Information on hotels.com could've been presented better. There's parking, but you have to pay during certain hours and it's first come first serve. There's luggage service at 3rd party luggage hold centers--not on the property. Checkin on hotels.com is at 3pm, host says it's 4pm in a separate message. Hotels.com says $70 is collected at checkin, hosts says it's already taken care of. The place was very cute. There was something wrong with the electricity in one of the rooms, so the kids ended up just sleeping on the pullout couch (which had a lot of crumbs) b/c the lights kept twitching. Overall, it was a nice stay--just some minor hiccups. Location was great. Felt pretty safe. Host responded quickly to any issues.

It wasn't what the pictures showed but still super cute and clean. Enjoyed that it was easily walkable to all attractions. Will definitely recommend to others!

My kids and and I had an amazing visit!! This property is simple and efficient. Everything you could ever want to do in the Big EZ is right at your finger tips. This is a historic property and not fair to compare to a regular hotel. We stayed in room 8. Comfortably sleeps 4 adults. But could easily accommodate more people depending how comfortable they are with each other. I just got home and I am ready to go back. Would not change anything. Perfect place for the French Quater.

I hate having to write negative things but I did not feel safe in my room. The deadbolt did not catch on the door frame which had been routed or rotted out. There was no point in calling for an "emergency" fix because what is needed is a replacement door frame and deadbolt and that wouldn't happen on a weekend. Other tenants did not respect the quiet hours, and the courtyard floor kept flooding even though there was no rain. Otherwise the suite was pleasant, and certainly roomy enough.

Where do I start?
First of all they dont have any parking, and when we called them asking where we could park, they asked us to find a public parking (the closest parking is 5 miles away and we had to uber back to the facility)
There was no front desk or reception in the facility and you have to get with a code and find everything by yourself!
There is no elevator in the facility and We had to carry our luggages up using the very steep stairs.
Inside the apartment was very old , smelly and dirty!
I found a pair of fake lashes on the bed sheet .
The toilet paper holder just came off as soon as I touched it.
We could not stand that place and called Expedia and explained the situation, they called saint philip management and management told them they are not able to refund.
Long story short; it was not a place to remain so we left and had to eat $680 which saint philip or Expedia never refunded us.
Stay away of this place and go somewhere else and save yourself tome and Money !!

St. Phillip was wonderful but the parking was a terrible experience it cost 300.00. Plus the booted my car because of an error on there part which cost another 50.00. Would love to come back but will have to definitely have to check on alternate parking will not go thru that again

Great location. Nice room. Balcony sold it.

Given a different location than booked, gave wrong address, no heat, furniture covered in stains, freezing temperatures, threatening calls all night by property and couldn’t sleep. Scared due to threats of property owner saying they were showing up in middle of night, continual harassment by property, threats, worst stay of my life. Expedia told me to call police due to property harassment and threats.

I would never stay here again. For the high price of $1700 for 3 nights for 3 rooms was a rip off. Mice, coach roaches and contractor's going in and out during weekdays. Ac units didn't work and 1 room only hadd hot water for 1/2 the stay. Based on this i won't be using Orbitz for booking room's.

Just what we were looking for! Great location, charm and character! Morning coffee on the balcony to start our day! We did find parking on the street not too far away

It looks better in the inside than it does on the outside. Very clean.

First, the code for the front gate that we were given was wrong and we got locked out twice. Second there was no cushions on the couches in the courtyard and the fountain was broken. Third the fridge in our room was broke and there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. When we asked the staff for help he was very rude to us and shut the door in our face. So not stay here!

The lack of dining space could be helped with clean table surfaces outside. There weren’t any knives for food prep. It would have been nice to have extra blankets. The door to the bedroom was nearly unable to be closed due to damage to the latching device.

We loved the old building

We couldn't get into the property with the code given to us. While it was the right code, we never learned the secret for how to make it work and it could sometimes take up to 10 minutes to figure it out. The room we booked was not the room we ended up in. It was very different from the photos. The blinds on the entry door were broken which wasn't a good sign from the start. The door to the main bedroom looks like it's been chopped up and is exposed with sharp, broken wood. The water pressure was an issue in both the kitchen and the shower. The refrigerator door is on backwards making it difficult to use. We appreciated being able to leave our bags in the office on our last day, however, it was unstaffed and we weren't the only guests given the code to that space. It felt unsafe, but we didn't have any other option. We also had a weird incident when we returned from a night out and we could smell gas. We never used the stove and oven, but we came home to upset neighbors and a visit from the police who "traced" the scent of gas to our room. It turned out that our burner was indeed on, but we weren't responsible for that. We cannot figure out how that could have happened unless someone had entered from our shared balcony.

The place was in poor condition. Blinds were broken, door was damaged. Overall it needs some serious TLC. I expected much nicer for the price. Definitely would not rent again.

Pictures incredibly misleading. Pictures show clean modern renovated historic space near French quarter.
Instead we found dark, dingy, and outdated. Even my kids, who are excited about just about anything, were left wondering if we really had to stay in the hotel.
We chose instead to find another hotel nearby to sleep in for the night. We chose to waste the money and feel better about where we slept, than stay at this residence.
We found dirty floors, dirty walls, stained sheets, ripped furniture, and struggling A/C.
All this for a “three star” hotel?

The AC and the fridge did not cool! Good location to French Quarters. No parking and I got a parking ticket for parking in unmarked loading zone.

Hotel was unstaffed. I can not even call it a hotel, it was more of an unattended worn down apartment building. Definitely by no means a modernized or boutique hotel. Even the driver that was arranged to pick us up stated while dropping us off “doesn’t look like the pictures does it.” The room was dirtier than any I’ve stayed in. We have 3 kids 8,10,13 who were laughing as they found more and more garbage around the room. Outlets were missing covers with wires exposed. Unpainted walls with very large cracks and tape all over the wall (blue painters tape and scotch tape). Used soap boxes on top of the mirror. The couch was unusable. It was completely broken and you could not sit on it...not that you wanted to as the cushions were ripped up and it had cigarette holes all over it....overall it was disgusting and we ended up just leaving on the first of a 3 night stay and switched to the Omni Royal....which was amazing. If you want a college like, hostel like apartment...then this is for you. If you want to sleep and shower in a clean environment look elsewhere.

Both sofa beds were broken.
The mattresses were terrible, in a really bad condition. We had to sleep on the floor!!!
When we noticed it, it was late and no one was available to help us.
There was trash on the kitchen from previous customers and the entire apartment was very dirty.
The only good thing was the location and the balcony. Other than that I would not recommend to stay at this hotel.
When we claimed about the beds they refused to give us a refund for the inconvenience.
See the pictures attached and do not reserve here if you want to have a decent bed.

Amazing location and great amenities with full kitchen. We loved the old charm mixed with updated kitchen and bath features. Room heating could use a serious upgrade as the old charm leaves rooms chilly in winter and with high ceilings the current system left us a bit uncomfortable and cold. They have a nice contact-free check in system for Covid. We really appreciated every thing else about our stay. I would highly recommend.

Pictures are deceiving! It’s very old. You can feel holes in the floor under the carpet.

Property did not disclose that there is no elevator in this building. We had the apartment on the top floor, and I have severe asthma. The shower head was barely threaded and had little water pressure because it was all shooting out of the side. Basically no water pressure in the kitchen sink either. Messaged property and never heard back, so we cancelled our remaining nights and left. Do NOT recommend.

Our stay was great. The building is older than dirt...the photo of the front of the building is a tad bit misleading. One of our rooms was obviously newly remodeled and wonderful. The room with the balcony was clean and comfortable but old-er. I think the photos of this particular room are a little misleading as well. Overall, the two nights we were there, was just fine. Make note that there is NO elevator and a ton of stairs (if your room is above floor 1)...so be prepared! Location is good and definitely easy to walk to French Quarter destinations.

We showed up and there is no free parking u have to feed a meter your entire stay $3.00 an hour and we was on the 3rd floor and there are stairs up to your room and they did not have a baby gate my 1 year old was with us but the guy in the office did give u a new room but

Wr loved this property. Very private and quiet. This building is old and has a ton of charm. Full apartments with kitchens made our stay so much easier. We plan to book again in the future! This isnt going to make people looking for a perfect chain type hotel room, but id youre looking for a more authentic location in NOLA, you cant go wrong here!

This hotel is being converted into a B&B. We stayed with them on Day 4 of the new owners, and they staff were all super sweet and went over the top. The hotel is very old, and the hallway and stairs looked it, but once inside, it was very modernly decorated and FULL of amenities, with extras like a full bottle of champagne and OJ! The Presidential Suite, or Grand King Balcony, was HUGE! We slept 5 people comfortably. The full kitchen was glorious and the shower was cool as heck. Unfortunately the A/C was not working well, so we used every fan they supplied us with. Hopefully theyll get that fixed soon. The balcony was excellent, huge and we even took a nap outside on the lounge chairs. Being just off the main drag, I expected more noise, but it was extremely well insulated because we slept with the patio door open all night and slept well. With the location, soooo near everything, this will be our new favorite place when were in town. Thanks!

The hotel was locked. We could not get in. No one was there to answer a phone. I expect a full refund.

What I loved about the hotel wass the rooms where great! They had plenty of space made you feel like you where home. The hotel was near alot of great places to eat. Bourbon Street was a 5min walk. The staff was great to us! Would go back to the same hotel for sure!!

Excellent stay. The staff were very helpful and the area was amazing!

Loved the space, the atmosphere, the location--we had a comfortable quite that felt like a little studio, not a hotel room. It was quiet--only once did we wake to loud neighbors (that's a plus, in the Quarter). We loved the staff, who were friendly and helpful but never overbearing. Basically, the only drawback was the low water pressure, and that was, in the grand scheme of things, pretty minor.

Great location with a lot of charm. Courtyard is amazing and beds were comfortable. Room had a kitchen but the stove didn’t work. We only had 1 night we were going to cook something but couldn’t. Kind of a bummer because we had to throw the food out. Location was fantastic!! Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Loved our stay!
