We arrived in the dark after a trip to Rosemoor Glow and there was very little signposting that we could see to reception and then to our room when we eventually hit checked in. Meal in the restaurant was excellent although service if drinks was slow and mains came literally as soon as last mouthful of starter taken and plates hadn’t been cleared. Lovely peaceful sleep and to wake up the next morning to see the place in dayslight was beautiful. Breakfast was average - service good . Went to use the jacuzzi but wasn’t working which was most disappointing as pool too cold to swim in. The massage I booked was incredible so thank you .

Amazing service. Stunning room.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous building (Manor House). Our room was amazing, very well set up and lots of facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The lodges in the grounds looked beautiful, and we will be looking to book a week there next I’d say.

Wonderful room, beautiful place. Nice evening meal, would definitely stay there again.

Loved our first stay at The Mole Resort. Staff were lovely throughout and the food was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
Constructive criticism is that the Pavilion needs updating and there could be a lot more signs directing you to places.

Comfortable estate room (dog friendly). Nice big bed. Plenty of space. Lovely views. Lots to do and good service. Food in the restaurant was over seasoned but discounted as a result. Lovely indoor pool and facilities.

Having not stayed here since it became the Mole Resort (stupid name), we were very disappointed with how the hotel is now—an afterthought and clearly not a priority. This hotel used to be great, with great quality service, rooms, and food.
However, this venue is now short-staffed in every department, food quality is average, and the rooms are not clean. The check-in was a joke as despite staying in the hotel, we had to walk around the complex to find the check at the bar at the Hub, which is poorly signposted and does not even mention hotel reception. In the main house, you have to walk down the station to the cellar bar each time you want a drink as no staff are around upstairs and join the large queue as again there is not enough staff. The restaurant service is very slow, and shorts and flip-flops are now okay for guests. The loft suite is now above the patio of the cellar bar and is very noisy, with people drinking outside. It was a very disappointing stay, and we will not stay again.

Lovely settings and super friendly staff. My only grumble would be that the rooms don’t match the description/ pictures as you book online.

Stayed in main house. Nicely decorated comfortable bedroom with good ensuite bathroom. Generally very clean. Good tea and coffee making facility. Provision of bottled water on night tray a good thing as cold water tap was continuously tepid, despite running it for a while.
Towels fluffy white and fairly new. Quality of bedding good.
Minor issue was cracked glass in bathroom window and slight staining on bedroom carpet. Suggest guests could be more helpful by wearing slippers instead of shoes in bedrooms.
Long wait for cooked breakfast to arrive at table on both mornings did hold back start of day but polite and cheerful service staff did offset the problem somewhat
Will stay again as loved location and facilities and will definitely recommend to family and friends with children

Clean and comfortable but room was quite basic. Wouldn't call it a luxury spa hotel.

Fabulous setting but signage needs improving
Room was very comfortable but water in bathroom not potable for some reason.
Didn't use any of the facilities but they looked superb and the grounds and views were magnificent. It was a shame the restaurant was fully booked as was the pub in the village we were directed to. Excellent breakfast in the morning

last minute break, lovely pool spa , fantadtiv views and very comfortable bed

Strange checkin process, reception is at the Hub not in the Hotel, I may have missed communication on this but a lot of walking about just to check in
Car chargers need bettering, current type have no instructions and no staff (5 of them) knew how they worked or more importantly released the cable!

Everyone was lovely, the weather was fantastic, the balcony was very tired and the swimming pool changing room needed a bit of update.
But overall it was lovely

Beautiful location with lots of wonderful walks. Maps are available from reception. On site facilities are excellent and Cellars Bar and restaurant well worth a visit. A very nice 3 night stay, Hope to return some time.

Extremely clean. Staff are very helpful and easily contaed via Whatsapp. Lots of activities available. The pub and restaurant served fantastic food. Really delicious and good quality. No drinking water in the room. Two small bottles of water provided but this isn't enough so we were dehydrated and got a headache. Balcony was green and slimy. It needed a good pressure wash and so was unusable. This was a bit disappointing as it was a lovely day and i fancied sitting out with a coffee.

Just an overnight with friends for dinner and drinks around some outdoor activities but nice venue, good food, nice facilities and a welcoming buzz.

We only spent one night at The Mole Resort as we were in the area for a funeral, but the staff, our room in the Manor House, and breakfast, were all wonderful.

We had a lovely brief stay at the Mole. What a lovely setting. View from breakfast was gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and general setting but didn't have time to do much else. Would love to come for longer next time. Staff were lovely. Food was delicious.

It was a first return since It ceased to be high Bullen. I last stayed here 12 years before. Much had changed and mostly for the better. The staff were very helpful and the service was perfect everywhere. We stayed one evening and left very early in the morning.
I needed the wi-fi for urgent work and it was great. We had a drink in the bar and a meal in the restaurant.
The meal was a disappointment.
We both chose the lobster and plaice ravioli as it sounded delightful. It looked very pretty when it arrived but the white blob in the middle could have been anything. There was no hint of any lobster or fish flavour as it had been covered in a citrus sauce that was so strong that it smothered everything else.
Indeed the sauce was so strong that it could not be eaten with the bread (which surprisingly we had to ask for)
My wife had the braised beef which she thought was delicious and would have been perfect if it had been a bit hotter.
I had the sirloin steak which I asked for "rare". Unfortunately it was overcooked and arrived as medium - with only a hint of pink
The chips were excellent
We were one of only 2 tables in the restaurant so the chef was not under pressure and small mistakes ruined our meal.
I did however understand why there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant and would not return.

The attentiveness and willingness of staff was outstanding. The food cannot be recommended highly enough. The refurbishment and restoration of the site (used to be High Bullen Golf Club) is very impressive. My only comment would be for improved lighting and telephones in the rooms. We stayed in two Superior Estate Rooms and were also shown around the lodges which are self catering options, absolutely superb! Thank you to Alex, Roxy and Josh for making our stay so grest

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mole, so much so, we're going back next month. All the staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful, our room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed. A great range of activities are available, & the bar & restaurant served a great range too.

Couldn't fault it here, the staff were firendly and helpful. The place is in a beautiiful location, the pub and food is good and the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam room was amazing. Would highly recommend it.

No problem with a late arrival
Superb breakfast with great views
Will probably return just as somewhere to relax and unwind

Great stay.... Small mix up with the room on our arrival but the receptionist and subsequently manager (didn't take anyone's name unfortunately) dealt with it very swiftly and positively which left a great impression on us as to how the hotel is managed.

Excellent week-end at the Mole resort. The evening meal in the restaurant was of very good quality and all the activities we tried were fun.The archery session was very well organised.
