This was an excellent hotel. It was extremely clean, and the customer service was fantastic. Angie call to confirm that I did need a handicap room. Angie and Dawn were super nice.

Wonderful place to stay at! The room is so quiet and the bed was quite comfy, made sleeping easy. The staff greeted us every time we walked by the front desk, which is something I don’t often encounter elsewhere. Everything in the room and throughout the hotel was functional and clean. I will be coming back to this hotel next time I’m in Milwaukee.

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The rooms are like little apartments and had everything needed....except ice. You can only get ice from the freezer in your room so you have to turn it on and wait for it to be made. There are no ice machines anywhere else in the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay it was very relaxing and peaceful I enjoyed the spacious room, the friendliness of the customer service staff the sitting area was also very nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed the shower the tub and cooking area in my room was really nice and clean and everything was excellent.

When the heater kicked on, it sounded like a train was going through the room. The fridge in the room was also very noisy. No bath mat - slipped in the wet floor. No soap at the bathroom sink. Key did not work 2 of the 3 nights - had to go back to the desk from end of the third floor hall to get key reset.

The person at the front desk was rather unprofessional. The hotel did not have a copy of my paid receipt and wanted to charge me again for the room! I also sent a request several days prior about having a room on a higher floor that was away from the elevator. I was put in a room on the 1st floor! I complained about it and it was then changed to the 3rd floor.

The rooms were good size and the front lobby was a great place to relax. No breakfast though? Also, the bottom of the bathtub had some weird brown stains/marks on it.

Room was musty smelling. While check-out is at 11:00, cleaning staff was knocking at my door at 8 a.m. - well in advance of check-out time. I was still asleep.

It is located close to the airport which is what we needed. It was close to restaurants and shopping areas as well. Our room was decent but the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly. Overall a pretty good stay.

We booked a stay at Candlewood Suites and day of our stay, they called and told us we got bumped to Holiday Inn Express. When we got to Holiday Inn (we checked in at 3 AM) they couldn’t find our reservation.

Having a full size refrigerator, countertop stove and dishwasher with dishes was wonderful for a longer stay. We also liked the automatic thermostat that detected when we were out of the room and when we were back. We were disappointed that there was no hot water, only one washcloth but 3 hand towels and 3 bath towels, we did not have hand soap in the bathroom until we asked for it, there was no sink plug in the bathroom sink, or an extra roll of toilet paper. Thankfully we didn't run out but it wasn't a full roll to begin with. To us these are items that should be standard at any hotel.

3 different rooms in 4 days. From very filthy, shower and dishwasher not working to mouse feces in the bed! Then one of the staff was upset with me because of the rooms changes. “I’m not moving you again”, was stated by her. Cindy or Chris was the name.
