breakfast was excellent and so was the meal we had for dinner. Our room was fine and very clean but landscaping needs a lot of work.

Great place to stay. Nice staff and a wonderful restaurant.

Though the stairs were a bit difficult for me, being older it was worth the climb to sleep in a lovely room with a comfortable bed that was very clean! Lots of things to do here including pool, pool table, ping pong etc. Beautiful setting for a nice walk and the breakfast was excellent and the dining room setting lovely!!

Highland Lake Inn was a very beautiful location. However, parking was somewhat of an issue late in the evening as well as our fridge did not cool down to temperature. Other than that, everyone was super friendly, Season Restaurant was amazing, and it was a very nice experience.

Nice, pleasant environment. Spacious common area both inside and outside. Quiet. Friendly staff.

This is a charming, historic lodge that has been updated. Our room was lovely and had direct access to a large shared balcony with tables ans chairs. The grounds are beautiful and great for walking! All the accommodations EXCEPT for the pool-front cabins have a fabulous buffet breakfast included in the price. All I would wish for wish for is an elevator...the stairs are steep and there are lots of them. We'll definitely come again...

I love that this place is like an old school lodge. Makes me think of the place from Dirty Dancing. Everything was very nice! However, we arrived during the week and was basically empty, and felt a little bit haunted!!!!

This was absolutely a fantastic place to stay - the only issue I had was the mattress was to hard, everything else was perfect.

Beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

Some might think the Inn a bit dated, but that is what I liked about it. It is not a spa with myriad creature comforts. The grounds are well kept and suited to those who prefer nature to cruise ship activities.

A beautiful retreat with gorgeous grounds, lake and a very good full breakfast.

This facility has a vintage, camp-like atmosphere. Nice, but not overly impressive. Breakfast was excellent!

We have been staying here regularly as our child is in school nearby. It feels like a little private club in the woods though still quick access to town and 25 min to Asheville.

Check-in took 30 minutes, they had accidentally given our room to someone else, & our new room was full of wasps, spiders, & stink bugs. Not the relaxing night we had hoped for.

Great place and have stayed here many times. Food and service at the restaurant is superb and room is great. Would recommend.

This was exactly what i was hoping for when i planned a mini vacation for my husband and myself. It was quiet, gorgeous, and relaxing. The staff always smiled. I would skip the brunch; sticking to their amazing breakfast, which is included. While the brunch is nice, it's expensive. The restaurant is very good for dinner.
We plan to stay again.

Lovely older property. Very peaceful and well kept. You can tell some of the buildings are older but that is part of the charm.
