carmen Teresa goes from better to better,thanks to Mercedes…..who runs a tight ship.Cool laid back atmosphere in very Spanish surroundings.Perfect location for La Carihuela Torremolinos Benalmadena and Fuenguirola (bus stop outside).Look forward to my next visit!

Lovely family run hotel. Reception very helpful regarding trips to Gibraltar, Al Hambra Palace ,Cordoba as well as local transport help . Bus stop to Malaga and Mijas just outside hotel steps. And beach approx 2-3 minutes walk . Also lovely pool and garden at hotel. We will definitely use this hotel again.

I had an excellent greeting from a male receptionist, and indeed nearly all of the staff including those doing bar, grounds and cleaning work are very polite and professional. I was given a top floor room (which I had asked for) and it was a good size with ample storage space, a lovely light en suite and balcony. The room was in the corner of an L shaped building however, so therefore on view for anyone on a neighbouring balcony if the curtains were not drawn. The television was excellent- many UK regular channels available. Throw in an in room safe and have optional extra blankets in the room and the stay would be perfect. The hotel is on a main road close to two train stations and within easy reach of both Torremolinos and Benalmadena. It also has some well tended grounds with enough space for sunloungers and a small swimming pool.

After travelling through Europe decided to finish with some sunshine in torremilinos,the welcome I received from the receptionist Mercedes was first class , definitely the right person for the job ,very helpful and friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see me .Hotel good value for money and only two streets back from the beach , room was cleaned everyday,not always the case as stayed in a different hotel in torremilinos and moved because it was run down and not cleaned .If your looking for exceptionally helpful staff ,stay here ,big thank you to Mercedes.!

This is my third time at this property. The main reason I come back here is because it has the full English TV channels which other hotels don’t have. The staff always helpful, and it is always spotlessly clean.

I spent 17 nights at this hotel. It was home from home. Very helpful and friendly staff. Who I thank dearly for there relaxed friendly service. The most beautiful garden and quaint pool. Delightful small hotel old style Spain staff were so friendly especially Mercedes. I had an issue with building noise she stopped it. It’s basic but very pleasant for my 6 nights and price was amazing. I’ll definitely go back.

Location is good, walkable from the train station and a bus directly outside to go to Malaga or Benalmadena or further down the coast. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to either along the promenade. Cleanliness is immaculate! Small pool in lovely gardens, very tranquil Staff fantastic. Considering the price point, this hotel is superb!

I ve spent 5 days at the hôtel. The location is very good. About 2 blocs to the beach. 10 min walk to train and buses at the door. No mini fridges in rooms. Very good staff except ine lady at the receotuin who didn't want to give me ice and asked me to drink in the lobby....the other staff were helpful and Friendly'

Pleasant stay, if the hotel had a buffet breakfast available it would have added much more to the whole experience. The facilities were good and overall good value for money. Staff were helpful.

The staying at Hotel Carmen Teresa was very comfortable and cosy. The staff was so helpful and the garden and the pool really nice. The hotel is situated 5-10 min walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. The road in front is rather buissy as a busses to Malaga and near towns drives pass. It is thoug not disturbing.

Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Wonderful service. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants, but it is a bit of an uphill hike to the train station if you're going into Malaga. It's about six euros to take a taxi to the train. Great value for the area. Wonderful garden.

Basic rooms but very clean. Daily housekeeping. Balcony was great for sitting out at night or morning. Staff friendly. Felt safe at all times which as a womam travelling alone was important. Location was great, 3 min walk from La Carihuela beach. Bus stops right outside for bus to Malaga/Benalmadena/Feungirola. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again

The hotel is ai expected . Nice friendly and helpfull staff . Alas with covid 19 there isnt an atmasphere in the bar. People now bring their drinks onto the lawn I have been there on numerous occasions it is only 300 meters from the beech and losts of eateries . Its a nice quite friendly place.

The hotel was very clean and well staffed, gardens and pool are lovely and the location was excellent, bus stops right outside front doors going either way excellent.Montemar is a lovely beach/bars/restaurants and walk down to the marina or Benalmadena.

Lovely hotel five minutes from the beach and easy to get to by car from the motorway. We found a parking place opposite the hotel wjich was perfect.Clean, friendly, air conditioned room with balcony.Hotel has a bar, pool, lovely garden with pool and serves a very good breakfast for only 7€.Staff are very helpful and friendly.
