Lovely property with exceptional staff. The town is fantastic - I’d highly recommend staying at this gem of a hotel.

The hotel is completely renovated with great taste and amenities. The staff is extremely attentive, the restaurant had great food and outstanding service for dinner. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and everything was delicious. It’s also a short walk from the shopping area.

Very nice hotel in Cortina d’ Ampezzo. The hotel room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel’s gym was redone in 2020 and so was very clean and updated with nice equipment. Had to leave early the next day and they prepared our breakfast to go, even though breakfast at the hotel was not served until hours later.
Only complaint is the rooms do not have air conditioning but since it was nice and cool outdoors, it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Wow just wow. Perfect hotel !! The best service we have received in life. We got to celebrate our honeymoon and got so many upgrades and good treatment from all the staff. The room was amazing! The view is unbelievable, the food at breakfast is perfect! And every detail that was in the hotel from the perfect spa to the mattress of the bed in the room were simply at the highest levels possible. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure! Thank you so much for the experience !!

Pros: very good service, great location, free onsite parking, nice warm pool in the spa, and they kindly provided a free room upgrade to Mountain View. Buffet breakfast has lots of variety and something for everyone.
Cons: for how much they cost, the rooms are very small and there is no air con or airflow, which made the rooms hot in the summer. You must leave the patio doors wide open all night to get some cool air (would be nice if there were windows to open instead). They are strict with spa reservations and I wasn’t allowed to use the pool at 7:30pm even though it closed at 8pm.

Amazing service and staff at this hotel! The location is perfect to walk everywhere in Cortina. The room and the mountain view was impeccable. We will absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Cortina from the US.

Excellent overall. Didn’t realize that Soa facilities are shared with the guests from a 4 star hotel next door and the facilities are full of them. The difference in manners is striking.....

Lovely hotel, very well located opposite skibus stop. Good spa with a selection of saunas and a big pool. Excellent service including ski hire in the basement and own garage. We shall return next year.

Welcome fizz and nibbles very nice to have. Car parking sorted easily

Hotel is nice but comfort is missing. The bed is not comfortable, blanket is from polyester fiber. We asked to change it to feather and fortunately they changed that. But first night was terrible.
Normally in such luxury hotels it should be a standard.

5* price but really only 4* experience. Room was smaller than you'd expect for the price, sound insulation was poor - you could hear every word of people's conversation in the corridor outside the room and could hear music from the bar every evening. And WiFi was unusably slow.
Otherwise, top class, particularly the staff.

We stayed at the Grand Savoia for one night in August 2017. The hotel is very well situated, minutes from the pedestrian area of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Check-in was fast and efficient and the staff welcoming and pleasant. This hotel caters to guests that like a certain type of old-world style, with large lounges and dining rooms. In this sense, the hotel exudes a slightly dated atmosphere, hearkening back to the 60's or 70's. The rooms themselves are rather small but decorated with style and flair. Wireless internet was available, but we could not get it to work during our short stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of choices and options, all delicious.

Nice hotel, but no airconditioning. In summer that could be a problem...

This is a true five star hotel in all aspects.

Overall this is a nice place, the lounge and bar is very stylish, rooms are good. But let down by a few things, it doesn't match up to 4star hotels in nearby resorts. I had a 2 night stay, on arrival you are given a paper voucher to use the pool and spa (i.e. can only use it once), at the entrance to the basement pool/spa two unhappy looking staff insisted that I purchased a swimming cap for 3Euro cash. They would not let me add this to the room bill and it seemed a bit of a con trick for them to make money. Inside, no-one was wearing a swimming cap anyway. Not an outstanding pool/spa.
Location is good. The concierge park your car and retrieve it, however if there is no concierge or the hotel is busy then you can wait quite a long time to retrieve your car when you need to leave.
Overall it is a good place, maybe not quite worth the money and I'm not sure I'd stay again but I'd try somewhere else for a change
