The front desk was very friendly. We had some special requests and they took care of them before we got there. One request was sent just an hour before we arrived. The wheelchair accessible room was nice and clean. There could have been a little more room to maneuver/turn around in the wheelchair. Had elevators between floors. Nice pool and hot tub.

We stayed at this property a few years ago and were absolutely satisfied with this property. However, this time we had a very disappointing time! We checked in later after 6 pm or later. On checking in to our standard room we found that we had no refrigerator or microwave in the room and was told standards didn't come with them. What was most disappointing was that we could not get the TV to work. All we wanted was standard television channels! We went back to front desk and had help from lady at the front desk but she couldn't get it to work either. The TV was switched out from one of the other rooms which TV didn't work either. Finally, after 9 o"clock at night the front desk called to offer another room. By that time we were getting ready for bed and declined having to move to another room at that point.

I loved the interior decor. The checkin staff was very friendly and helpful. They were asking if we needed anything. Very informative of the surrounding area and shared many great eating ideas.

Our one night stay was great. Staff were friendly, pool and hot tub were wonderful, enjoyed a walk in the nearby campground. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but enough for us. Our only trick was figuring out how to turn the shower on! Lol. Ask the front desk. Has a great golf course close but it was a windy day so we passed. Great puzza place across the street too. Would stay again.

The room was very clean. Nice lodge decor in that establishment. My room overlooked the golf course in back. It was quiet. No kids running wild down the hallways. Overall it was a pleasant peaceful overnight stay.Check in was fast. Check out was good except I could not get a receipt for my stay or bill as I checked out at 6am and clerk said they needed to run computers later and they will email me my receipt which I was not happy about and still have not received a copy of it in my email so I will have to call them.

CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye tacos at Andys Bar and Grill. Yum. Will definitely stay again.

Room was run down, Refrigerator was removed. Marks on furniture. Black mold around ceiling in the pool room with parts of the ceiling missing and partially falling in. Carpets throughout looking dirty and warned.

Could have another light in the rooms. Only light was right in the doorway and one lamp on the desk

We were warmly welcomed, the room was what we expected, the sauna, hot tub and breakfast were perfect ❣️.

The property is generally very nice. It has a rustic theme that fits very well in the region. I gave it a four instead of a five due to upgrade needed in the rooms - no refrigerator and very few outlets for electronics.

We can start with our arrival on Sunday, August 21,2022. My husband went in to register and no one was there nor were they there for 20+ minutes. He screamed, he opened doors and Nothing. He came back to the car and I started calling the phone number assigned to Whitefish Lodge and Suites in Crosslake. Finally, as I was about to hang up someone answered. When I said we were at the front desk and no one was there I was told "it's so late, I hadn't expected anyone." I checked the time, it was 6:28 P.M. Once registered and assured we had a room close to the elevator which I'd requested because of knee surgery and recovery from Covid, we went UP to the second floor and walked 3/4 the way down to our room. I complained when we went out of dinner I told the woman of my request and she said, " there was nothing on your reservation." I had it on my phone and she said they'd see what they could do the next day. Never saw her again.
We had appointments the next day, we're remodeling our cabin, a place that's been in my husbands family for over 70 years and when we returned, again no one at the front desk. We were also attending a family reunion with others who live up there year round...
The beds and bedding were so uncomfortable, quilt was too heavy, couldn't get the darn t.v. figured out, in adequate lighting and no clock!
over charged and paid for a suite for 5, if we stood up like cord wood.
No need to go on. You get the message. Never Again at Whitefish!

Disappointed in the service. Had to wait 10 minutes before anyone showed up to help check in. Did not have wi fi and no one could help figure out why it was working. One lady's response was " i have know idea sorry".
The place was pretty log cabin like but our room was musty smelling. Also you could smell chlorine in the dining area. One night there was a group of loud people at 1130 pm in the front area and i Called the front desk. No one answered for 5 minutes of ringing. Finally when they answered it sounded like they just woke up. We complained of the noise and they said "IH; OK". We will not be going back
Way too expensive for what you get. Very disappointing

Mattresses were extremely firm. Since this is the main purpose of a hotel I weighted it pretty heavily. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel with very helpful staff.

Whitefish lodge is in the beautiful town of Crosslake. I stayed there while visiting a friend who lives nearby. The main lodge area is very "up-north" with a lovely view of the golf course to the north of the lodge. The rooms are comfortable. I thought the complimentary breakfast was adequate. I had some trouble with getting my T.V. to work but the person at the front desk was very helpful. I have stayed here several times and enjoy it.
