So I had to sleep on the floor because the room we booked had a couch and a bed but the tv did not work so they switched our rooms the new room was much smaller didn’t smell the best and did not have a couch which was a hugggeeee letdown the staff was really cool but it really sucked that we couldn’t use the original room

This is a hidden gem of a place! Even without a lobby available 24 hours, the text message communications for arrival, assistance and departure were prompt, professional and thorough. The rooms have been updated with new age functionality, while still maintaining its mountain cottage charm- wonderfully well done! Beautiful landscaping and rustic cabin design, coupled with Roku tvs and keurigs in the rooms- we thought it was the absolute perfect combination of tradition and technology. In addition, there were even thoughtful touches like makeup towels, ornamentally folded linens and a binder with loads more information to explore. Oh, and everything was SO clean, and the area feels safe. Parking right outside the door made getting in and out WAY more easy than a multi-level hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

The location was fantastic. Loved the repurposing of the old property. Great attention to detail. Very clean.

Room recently remodeled and it showed: chair-ht toilets, new vinyl plank flooring, good lighting, quality towels, comfortable bed, ample amenities (shampoo, soap, lotion).

I would rate every thing five stars but the mattress was horribly uncomfortable.

Nice quaint room with with a pretty outdoor relaxing area, convenient location...only spent a quick night there to break up our return travel home.Extra clean and very cute decor.

Easy check in and checkout, quiet, great place!

The room was very clean, but very small. The structure is quite old and looks it. It is marketed as a nostalgic “back to the 50’s” experience but It just didn’t work for us. But the single biggest negative was the loudness of the AC. It worked fine but was so loud we couldn’t hear the TV over it. Overall, for these reasons, we didn’t feel this was a good value relative to the cost.

Loved the small table and chairs on the front porch to enjoy fresh air. Clean LVP floor was a delight to see. Very comfortable bed..even an extra folded blanket on each bed. Window AC worked fine. Small bathroom but that didn’t bother us since there was plenty of room close by for our things. Plenty of “easy to get to” outlets! Supper at Bilions and breakfast at Fireside Restaurant were great finds!

This is an older "motel" type place. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Rooms are small with very small bathroom. It was adequate for one night.
3.0
Old time property with separate cabins; wooden floors, small but functional bathroom. No breakfast.

Quiet, quaint, and comfortable.

We loved our stay there. If I could say one thing was we could of used more light and the dryer did not work

This hotel would maybe be worth half the cost they charge. The pictures and descriptions seem deceptive, this is just a 1950s old fashioned strip hotel with very thin walls and everything is tiny. The bathroom is so small, that to sit on the toilet you have to put your feet into the shower stall. The only thing to sit on has the super loud air conditioning unit right on top of it, blowing out cold air right on top of you. Thankfully, it wasn't busy or the noise from everyone would have miserable. The check in and check out procedure was great but everything else was way subpar, especially for the cost. We stayed here, paid more, because we thought it would be nicer than a regular hotel, it was not.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy to find and a quick drive to downtown Hendersonville. Simple contactless check in.

Our family of 3 (one 10-year old) loved the simplicity, comfy beds, and overall feel of the CedarWood. We could not have asked for more for our one-night stay.
4.0
Clean place but walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors talking

We had a nice, quick visit before dropping our girl off to camp. We all enjoyed the beautiful spacious room. We were there before the 4th of July holiday so a lot of restaurants were closed. We will have to come back when we have more time.

Charming stay just outside of the town of Hendersonville. We’d gladly stay again. Super clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

The beds and bedding were excellent. Parking was adjacent to room entrance. Close to downtown, but felt rural. Would stay here again.

The bed, bedding, pillows and towels were of high quality…better than 4 star/diamond properties I have been to. The room decor was rustic and appropriate for the location…I would book here again. My only wish is having quieter AC window units.

really cute little place to stay! extremely updated and nice on the inside :) has everything you’ll need !

This hotel is charming. It is definitely retro 1950's style. So expect pine wood walls and a small bathroom. But the owners pack everything into this space you will need. It may be one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. And the area was great for us as we wanted convenient access to Hendersonville and Mills River. It is definitely vintage, however. If that is not your thing, it may not be for you. But if you are looking for a charming motel that has a '50s vibe, this is for you. We will DEFINITELY be back.

I gave it 5 stars for the cleanliness and the cleaning staff were very helpful. We were traveling with a 5 year old. We reserved 2 rooms and had several requests for spills, towels and clean ups. Its not a Hilton, its small with easy access added charm to elevate the mountain feel. Minutes away from downtown.
2.5
Nice, quiet location off of downtown Hendersonville. Quick, online check-in & check-out. Clean room. Available fire pit, grills. Nice local spot.

A few minutes from downtown. Nothing fancy but clean quiet safe and the staff is great

The bed was too soft for my back conditions. Otherwise, everything was nice.

I love the nostalgia of the old motor lodge feel but without the years of grime. The room was quaint and clean! this is perfect!

Mike was amazing at problem solving and got us situated straight away! We really enjoyed our stay- it was very cozy in our little cabin room. Would definitely stay again!

The property is beautiful! It was raining so we didn’t get to sit at the gazebo or other outside areas. It was such a cute place! I loved the attention to detail and all the extras (make up wipes, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash bottles!) in the bathroom! The bed was uncomfortable for me, but that wouldn’t make me not visit again! I’d give it a 10/10!

The family house was amazing!

I look forward to staying here again! No contact check in and checkout made the stay very easy and convenient. The beds are really comfortable and the room had everything I needed. Flat Rock Wood Room is about a 2 minute walk and had delicious food eat in or carry out. Overall 10/10 experience.

This was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something unique, but did not want to sacrifice cleanliness. This made us feel like we were in a cottage or cabin and was clean, safe, quiet and the gazebo are was very nice and had a fire pit to enjoy at night.

We decided to try this place due to its exceptional rating & affordable price. It’s very quaint & reminded us of a motorlodge type place from when we were growing up. The rooms are well appointed & the room has a lovely picture window & porch seating area. Coffee & things to go with it provided. Really nice toiletries. The pillows were nice but the beds really firm (good for some, not for us though.) when we entered our room (#11), my friend, who is sensitive to mold, detected a musty smell. We found that the bathroom baseboard by the shower looked pretty moldy. Peeling paint & dark coloration - the bathroom doesn’t have a fan, & suspect after water splashing out of the shower too many times with no way to release the moisture could be the culprit. Also saw some caked & dirty (looked like dried urine) behind the toilet. Not everything is always perfect but for some this could be a deal breaker. If we were staying more than one night we would have had to leave. Also - this is both a pro & con - check in & check out is automatic- we never saw an employee during our stay. No one to welcome you, but you did have direct access to your room. Also for travelers - no ice machine on property, but our room did have a fridge & microwave, for which we were grateful. For the price we paid, we got a safe place to stay & so that will have to be enough.
