A really cosy room with welcoming receptionist. Had a great nights sleep and a simple tasty continental breakfast ready for our journey onwards.thanks

Staff were very happy, welcoming and polite. The room was ok, but ageing, especially the en-suite, which was very old and rundown.
Although the place was appropriate for the evening, I would not stay there again.

We wanted some where easy to find within reach of friends that we were visiting. On arrival we were treated very well, friendly and professional. We were recommended several places to eat . The room very clean and everything worked. One mattress was not too comfortable but we turned it and all was fine. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and we had our fill.. strange to think this once stood alongside The Great North Road in it's heyday.. this is not cheap its great value for money and has much to recommend it.

If you're looking for basic of basics then this is ok
Doesnt explain the breakfast as continental. Rooms smell a bit funky.
Veey outdated

Perfectly reasonable start for a night just off the A1. Great benefit was being able to bring the dogs in the room, which was great.

My wife and I stayed at Redwings Sawtry again for an overnight stop after a family party.
The location is ideal adjacent to but not next to the A1M. Parking is easy as is check in. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The room is functional and a decent size. Corby press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities on hand. Our ground floor room overlooked the fields where we watched deer playing in the stubble. Breakfast is a simple affair of toast, cereals, fruit juices, tea, coffee and prepacked filled pastries. Certainly adequate for those not wanting the extra unnecessary
costs associated with a fried breakfast.

Easy access and ample parking spaces. Don’t think there was a lift, but only one and a bit flights of stairs to negotiate to first floor. Staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Room was quite spacious and bed was comfortable, but en suite would benefit from a bit of a tidy up, overall it was fine. The breakfast was basic cereal, toast and croissants, with tea, coffee, and orange juice available, but was a good start to the day, and was included in room rate.

I have stayed here many times as convenient for my needs. Lovely staff and service.

Have been before and staff are very helpful recommend to all

Very convenient stop off the A1 for the night. Night and day staff were great and helpful.
I travelled with 2 well behaved dogs who slept on their own bedding but only niggle was the stale smell in the room. As it was on ground floor I wasn't happy leaving windows open overnight to air the room. This would not stop me from staying there again.

It was good value for the price we paid - not luxurious, but adequate.

Pet friendly, and a games room in a quiet location, extremely affordable, friendly staff.

I love the location of this hotel and the staff are all exceptional. The room itself is well frrnished and very clean. However the bathroom is in urgent need of attention, I had a shower and weather I couldn’t understand or not it was either very hot or cold and the rose was none efficient. I stayed at the red wind lodge many times and have never complained before as I’ve always enjoyed our stay at your hotel but please do
Something about that shower. I remain yours respectfully

Awful rooms, beds very uncomfortable, ver poor facilities and shower was terrible

A very nice place to stay. Very convenient for work purposes.
It is a little dated and needs money spent on it to modernise it but it is clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly.

The hotel staff were great but the facilities need an update.

Convenient and reasonably priced for what we needed.
Power outlet alongside the bed would be handy !

Excellent and good value for money. Breakfast used to be better.

the staff were very pleasant but the property needed maintenance. The curtain rail fell off the wall so we had to sleep with no blackout curtains, there was mould and cracked tiles in the en-suite. The TV was very pixelated and even went off for short periods, no doubt due to bad reception. We will not be staying again.

Beautiful view from the bedroom window .
Bathroom extremely small and shower head poor.

very good and cheapish

Mouldy shower. No wifi in room, only available near reception. Cobwebs on ceiling in bedroom. Overall not a good experience.
10.0
Even though the place is slightly dated it was very clean .
And the staff are all very nice and helpful.
And most of all to see the deers and hares running in the fields.

The quality of accommodation was adequate and for price was good value. Hotel car parking was excellent and in general terms the hotel facilities were okay. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly. For me the main downside was the shower cubicle which lacked cleanliness evident due to a plentiful supply of black mould also the water pressure was too low for a refreshing shower that said the Hotel was okay and good value for money.

Friendly and helpful girl on front desk helped us carry luggage upstairs and was really lovely in general

Room was comfortable, though would have liked a second chair. Nice and peaceful. Clean and easy to park. There was a Indian restaurant in walking distance and a lovely chinese a short drive away. A short but pleasant stay.
