Beautiful boutique hotel. Small but has all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The breakfast is delicious; staff is professional and very polite. Hotel is within walking distance of the town square, shopping, restaurants and must-see attractions of what Oaxaca is known for.

We had a great time in Oaxaca. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are not that big but comfortable. The staff was always available to help us.
The restaurant food was really good and the staff super helpful!
I contacted the hotel couple of months before arriving to ask for tour and transport information. They were very helpful and gave me all the details and everything was ready for our arrival.

The hotel has a warm friendly feeling. The food was great but limited to just breakfast, no dinning. One negative aspect was the walking distance to the city center for those who are Seniors. No problem for young able people.

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and spotless with daily housekeeping. Great amenities. We booked some tours and a cooking class through the hotel and all were very good. It was a smaller hotel, family friendly and very quiet at night. Easy walking distance to the center of Oaxaca but removed enough from hubbub. The mattresses were a little soft for us. Enjoyed the breakfasts. Would highly recommend this place.

Just lovely. Attentive staff, spotlessly clean everywhere, great bed, and Patricia is the secret weapon!! She not only got me a needed hair appointment with her personal stylist; she walked me to the salon and told the hairdresser what I wanted (my Spanish is not good!). Hats of to Casa Divina. ❤️

I stayed 3 nights in Casa Divina. The location is great, near mercado and Zocalo. The staff is helpful and attentive. The place is clean and breakfast is proper. The price a bit hit for what you get but I recommend it and most likely will stay there again.

If you are looking to stay in a "Oaxaca" style hotel, away from the corporate shell of Holiday Inns, Marriotts, Hiltons, This is the place to stay. Super clean, GREAT staff and for once, the pictures are accurate and current. The Villa we stayed at was simply amazing, private parking, 2 large rooms and entertainment room, full kitchen, dinning area, and living room. Free breakfast, and not just a small continental, we are talking about a full breakfast, your choice of fruit to start, eggs, chilaquiles, enchiladas. and simply delicious. Paty and her crew are amazing with everything. Carmen our personal housekeeper for the Villa we fantastic and super friendly. If you are looking around for somewhere to stay and you are not sure, but you landed on this Hotel. STOP and book it!! You will not regret it. Everything is walkable, downtown, 5 star restaurants, Zocalo, mercado!

Casa Divina is a beautiful, spotlessly clean boutique hotel in a great location for walking to all of Oaxaca’s attractions. The staff is amazing. For a small fee we had a beautiful meal every morning ( continental is free but the cooked breakfasts were fantastic). The manager helped us find a driver for our party of 7 to take us wherever we wanted to go outside the city. We will stay here again.

Excellent little hotel in downtown Oaxaca! The property is just a few blocks away from the city's main square in a very walkable area on town. There is plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars around. The hotel is perfect for families and couples. Breakfast was included and it was really good. The staff was very helpful and kind; we would definitely go back!

The staff was amazing from beginning to end. Reception was always there and answering any questions we had plus making sure we didn't need anything else. The ladies at the breakfast restaurant were very nice to our daughter and made her simple toddler foods so she could eat as well.
The room was cleaned very well everyday. Everything worked as it should.
The only thing we did not love were the beds. They were a bit hard and you could feel the springs sometimes.
The hotel is just a few blocks from el Zocalo and there are a lot of restaurants nearby that were very good.

We will for sure visit Casa Divina in our next visit to Oaxaca. Excellent location close to Oaxaca city downtown (5-10 minutes walk), however very quiet (at least during our four days stay). Super clean, and furniture in good conditions in general. Close by convenient stores if you want to have some snacks and cold beverages at the room (small refrigerator). Garage options to park your car in case of need. Great breakfast with additional options for an extra fee. Hotel administration can arrange for you trips (private and shared ride) to archeological sites and local high value crafts (textile, ceramics, wood sculptures) located in town (0.5 to 1.0 hours drive). Tours are a little bit expensive, however the level of attention, provided safety and knowledge (history and crafts) of assigned drivers worth the price. Uber service, and the hotel can also call a taxi for you. Friendly and attentive staff. Only small issues: furniture can be improved, mostly having new beds or at least have new mattresses; Wifi signal sometimes weak upstairs, better reception at the first floor common area (tables and chairs available). If visiting archeological sites bring enough sunscreen and practice walking before, steps are always there. Hope you enjoy your next visit to Oaxaca and your new home at Casa Divina.

Excellent option for staying in Oaxaca. Close to all mayor attractions. Paty the manager was very helpful with all her insight on dining options and arranging visits to places around Oaxaca. Would choose it again if we come back.

The Villas were spacious and clean. The location was ideal for walking to shops and restaurants. Taxis were easy to find, if needed, however, the Casa Devina staff was always willing to make cab arrangements. The only negative is that the villas are a 15 min walk or 5-10 min cab ride from the main hotel. The free breakfast was not always convenient to get to for that reason. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, even called the airline to help straighten out an issue with checking in.

Staff was very helpful and incredibly nice. The property was well maintained and in really good shape. My only feedback is that the mattresses were too hard. I'm a side sleeper so this was tough for me.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room with good bathroom. Breakfast was too Mexican, not international.

They hotel was just perfect! The staff were phenomenal with all services. The gentleman Sergio was amazing w/ assisting with any needs right down to recommend new places to go. Dona Mercedes and all the lovely ladies working at the restaurant La Llorona were the most beautiful souls ever! They went above and beyond to having us feel welcomed and loved! Felt like I was at my abuelitas house having breakfast with them each morning to were we looked forward to going upstairs! The rooms were wonderful and walking distance from el centro to where you were not too close and hearing all the noise but not far too just walk out to get some food. We alway were able to get a massage from the outstanding masseuse that was able to pin point exactly what was hurting without us saying a word. The greatest trip so far and best service we have ever had. Would recommend and stay here again when I return. The amazing staff made this experience one that I want to and will be returning here!

It was very beautiful and clean. Staff very friendly. They were accommodating with breakfast preparing our food slightly earlier to make it to our tours.

We stayed in villa. I didn’t know Villa was the separate location front the hotel. So it was surprise. Villa was a lot more contemporary than the hotel’s traditions Spanish style building. it was spacey and have two bathrooms and living room.

Casa Divina is a delightful small hotel that offered a wonderful ¨home away from home ¨ . Hotel is really beautiful in every detail. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and spotless. Location is perfect: walkable everywhere but a bit removed from the noise. But the best part is the outstanding service. Every interaction with the staff was perfect: front desk and restaurant … the best!

Excellent location. Close to many attractions but on a quiet street. Spotless, attractive rooms. Attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. There are only eight rooms so it has an intimate feel. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

Maybe I overlooked it on their site, but I wasn’t aware the Villas weren’t on the property. The 10 minute cab ride to the hotel for breakfast wasn’t inconvenient for us in any case, and it was covered by the hotel. After breakfast we took advantage of being near the center to explore the sites on foot. The accommodations were worth every cent.

We had a great stay. Staff is unbelievably very customer service oriented, helpful and kind. I like the fact that it’s a small boutique hotel with only 8 rooms, very quiet and relaxing. Great location too.
