Beautiful property and room. The pool was awesome and well maintained. The 3 a la carte restaurants we went to all had delicious food and decent servers. However, the remainder of the hotel service really lacked. We asked for ice in our room twice and never got it (you can’t get it yourself). There was an instance of a cleaned room but they forgot to replace all of the towels then it took 4 hours to get more. And the most frustrating part was the attitude of a great majority of the bartenders. They seemed inconvenienced that we were asking for drinks as simple as a beer or rum and coke. One bartender yelled out that he hadn’t received any tips all night long. This is a grat and tips included resort! Aside from this, we had a lot of fun just relaxing at the pool and beach.

My room had an excellent view and the service was great. There was some items that needed repair around the property. The elevator by our room did not even display what floor the elevator was on. Also one whole morning the property had no running water. Since the views and service were good it did not severely affect my vacation but they definitely need to spend some money on repairs in my opinion. Another person I spoke with said there phone in their room did not work and another said their air conditioner never got as cool as they liked.

People travel to a country to experience the culture, not a smattering of the culture amidst a barrage of some other culture.
Dont tell me you have a Jamaica night. UNACCEPTABLE.
Why do you have restaurants to showcase international cusine but not a Jamaican resturant??
The guise of catering to international clientele is weak.
Why is a hotel in Jamaica serving food that is readily available to international in their own backyard, with a smattering of local cusine, and poor quality cusine at that.
What made this experience worse is this hotel brands itself as a luxury resort.
As guest left they were sent off with a Spanish song that only the front desk manager seem to gleefully enjoy in a manner that was slightly below bafoonery.
Overall the food left much to be desired.
The entire experience smacked of neocolonialism.

This vacation was found by searching “ adult-only” and “all-inclusive”. Those two things used to mean the words they say, not at this resort and apparently Expedia goes along with this charade.
Our 1/3 of the resort was adult only and we were told we could use the restaurants and facilities for both sides. Which was not true we were never able to book a nice dinner at any of the nice advertised restaurants our entire 8 day stay, apparently these are reserved for people on the grand side or “priveleged” guest who were tricked into buying time shares and have the actual all-inclusive treatment.
Nice facility, pretty clean and it was about 50/50 finding a nice or rude staff member, alot were not helpful if you weren’t tipping. My advice is save it on the back end go to Sandals where those words mean something and it will cost you the same in the end. All that being said if you want a 30 spring break vibe its great for that and maybe small groups of friends instead of couples looking for romance.

The only complaint that I have is all the mosquitoes that was in my room. However, I didn’t mention it to the front desk. But I did mention it to the house keeper the day before I checked out, and she told me to tell the front desk. I didn’t see the point since I was checking out the next morning. But I know for a fact my issue would have been resolved. They are very thorough and accommodating.

There was some form off comfort but it is over rated . The hotel has a lot of staff especially what is called the privilege club is a scam. They almost scam my wife and I $60,000. It’s just terrible. Food and dining options was good . Rooms had roaches

Everything was excellent

The staff was really nice and helpful. The only “bad” thing was the food. I’ve previously stayed in the Grand Bahia side and the food was so much better. If the food quality and options were good, it would be a complete 5 star.

We had some problems at the hotel, the elevator was not in good condition. My fiancé and I stayed on the fourth floor and for two days we were without an elevator. There were cockroaches in some restaurants, the water on the beach is beautiful but it is impossible to swim because it is very shallow and you cannot go beyond the rock. The adults-only section requires urgent renovation. I would not stay at the hotel again. More attention is needed in some aspects. I spent money and didn't enjoy it.

Food was very bad. No options. All restaurants were taking forever to deliver a tiny portion of food. And the bars were under maintenance. Very terrible aminities. The only thing was working is the pool

I guess you are looking at booking this hotel by looking at reviews - and maybe like yourself a visit to the Carribbean is a BIG holiday, a great deal of travelling and that extra cost that you can persuade yourself to part with for the luxury. I'm a seasoned traveller whitin Europe and the med, but this was a first in Jamaica for a friend's wedding then to stay at this resort after.... My advice BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Room flooded with dirty water from above, damage to my property (hotel accepts no liability for damage), came down with severe sickness (d&v) after ingesting water in room packing at 2.30am. very poor customer service.
Mediocre shows - only last 45 mins too, indoors.
Staff not prepared to serve unless tipped - will skip you
Cockroaches and wasps everywhere
Constantly hounded harassed and offered drugs on the beach
Lifts NEVER work
Not ever near a 5* resort it's na 4* at a push.
HOTEL OFFERED ME $75 hush hush money to stay quiet about food and illness - but I refused to sign waiver saying I will be prosecuted if I mention anything....
Not worth the 2 days bed bound - disgusting management

The employees were great but the hotel is poorly managed. We ended up getting a room that was not what we paid for and it took them two nights basically 3 to fix it. Each night they told us to come back to the front desk at 8pm and we would have our new room but each time we arrived the staff was confused, finally the third night at 10pm after more confusion we got our new room. The Room service only arrived one time out of the 4 times we ordered it. No option to get ice besides room service. Buffett location changed Daily but there was no itinerary or information to inform you unless you called the front desk or went to lobby.

"Thank you for creating lasting memories during my birthday week. My husband and I, originally from Puerto Rico, currently live in Massachusetts. We felt like part of the 'Familia' in Jamaica. The island's beauty and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We will highly recommend your resort and can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Jamaica, for sharing your 'one love' spirit with us."

I love the restaurant staff, managers, chefs waiters/waitress.
I dislike the slow unfriendly check in, check in staff act like they are being annoyed and bothered by guest checking in. No smiles no real interaction, refused to honor Expedia Vip, refused to treat wedding parties professionally
Deputy Manager Carlos promised to fix issues twice never did anything. Poor tasting food it is more suitable for diabetics and people with high blood pressure. Loss of hot water and no apologies or notice.

I didn’t like the fact that we arrived at night on Sunday. Monday morning woke up found a leak in bathroom from ceiling light told front desk , Said someone will be there to repair it later in day was told it was patched only to find that night still leaking . Four days later Thursday we checked dnd leak still not fixed had to keep towel on floor every day . On my way to check out and the leak has not been fixed in that room. My whole stay, we’d stayed in that leaky room. Worst vacation ever. Also the privilege club made us go on a tour for 30 minutes and receive 120 voucher for souvenirs but after 90 minutes we told them enough and were not interested and asked for our voucher but was told that we did not hear the whole presentation. That was 90 minutes we will never get back. The privilege team are lying about giving out $120.00 gift cards. A totally waste of my time

This location has gone down. This used to be my favorite spot to visit in Jamaica but I think this was my last visit

Huge property with a lot of amenities.
Adults only is a quiet area, with everything near you and a lot of staff that is always there if you need anything.
The beach is nice and clean. Water is super clean. You can see a rocks or a fish that is deep in the water.
Entertainment is different each night. Different themes for each evening. Part of activities outside, part of them inside. Something for everyone I would say.
Overall it is a place where you want to go and spend a few relaxing days.

This was our 3rd time in Jamaica, 1st time at this resort. We stayed on the luxury side. It was beautiful! I was not a fan of the beach. There was a lot sea grass. The pool was great. The staff was wonderful. The food was good, a little too upscale in some places. Could have had more variety. The buffet was okay. When we went food seemed cold and some was hard due to how long it had been sitting out. We would definitely stay here again.

My room had roaches in it also there was a moldy smell throughout the hotel. The roof of the second floor caved in walking down to the restaurant. They was under construction while I’m trying to vacation. You could barely get a good reservation at a restaurant and when you went they was so unorganized. The price I paid for a relaxing weekend was NOT worth it.

Last time, i gave a 5 starts. This time, i wasn't as impressed as before. I had to change my room 2 times which was very inconvenient because I had to pack everything twice to move. But i appreciate their customer service, except for one front desk employee who wasn't friendly.
