It was clean and comfortable. We didn't get a breakfast as stated when booked. That was a main reason for staying as to avoid going to a restaurant elsewhere in the morning.

Room was a little outdated but was comfortable enough for an evening. Had a TV which had plenty of channels.

Room was big and comfortable.. no room service but the restaurant across the parking lot had very very good food and super service

The location felt safe and very convenient.

Only bagels for breakfast

It is outdated. The staff members are friendly and courteous

Carpets were filthy. Smelled like cigarettes in the check in area and entrance. Dirty smell in the corridor. They called this Deluxe.. wonder how bad non-deluxe would be. Never staying there again.
Lifted the toilet seat cover and it had stains under the seat. Horrible!

Room and bathroom were clean. Curtains need to be updated and some of the furniture is old.

The reviews for this property varied. I needed a room for one night for college move in. My room needed a total overhaul. There were holes in the walls, very old stained carpets, peeling chipped paint and wallpaper. I realize the price was low and the state of the room probably reflected that. I know being a busy weekend asking for another room probably would not have been possible. The icing on the cake was finding a used towel and wash cloth hanging behind the bathroom door.

No soap shampoo coffee cups until we asked. Only one pillow per person. 1st day, no housekeeping. 2nd day only one bed made, some wet towels left. 3rd day shampoo removed from shower. Never any real cleaning. Several outlets would not take plugs. Front desk and breakfast staff OK. Nothing to write home about, though. Overheard another customer say “toilet not clean when we arrived.”

we spent around 170 CAD per night for the double queen room, and I think the value we got out of this price is supper good. we got everything near by. the breakfast is very simple, just a coffee and a bagel, but you can get a fancy breakfast on the same street by walk in.

I like the location of the area and also some stuff’s behavior is so nice. But the room and the bathroom need to renovate. Stains on carpet , bathroom door , potty seat not fixed properly and also bathtub is very old and stains.
Last and most important part is the bed bug which one I can’t take it.

Needed a place last-minute overnight due to delayed flight. Meadow Inn was quick and easy. The bathroom fixtures and room overall is dated, but I don't require modern furnishings to stay overnight. The mattresses looked new, and the sheets were crispy clean!

Not safe for children to get room on the second floor as the walkway guard rails are insufficient even an adult can fall through

Definitely outdated but it was perfectly fine.

I think the owners should put a little money into this place because it could be so much better! Kind of a shame because it is located in a prime location, near the Colleges, Downtown Commons, Farmer's Market, many waterfalls, there is even a Wegmans and other shopping across the street. There is a motel and a hotel on the actual property, we stayed in the hotel part. The place needs serious cleaning and decor update which seems to be stuck in the 70s and 80s. With that said, the the air conditioner worked good, the towels and sheets were clean and beds were comfortable. The free TV channels didn't sync up with what the directory said and when watching a free movie, it stopped streaming half way through. Breakfast, that was included, was kind of ridiculous and was basically bagels and muffins in packages. If you book, keep an open mind.

For an overnight stay, it was adequate. If I wanted to stay longer, I’d probably choose any hotel.

Carpet was filthy, stained and sticky. Bathroom floor tile was broken and floor was dirty. Bathtub was stained and broken & chipped. Shower head wobbled like it was going to come out of the wall. Ceiling stained like water leaked. Sheets were also stained. Curtains falling off wall. Nothing had been updated there in at least 30 years. Tried to get another reservation but none available.

This was the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed it. It is literally falling apart. How did it have. 3.5 review on Expedia?? It was old, dirty, dingy, and smelly. The rooms were carpeted and the carpet was wet and moldy. The bed linens were stained. It was so gross I checked for bed bugs. I can’t believe this dump cost me $180. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

After paying hefty price for one night, we felt we can rate this motel minus with less than zero. Bugs in the bathroom, coffee machine doesn’t work, lot of dust on carpet, bedding hasn’t been changed for months. We have to cover pillows and beds with our cloths and blankets from Walmart. Please do not reserve and stay here.

The property was dirty but maybe you get what you pay for.

The first room was really bad not clean etc. I asked what the difference was between standard and deluxe and was told deluxe was newer more hotelsie
And little bigger I asked to upgrade and was given this at no extra charge I believe. The deluxe was definitely cleaner and regular towels toilet paper no spotted tobacco in the room cleaner mattresses etc. whoever was on the front desk was extremely nice about it or I would have not stayed.
6.0 / 10.0
The room was clean, the water pressure was good, water was hot, and the AC worked. The property is old and dated, but provides the basics.
8.0 / 10.0
Wifi terrible, so TV didn’t work and if you have luggage there is no elevator

friendly and courteous staff. The only problem was a non-working in-room coffee pot

I stayed for four nights and I do not recommend this hotel. The room and hotel was overall dirty and had a very funky smell that sticked to everything that was in the room. Further, the toilet clogged the first night and was not repaired until the third day (even though notice was given to the reception), entailing that I had to use the toilet in the reception for two days. When informing the reception the first time, they responded "it is common, try to flush". Also, I am pretty sure that I did not have fresh sheets in my rooms as I found several dark hairs in the bed (not my hair colour). I further tried to contact the hotel before my stay both via hotels.com and by a form on their website, but I did not receive any response. The breakfest was very poor. However, the wifi was good!

Very good for a place you need to stay for a night. You get exactly what you pay for. Not less, not more. The place is clean, but very outdated.

Old fashion family business. Nice change.

Carpet was stained. AC was leaking into room and made a giant puddle. The shower would scald you if anyone flushed the toilet

Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access. Comfortable bed. Room was nice but rug needs to go!
8.0 / 10.0
Nice family owned— only ask for the new building wing. The older parts are dicey. Good, average food and well priced meals on the property with friendly waitresses. Bar is old town favorite.
4.0 / 10.0
Television confusing. Streaming was buffering with no conclusion
8.0 / 10.0
Easy check in, room was decent, can improve the looks inside and outside the rooms.

There is a big difference between the motel and hotel part of the inn. The latter is much nicer and the area cleaner, with amenities like microwave and coffee machine. We were booked into the motel part, but our room turned out to still be occupied when we arrived. No one was sure what had happened, and fortunately the occupants were in the bathroom when we let ourselves in (we quickly left). The day clerk was very nice and upgraded us to the hotel part, which was much better. Otherwise, it was conveniently located near a supermarket and not too far from downtown Ithaca. We were visiting Cornell.

First room was unclean. 2nd room not much better. It’s a crappy cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.

Facilities are very outdated, but the staff were fantastic. They were accommodating and listened to our concerns and even upgraded our room when our first room had a less than working air conditioning unit. They were friendly and helpful.
