This hotel was fantastic. We will 100% stay here again. Perfect for a family get away!

The hotel stay was very pleasant, staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Great location. Clean room and comfortable bed. The pool area was very nice and beach bar was a plus. Friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay and LOVED that our room had a patio that opened up right onto the beach! The only thing I would recommend the hotel change with that, is to NOT place lounge chairs right in front of beach front rooms! Nobody wants to have strangers laying/hanging out right out their patio door.
The hotel was getting ready to start renovations on the property so it was a bit disorganized. But overall, we loved the place and would stay there again. Look forward to see what the place looks like when the renovations are complete.

it’s an older hotel that they have put some love into… could use a bit more esp for the price… can’t beat the location though. next to a publix too and a bunch of stuff all walking distance… we had our room upgraded for no additional charge which was so great . more beautiful sunset views. pool/ beachside service was very nice.. we enjoy it very much

The worst hotel I ever stayed. One night couldn’t even sleep because of the noises.

My stay was great. I got to step out my door and ride onto the beach. The rooms was clean the carpets was clean outside the room we had our own pool it was just great

We stay here every year for the pool and location bc it is convenient to everything. However this year in addition to the resort fee when checking in they also placed and additional hold of $300 on my card. I questioned this because I have never had to pay it in the past. Just something to be mindful of bc no where on the website does it mention this. Also, I hate the wrist bands they make you wear, nobody wants that tan line. We Uber to the resort and use Freebee during our stay which is great but this year we had a rental for 1 day and the resort charged me $30 parking fee. I disputed when checking out and was told it would be removed but it’s still showing on my card. I’m considering staying somewhere else in the future, I visit a few times a year. Overall a good place to stay but not really fond of the recent changes that come along with new ownership. They charge a resort fee but in my eyes it’s not a resort. In the past there were snack/soda machines in the hall and now they charge $6-8 for a soda at the front desk. It’s not that big of a deal bc Publix is right across the street but if not prepared that late night drink/snack could really cost ya!

Older buildings but clean and friendly service.

Loved our beach access! There was an issue with AC, but was fixed the next day. Next year bringing the extended family - perfect location for families!!

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for more than 10 years, it’s been a tradition to come here at least twice a year in the summer. The hotel is always clean and cozy and the beds are very comfortable. the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home especially the front desk staffs kenniyah ,Rita and Launen they always make us feel very welcome and comfortable.this resort is close to anything you can ask for, Publix, Starbucks,CVS and restaurants. I love this resort

There are lot of hidden fees, the rooms are very dirty, air conditioning is very noisy along with outside units on the 2nd floor.

Love that it was on the beach. Beautiful views and great food. The room was very nice and clean. I just disagree with the house keeping not vacuuming the room daily. We experienced a little rudeness at the outside bar but other than that I would definitely recommend. We will be back next year to check out what changes have been with the renovations coming.

didn't like the pillows on the bed. too small

Pool closes at dusk and pretty dated in style. Otherwise a solid gulf beach hotel

We stayed here many years ago. Had not been back but took the chance for a short, overnight stay.It was perfect for a relaxing couple of days at the beach. We enjoyed the free complimentary drink, ordered from the restaurant and the beach cabana kept us shaded when we were not enjoying the perfect gulf water!! This was our second stay here. Will stay again!

Dirty rooms, sneaky slow drain in bathroom, cockroaches in our room two nights out of six… great staff, great beach, fun activities, close to everything and affordable

Perfect location. Price was a little high for the condition of the building. Wish the pool was open later.

Great place. Nothing fancy in the rooms but clean smells nice along with space. Everything is there towels for beach and pool. Free beach cabanas just have to get them early.

Just needs an update

Needs update to rooms, lots of crud in bathroom and shower, furniture outdated, overall not a comfortable experience.

We had good time, the location is great, it is close to Pharmacy, grocery store, nice Restaurants. They have live music on the pool side bar, courtesy drink and It's 30 minutes away from Tampa airport We loved comfortable pillow top bed, the cabanas on the beach and great sunset view. They inform that they will upgrade this Summer/24, I'd recommend them to add USB port ( forgot mine) and better WI-FI.

There was a leak in the ceiling first night and the ceiling tiles fell out and soaked the floor , we were moved to another room, the boco sands grill is ridiculously expensive and horrible food so skip that, it's pretty dated but service was decent, the maid was a little rude and the front desk lady when we checked out acted like I was annoying her when I was simply leaving my cards To check out . Pool was always crowded but clean . Beach was right there and activities, Publix right across street and restaurants within walking distance.

The young lady who was at the reception when I arrived was very kind, friendly and answered all my questions with great patience. I don't remember her name but I want to leave her a rating of excellence

BATHROOMS TO FAR FROM POOL
DIRTY BALCONY
50 DOLLER CHARGE FOR EARLY CHECK IN

I think it’s a bit expensive but great place to stay
Don’t agree with paying 25.00 to get into a room early especially when you have them ready

Hotel is old. Looks like the old Army barracks but is mostly clean, no cucarachas so far. Overall is good and I will go again.

Outdated for sure, but clean. Weird smell, like an old basement. Close to a lot of stores and food places. The staff is nice.

Fun bar and pool area. Bed was comfy.

Great location..convenient to Publix and restaurants

It was dated, but it was clean the staff were nice and accommodating, and everything you would need is walking distance, the only knock I have is the washer and dryer only takes quarters and it’s $6.00 a load…

First, observation...needs updating badly!! And the smells in the hallways...Beds are very uncomfortable/pillows are very lumpy and needs to be thrown out and replaced!!

The patio room was better than the 2nd floor room I stayed in days before. It was cleaner. The pillows are too small and the bed is way too low. And the kitchenette area says there are dishes and utensils but there is nothing there at all.
The air conditioner is super noisy. I couldn't sleep well. The noise of it kicking on kept waking me up.
4.0
The room was outdated and needed some deep cleaning.
There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The front desk was not friendly or helpful when I complained about the mold.
