There is no carpeting in any of the rooms so if you are on the first floor all you hear all night is the upstairs people walking around all night.

The only reason I rated this higher than a 1 is because the room was actually clean and comfortable. The rest of our stay was ruined by an employee and her family who had taken up residence in the hotel lobby. The employee and her child were in the breakfast room both mornings we were there. The child was running around touching, coughing, and sneezing on hotel guests while the mother/employee yelled her name loudly but never seemed to actually corral the child. Both mornings this happened, as well as the employees family loading up on breakfast while paying guests couldn’t get to the food to make a plate for themselves, not that there was much to choose from anyway. Since coming home my whole family has gotten ill, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. As mentioned on my other reviews as well, this employee was also dressed inappropriately, wearing socks and sandals, and their uniform unkept with their belly showing. We would not stay here again.

Reserved a accessible room. When we arrived they only have one accessible room. They don’t tell you that when you make the reservation.
3.3
Decent room with a comfy bed but, the comfo/sheet was too thin. The shower head was terrible, even for a hotel. I was on the second floor, just above the entrance so i heard the front doors open every time someone came in or out. This was the second room i was put in since the ac was not working in the first room. If i could have, i would have went to another hotel.

Room 221 is re-done room with comfortable beds, nice artwork, a 5 cup coffee pot, microwave, sm fridge, new AC/heater. Looks very nice.
The thing is, you CAN'T STAY THERE comfortably because it's loaded with ROACHES!! Don't ask me why I saw none the first night and I was out all day. By the evening of day 2, they were crawling on the walls and floor! I killed them. The nightstand had baby ones! I packed quick and checked out 9:45p, 10/11... 2 NIGHTS EARLIER. (I checked into a different hotel at 10:15p) As it stands now, I asked for 2 nights refund of my 4 nights stay.
So far, Days Inn Wyndham, Seaford, DE is saying NO REFUND! Really? Okay. I'll just make it my business to keep telling the world about my experience.

Smelled like a smoke shop
3.3
It was amazing and we enjoyed our stay at the place.
3.3
The motel is under renovation & we recd one of the refurbished rooms. However, bathroom was not updated. Beds were comfortable. Perfect for 1 night.
3.3
It was ok. Nothing great but comfortable enough.
3.3
The Hotel is a older property but it was very comfortable and it had a pool, they had free breakfast but I didn’t have any
3.3
Need to update that the pool is currently closed
3.3
The staff was amazing ms Georgia was the most friendly person ever my kids are hyper and it was ok no one minded I will definitely stay here again
3.3
Lock was broken on the door - able to use the deadbolt, but the electronic lock did not, in fact, lock when we closed the door. It was fine for a single overnight, but won’t be coming back.

A few touch ups here and there, but otherwise was clean and modern in my room. The shower curtain rod was missing a screw and was limping.
My only real complaint is the first morning a housekeeper asked if i needed my room cleaned. I rejected with a "no thank you for today."
From then on no cleanings were done. Not a huge deal. But the floor ended up having sand everywhere which got annoying.
As to the weed smell in the hallways? Um you understand that medical is legal in Delaware?
In Scranton PA the smell is everywhere and ive smelled it coming out of luxury high end vehicles.
So don't get snooty about a Day's inn.

2nd floor hall and elevator smoking smell was uncomfortable
3.3
Staff was great the room had ants. A dirty pillowcase and an old filter left in the coffee maker.
3.3
Dirty sheets and finger nails on spread
3.3
I like the towels are clean and relatively new and the beds and pillows are comfortable and have clean linen.
The breakfast is terrible, limited, and unhealthy. Worst of all waiting for a long time even though we were there @8am
3.3
some of the staff is great, some are rude.
3.3
Hallway smelled like smoke.
3.3
The stay was horrible!! The 3 days I was there i had to call to the front desk to complain about the people upstairs making noises as if they were running, jumping and slamming things above me late at night while me and my daughter were trying to sleep.. the very lastnight we were awaken by the same exact noise at 1am in the morning and each time I called to the front desk i was told that they would call the persons and have them know to stop, this was not done, I have never had to call the front desk to report a noise complaint ever in any of the hotel stays that i have ever had.
3.3
The building has no AC other than in the rooms. Smells like marijuana and cigarettes. Couldn't even give us another towel. Sounded like they were remodeling a room in the middle of the night. Will never stay there again. Dump. Website not at all accurate to reality.
3.3
There were ants and roaches on the premises
3.3
The room was ok but breakfast there was no meat either morning pretty sad never have i ran into this
3.3
When we arrived at the 3pm check in time, there was no one at the desk for over 10 min. When we entered our room, it was filled with the overwhelming scent of bleach to the point where we had to start the fan and open a window to let it air out for over an hour. There were no dressers in the room to store our clothes. The TV was too small to be easily watched from the bed. The pillows were too flat and did not provide adequate neck support. The tub lacked a mat and was very slippery to stand on. Our room keys only worked intermittently. We appreciated the breakfast but were annoyed that a TV was on in the breakfast room and then appalled to find that it was tuned to Fox News which we found to be offensive. Given this experience, we would never return to this hotel.
3.3
Very noisy. No coffee. Front desk lady was catering to live ins. Room on top of us was kids running back and forth. The front desk would not stop them
3.3
Cosmetically not my first choice, however, it gets the job done. There was a strong smoking smell in the hallway which off putting and the lobby didn’t have A/C. The staff though was really good. Whatever I needed they were on it and quick with it too.
3.3
Best hotel I been in yet in Delaware
3.3
It was exactly liked i hoped it would be. Other then the pool being out of service.
3.3
The staff was nice. That was the only plus side. The pool was closed. The "breakfast" only consisted of waffles you have to make yourself. The polite front desk workers are the only reason I'm not upset. Lol.
3.3
Unfortunately they gave us a room right above the main entrance, so whenever someone entered or left you could hear the sliding door opening and closing. Free breakfast was until 10am, we got downstairs at 9:10 and all was gone including the coffee.
3.3
The bathroom fan did not work so it was so hot when you took a shower. You could not bath young children bc the tub stopper for shower would not allow a bath and air conditioning unit continuously ran. The pool was not open like listed on website . The staff was rude .
3.3
Hotel was clean and nice. Only downfall is it says there is a pool, which there is not it has been out of commission for 4 years apparently. My 5 kids were very sad about this and I would not have booked if we had know
3.3
I did found a moving bug on the floor
3.3
There were roaches crawling out of the toilet of our room. We ended up checking out and booking a room with another hotel. Still out all the money for this hotel but I am not letting my family sleep in a room full of roaches.
3.3
On the hotels listing there was supposed to be a pool. While the hotel did have a pool, it was not and has not been operational in a very long time. The posting should have been updated to show this because we were all expecting a pool to relax in after a long HOT day. We were all very disappointed and will absolutely not stay with them again.
3.3
Okay
3.3
The room appeared Not to be properly cleaned and prepped for guests 😕
Had to go to desk several times to ask for things: toilet paper, cups, ice bucket, room covered with dead flies.
