WiFi was practically non-existent. LOUD construction right out our window. Half of the electrical outlets weren’t working. Housekeeping knocked 3 times before we left for the day - as if to rush us.

All the staff were really helpful and friendly. I got a mail before the staff explaining building work was going on nearby but my room was on the ground floor facing the car park and I heard nothing. Ok, not a great view but I’d take that over quiet. Managed to get the last parking space and it is tight getting in but doable in a small/medium car. Open kitchen is great if you don’t want to go out and a decent spread for breakfast. They gave us a map with 2 suggested walking routes of the main sights and managed to do both in half a day without hanging around or using public transport so that makes it a big plus for convenient location. Would happily stay here again.

This boutique hotel is perfectly sized and the service was excellent. my room was roomy and comfortable, including the best pillows I’ve had in Europe. They have a fancy coffee machine in each room, very upscale, and by European standards the bathroom was sizable. The reception and wait staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They helped me figure out the German transportation system, which is not simple for a foreigner, and got me into my room quickly even though I arrived early. The breakfast is excellent, and one of my favorite things about the hotel is that they have self-serve options in a refrigerator, including healthy items, like salads, soups, and yogurt. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well maintained and has some "cute aspects" but it is overall basic. The bathroom did not have many basic amenities. They also only gave me pillows and a cover for just one person in a two person bed. Service was a bit cold. I also would have liked my door to have a lock. Germany's hotels are just more basic, but I would not say this was a 4 star hotel. It is more 3 star.

It’s less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. I enjoyed the gym and the Laundry facilities. Only issue is that they are building something across the street so that construction started before 7:30am.

The hotel room was spacious, stylishly furnished and clean. Very comfortable bed. Roomy, hot shower Staff friendly and helpful. Relaxing lounge and bar area. Excellent breakfast with lots choice. Location ideal. Few mins walk from Hauptbahnhof. U-bahn stations close by and buses in streets beside hotel.

This is a lovely city hotel. We had a great stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. The breakfast was good and the location perfect for the markets and sights. Highly recommend. There is building work going on outside the hotel but with the windows closed we didn't hear a thing and it did not impact our stay.

There’s so much to say about this hotel experience. First, this hotel is in one of the best areas of Hamburg. It is located near shopping and walking and tours. It is only a five minute walk from the train station. The rooms are more than adequate and the hotel staff was very friendly. That being said, this was an extremely frustrating experience. We checked in and realized that our heating towel rack did not work and reported it right away. They seem concerned and promised Someone would come up and check on it. That never happened. We then reported it for the three days we stayed here. Nothing was done, and there was no concern about it from the staff. We were offered a free hot drink for our inconvenience. We decided to stay another night and we were told we could keep our room rather than moving everything we owned. 15 minutes later, they told us that would not be possible. It was extremely frustrating. During our stay, the elevators were non-functioning and we were on the third floor. Normally that’s not a problem but my husband suffers from Parkinson’s so it was a little bit difficult walking up and down the stairs for two days. Is lovely as this hotel but they nickel and dime you for everything. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the hotel rooms. There’s a note that they have these amenities at the front desk. They offer cookies and coffee in the lobby but everything has a cost to it. Based on the options in this town, this would not be our first choice.

Great for an overnight stay. Friendly and welcoming. they offer a soup plus bread and free salads for only 6EU in the evening- great if you can't be bothered to go out for dinner!
