I had a very unpleasant experience at check-in. Argentina law dictates that foreigners paying with foreign credit card are exempt from paying IVA (sales tax) on lodging. I presented my US passport and US credit card, and my Argentina girlfriend presented her Argentine ID. The clerk immediately informed me that I would have to pay IVA because she was Argentine. I told her that the law said otherwise, but she refused to budge. I asked for the Manager, who immediately told the clerk that I was correct and did not have to pay IVA.
Continental breakfast is provided, but unlike most places, it isn't a buffet. Coffee and tea are buffet, but nothing else. Service is very prompt, with a tiny glass of orange juice, two croissants and two toast each, along with butter and marmalade. Through the seven days there were two servers. One was very cordial and served us well, with more marmalade and juice when requested. The other was hard to find once the initial delivery was made, disappearing somewhere completely out of the dining area. On our last day, she was chatting with customers at the table beside us, so I slid my empty glass over near her and asked for more juice. She told me to "Aguarde" (Hold on) while she continued to chat about the weather, etc. After approximately five minutes, I took my glass to the refrigerator and served myself. When I returned, she saw me and asked why I had served myself. I explained cordially that she was chatting with the other table, s

I went skiing. The room was so yiny and simple as I haven’t seen in the last 20 years. The beds were old ans small an the TV wroked in colour in some channels only. There were no isonorization panels and we “shared” all kind of noises with people in tge neoighbor roons and in the corridor.

It´s a nice hotel, well equiped and with nice employees.
The only problem was with de internet signal, because the speed was to slow. One day we didn´t have any internet conexion.

Very poor value. Dormitory style accommodations at a premium price. And if you do choose to stay, use the inroom safe.

This hotel is VERY old. The rooms are TINY! And we booked a Junior suite... which is a tiny room with two chairs stuffed in. If you have any luggage, there is no room to store it. It's supposed to be a ski resort but they DON'T have ski storage and your not allowed to walk in your ski boots. So you have to take all your ski gear to the town and pay someone to store it for you. And then you walk there every morning to change your shoes. The place is NOT ski in ski out. It's a LONG walk to the lifts and down a hill that is not fun coming back up after you have skied all day. If your not young and fit, I would not recommend this place just because it's a hike to get to anywhere. They have a couple of places to eat in the hotel, but their "nice" restaurant is closed most of the week. So unless your willing to hike to town again, you're stuck eating in their one halfway decent place and it has limited food options. Oh, and here is the part that really ticked me off. There is no one to help with your luggage. We arrived after travelling 16 hours and there is no bell hop to help you with all that luggage. And You have to carry all that luggage up very steep flight of stairs. Then you have to deal with the VERY rude front desk staff. All of them, no matter what day it was or who it was, they are all just very rude and act like they don't want to deal with you. No one there seemed to want to be there and none of them really want to help you.

Nice stay, nice hotel, staff a bit prickly at times. We stayed in the outside apartments and the beds were just couches although they were comfortable... They could have explained that better on the rental site.
