Stayed for one night, for a gig at the halls. Ideal, literally 5 mins away. The staff are friendly. It’s clean enough. Our mattress was awful. And I think I felt every single spring. Parking is very limited. So get there early if you can. The bar is reasonably priced. And open late. Perfectly acceptable hotel for what we used it for.

Room could’ve been better. The lamp next to the bed fell off the wall and the TV remote did not work.
3.4
Clean and very close to town centre. Excellent staff.
3.4
Very basic room -
Breakfast wasn’t great -
Bed was very low and matress needed replacing!!

The disabled room we were in was a health hazard. All the grab bars had been previously painted, this had then gone rusty and the rust had gone down the wall. This was a serious hazard and totally unacceptable especially since it was in a disabled room
3.4
There was blood on the bed and the kettle was absolutely filthy. Both car parks are way too small barely any room to park when busy, have complained via email to the hotel but they did not answer. This has put me and my partner off staying here in the future.

Positive-
All of the staff we came across were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
Great location for a gig at the Uni Wulfrun Hall.
Great price for parking-£5 for 24 hours.
Room very basic but we only want somewhere to sleep so dont spend too much time in the room otherwise.
Negative-
The bed was confortable although when we got back in, we found 2 tissues when we pulled back the quilt and then noticed there were a couple of stains on the duvet cover. The bedding cant have been changed, it was clearly tucked in/straightened.
You only get 1 pillow each which werent great. Im sure they would have peobably provided additional ones if asked.
At first glance, a very reasonably priced hotel and although we dont mind basic/old, we do expect clean bedding so we wouldnt stay here again.

Excellent location, Friendly staff. Great bar service. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Brilliant value for money. We will definitely stay again

We had a great stay. The hotel is a little aged and could be a little clener but the beds were very comfortable, and was nice to have tea making facilities. Bathroom was nice, towels included in there. Lift a little scary!! Parking is an extra £5. We checked in early (1pm) for £10. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Looked ok when went in room alot of tv channels didn't work lifted beding of and mattress had holes in it pillow uncomfortable bed uncomfortable will not return

The place was exceptionally clwan, comfotable and easy reach of Wolverhampton City Centre. Unfortunately it is on the ring road and can be noisy. Excellent value for money that being said

Got here not expecting much because of the super low price. It was warm, clean and absolutely serviced our purposes for crashing after a gig. The reception were friendly and it was easy to find our room. Only downside was one small pillow so the bed wasn't very comfortable. After bulking it up with my jumper it was ok. We didn't use the cafe.

Trough sleep beds are old window would close street noise

Not very nice place to stay receptionist was rude and not very welcoming. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom door handle kept coming off,the toilet leaked so there was a puddle off water every time I used the bathroom. The only good thing about the Hotel was the food it was reasonably priced and good portions. They had the cheek to charge £5 for parking.I would never stay here again or in any Redwing Lodge Hotel.

Was really good for the price we got it for! Only complaint was that we found chewing gum stuck to the underside of one of the bedside lights…

Wouldn't use this as a dog kennel. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Had it not been so late 11pm checking in and leaving early morning I would've left.
Met at entrance by a lady who was acting as if she was staff. I honestly don't think she was. Started taking pictures of one of my boys then at reception.
Check in felt uncomfortable with this lady being joined another unsavory acting man.
Reception guy mumbling behind a safety screen that was filthy. Gave no details of where we were to go, where breakfast would be etc.
Went through hotel to find room. Carpets filthy throughout. Smell in corridors.
Rooms, shocking. Dirty, wonky furniture and beds, carpets stained with god knows what. Bathroom I have no words for.
Couldn't close windows due to stuffiness and smell. So kept awake by all sorts of noise from regular police sirens, arguing in car park, traffic, very loud noise of 'adult activities' in nearby room and in car park outside. By 4am having had no sleep at all there was a congregation and argument outside in corridor from foreign speaking men, maybe 10 or do from noise. After at least 20 mins this moved to car park outside. The night went on and on.
Being diabetic I must eat breakfast. Went down alone as my wife couldn't face it.
Receptionist appeared to be making food.
Handed dirty cutlery. No tea. Only bits available. I left, got the family and we checked out getting breakfast on route. I could list more, but no point.

I didn’t enjoy my stay from the start. I arrived before checkin and asked was there baggage storage and was told no facilities at all. Which for a 3 star would be the minimum you would expect. Once checked in, the lower ground (where my room was) stunk of weed in the hallway. The room has a terrible smell of sewerage. I was totally shocked. I would never stay ever again at this chain of hotels.

Frequent visitor. Excellent location for football matches. Clean room and excellent staff.
3.4
You need a storage room for lugage! Terrible you don’t have that
3.4
3am check in no probs, essy parking, friendly staff, clean room wirh hot drinks
3.4
I was made to pay for parking in the hotel even as a guest. The wifi was very poor.
3.4
Room was good. Shower was great the only thing to let it down was the bad. Way to soft.
3.4
Bed was ok, the bathroom wasn’t great. The tv was maybe 16inch and was placed 4m from the bed so you couldn’t see or read anything on it and I have 20/20 vision. No AC or even fan and the window opened up onto a busy 3 lane road so had the choice to either boil to death or not sleep because of the noisy road. The staff were friendly though

I recently stayed at Redwings Hotel and had a very disappointing experience. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it hard to relax. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and stained, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep with my 3 months old baby. To top it off, the bathroom was poorly maintained, with noticeable stains in the bath. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

We stayed for 2 days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on first day was fine. However breakfast on 2nd day was non existent. At 9am I and a few other people came for breakfast, they ran out of everything. By 9.35 only scrambled egg was topped up everything else still wasn't replenished. They apologised and said it's cooked fresh, I get this by why wait till everything has run out before restocking?I gave up and had a refund. Someone was waiting for veggie sausages , at 9.45 they topped it up and served the sausages.
Bacon doesn't take 45 mins to cook, how fresh was it...was it still on the pig?????

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Thd staff were friendly and helpful.
3.4
Very uncomfortable bed. It’s an ex Travelodge and anything that wasn’t nailed down was removed. The bare minimum was replaced. Bed was cheap and uncomfortable, room was very noisy.
3.4
Nice room , terrible breakfast
3.4
The property was close to the centre. Staff were good, but my mattress was worn out and sunken in the middle, very uncomfortable.
3.4
Window wouldn’t fully shut and traffic side
3.4
Room was clean and plenty of space. When shower broke, we were instantly moved to a new room without fuss. It was uncomfortably warm on top floor, reception gave us a fan on second day which helped. Breakfast wasn’t great. No vegetarian alternative so had to pay £7 for cereal and toast. Plus stopped bringing food out by 9:15 despite saying serving until 10. Plenty of better breakfast options within walking distance though.
3.4
The room was unbearable with the heat and there was no fan. Vending machine didnt work downstairs. Staff were friendly but the rooms were very basic.
3.4
The staff are lovely at this hotel, it’s basic but clean and tidy and fine for one night if on a budget.
The hotel does not have air con so was very very hot in rooms and in bar area was quite unbearable in the last few days heat
3.4
The room was very comfortable it incredibly hot. Could have done with being told fans were available when we checked in instead of discovering it from another guest on our way to check out.
3.4
Resonable price...close to city centre
3.4
The blinds let light into the room so you wake as soon as the sun comes up. Pillows wafer thin and bed not particularly comfortable. Reception staff helpful and pleasant.
3.4
Very clean and tidy

It's fine for the cost, about £44 for a double room on a Sunday (to me a cheaper day). It's a budget hotel, with signs of wear and tear, but the room was clean, reasonable size, and shower room was functional. However the bed was so soft, both my partner and I awoke with backache, which we suspected would happen. Def need new mattresses. The room smelt pleasant when we walked in, which makes a change as so many hotels cleaning products leave a very unpleasant odour. Was so glad we didnt get the ground floor "upgraded" room, that we were in once before, where everyone walking in from the car park can see straight into the room, so you have to close the curtains even in daylight. One day someone will realise that room needs a net across it!!! Location is good, just a few mins walk from the town centre, or about 20 mins to KKs Steel Mill which is where we were off to.

even though check in was easy and staff lovely x the room was awful stains on the floor bed had seen better days no room to unpack clothing, carpet were fraying
