This is a good value hotel, ideal for the business traveller. It is well located and the rooms have been upgraded since my last stay. Excellent parking right outside your room.

Very popular venue so can be noisy into the night. Room was comfortable and clean. We needed to leave early in the mornings so packed breakfasts were supplied. Great staff. Cons: very worn mattress was very uncomfortable. No hooks in bathroom for hanging clothes or towels

Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge!

Nice stay. Staff were polite and friendly. Convenient location for visiting family. Parking was a bit awkward due to amount of cars there, went at a very busy time (fathers day).

Clean, comfortable room. Nice restaurant with a good selection of food, all very tasty. Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. Can be noisy in the evening due to the bar and open patio area, but soon quietened down when the bar closed.

I stay at this venue regularly. The staff are very helpful and the accommodation is quiet and self contained. I often bring my dog when staying in this location too.

I have stayed at Littleover Lodge on previous visits and so I was familiar with it. Arriving very early, I was warmly greeted at Reception and, as my room was not ready, I was offered the use of the facilities and somewhere to store my luggage. A I had an all day commitment in Derby, I chose to leave my luggage in my car and fulfilled my commitment. I formally checked in on my return later in the day. All went smoothly, my room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was just right. Staff were superb = see you in October.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Seems like a good working atmosphere for them. Wasn’t the fanciest place I’ve stayed but I felt welcomed, comfortable and safe. Also the shower was really powerful! Owner saw how many bags I had and offered me downstairs room but I prefer being up a level.

Extremely clean.very obliging staff Didn’t like the outdoor stairs leading up to my room difficult to negotiate for me especially with luggage although a member of staff did offer to help.Would have preferred a ground floor room.

We dined in the restaurant in the evening. The food was excellent as was the service. One downside was that our room was only accessible by a steepish staircase, although there were handrails either side. I wasn't expecting this and advise future guests to check as it looked like there were also rooms available on the ground floor. For breakfast, we had the included continental breakfast which was perfectly adequate for our needs and we had no complaints about.

As an elderly couple we didn't find this accommodation very easy. It was upstairs, not too much of a problem, but the shower was over the bath with no grab rails of any kind so very difficult for us to use. In fact the bathroom was in need of a makeover as it was looking tired. We also had issues with the electrics, which were attended too quickly but a nuisance all the same. Although booked for two nights we didn't stay for the second night as we weren't really comfortable We were also unlucky with food as the restaurant was having some updating done so wasn't open the night we arrived.

The property met my expectations and was good value for money. My room was clean and fresh, with plenty of items on the hospitality tray for drinks in the room. The food in the restaurant was very good and I would definitely eat there again.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. After checking in we found that the bathroom light switch was faulty which meant we couldn’t see to use facilities. This was reported promptly and unfortunately no other rooms were available. However the manager called called out maintenance and got it fixed. Huge thanks. Great service.

The hotel is nice but we had some small issues during our stay. The room phone wasn't working, so I had to go to the reception to order a pizza (not so good/tasty) and to say that the shower hot water wasn't working (it was fixed).

The room was excellent condition but sadly couple things let the stay down the fact on booking i ticked didnt want cleaning while i was there as wanted my privacy respected to find they had been in while we were out cleaned and chucked food away we had brought in 2nly the numbers quoted for room service didnt work so wasnt able to order in our room

Lovely suite in room 9, big and clean. We dropped on the Elvis tribute during our stay, was good to have live music, got very busy so have to be there early if you want a seat. Food was very nice, good options for continental breakfast.

Dog-Friendly rooms with a newly refurbished bathroom. We were in a ground floor room with plenty of space for luggage and a dog crate. Staff were extremely friendly and brought our dog a complimentary sausage at breakfast time. The food in the bar was lovely - especially the luxurious treacle tart. Bonus of just a 5 minute walk to the fields just south of the new neighbouring housing estate.
