Ladera Hotel is walking distance to downtown and also is located in a quiet area. Food was good and prices were reasonable.

Property is well taken care of, has a restaurant and bar, is walkable to town and the room was clean. The room had a nice balcony facing the street. Perfect for a one night stay.

Besides being conveniently located, the staff (Rodrigo and Marian) were just wonderful and helpful. The staff at the bar and restaurant were also nice.

Nice hotel, worth the price. Helpful staff (they helped book a couple of day trips when I arrived). At most a 4 minute walk to town.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and plenty of options from cereal, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, bread, waffles, juice and varies from one day to next.

The room was very nicely laid out and clean, the front desk and cleaning staff went above and beyond for us, and the air conditioning worked well. The only thing the room could use would be a fridge, but the front desk let us put leftover items in the fridge they had in the office, and even reheated our pizza for us the next day. We would definitely stay there again.

a little bit noisy in the rooms from the traffic of people. The sound and conversations travels into the rooms quite vivid.
Otherwise is nice and clean. Good location, walking distance to the center of town.

Nice, clean, comfortable fairly upscale hotel in the Boquete area. One of the only ones with AC and large rooms. Good breakfast.

Four friends and I stayed at Hotel Ladera for four nights. The hotel was just across the river from downtown Boquete, and had plenty of parking if you have a car. Overall the room was comfortable and had enough room for us and all of our things. The wifi was a little slow but perfectly okay for just browsing the internet. The bedding was nice, but we did get a little warm from time to time. The front desk controls the AC units in the room, so make sure you let them know if you are feeling too warm. We had breakfast each day, and it was either a small hot buffet or made to order eggs or oatmeal. We also had some drinks and dinner at the restaurant. The food was great, and we were really surprised that there was no one at the restaurant during our stay. As nice the overall facilities were, we expected a slightly higher level of service. All of the staff was very friendly and tried to be very helpful, but it felt like most were pretty new to their positions. So dont expect high level service at your beck and call, but you can be sure the staff is doing their best.

Everyone was very nice and welcoming in this hotel! Congratulations! Staff has been trained the right way. Only problem we had were lack of towels. My in-laws room had no floor/rug towel and only 1 towel. Our room only had 2 towels. No hands towels or wash clothes at all. FYI this hotel have no AC, but do have ceiling fans and nice comfortable weather. Guys at the bar were excellent and so nice! Something very important for my in-laws since I wanted them to go back and visit. Breakfast was good too.

The room was fine just had to keep sliding door closed because the sound from the road was loud. Nice little bar on the side of restaurant to have drinks.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, though they spoke little to no English. Im okay with that as Im in Panama and they speak Spanish. We were able to checkin without a problem and to communicate any needs we had. The staff was very accommodating on requests for more towels or water glasses or whatever. There is a restaurant at the hotel which we the at a couple times. Limited menu but interesting. Some local dishes and some American fare that was all pretty good.

Stayed here for 2 nights in December. When we came back from a tour the next day the receptionist told us that we have to pay $25 for a blood stain in the bed cover. I told them I was not going to pay it because we were not aware that we did it, we do not have not cuts or did anything to cause it and that they should have showed the proof to us. Worst thing was they did not replaced the bed cover since it was in the laundry as they said. No extra bed cover in that hotel? It was cool that night and I have to wear my sweater to sleep. The second night there was a brown out and they just provided a tiny lamp and there was no water even to flush the toilet , It's good they did not charge at all the $25 which I will not pay anyway. It was a disappointing stay..

Ladera is a nice hotel with good accommodations. We rated the room as just OK because all the rooms face Calle Buenos Aires, and receive some road noise as a consequence. The sliding glass patio doors for each room do not seal well, and allow the road noise to penetrate the room. If you are a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs to have a good night's rest. While Calle Buenos Aires is not a busy road, there is traffic until late at night that could keep you awake.

Hotel Ladera is in a beautiful location. At night you can hear the frogs all singing from the hill. It was very clean, with a new bathroom. At times you lost water pressure and the hot water. But you must remember you are in a mountain town. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location and comfort of this room are outstanding. If you want a good, clean, very comfortable room for a few days, this is as good as it gets. It is not luxurious or fancy and it does not have all the comforts of home, but it is very clean and has everything you need. You have to go to the restaurant to get ice, which is not as easy as getting it out of a machine close to your room, but that is a small sacrifice. This is a very good place to stay in Boquete.

Excellent staff eager to help in every way. Special thanks to Recardo. He deserved a pay raise.

Enjoyed our stay. Landscaping around hotel very colorful. Hotel approx. 5 years old, very modern, European style hotel with patio dining and attractive bar. We did not eat in hotel so can not comment on food. other than the included breakfast, They had your choice of three. The fruit was good, the eggs fine, was suprised the ham was a slice of Deli sandwich ham , the cheese offering was also the presliced cold, odd.. Not TechnoGeek enough to figure out TV control but didn't ask. Unless you are real walker you need car, hotel is on opposite side of river from town. Bakery beside bridge has good stuff for light lunch.
