Construction of 1st floor, no laundry available, no acess to elevator near pir room, limited parking, room cleaning was make the beds, never even opened coffee maker to see that a pod had been used. Pool not use able, very dirty.

You need to make it VERY CLEAR when booking the hotel that the minimum age is 21. On the Hotels.com app it's buried under "special check-in instructions" Turning up to be told you are not able to stay is not a nice experience. We have also stayed as a family here and the breakfast isa hit or a miss. It seems to be acceptable to say, "sorry there's no milk today?" or "the pancake machine is broken." When you are paying a premium for breakfast as part of your room, having basics like milk is expected.

The property was clean and the room was a nice size. Two things that kept them from 5 stars: (1) there was a 15 minute wait to check in. By the time we checked in there was already a ticket for $56 on our windshield. Super aggressive! The hotel said they would take care of it but who needs that aggravation on vacation? We parked I. The hotel’s lot! (2) they were very cheap with supplying towels. If you got swimming and have two wet towels for two people, and then you need to shower, a woman needs two towels. One for hair and one for body. Only letting 2 more towels is just not helpful. Don’t make me have to yell at my husband.

This is a very nice hotel in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. Our room was large and very clean, with comfy beds, large bathroom, a sitting/working area, small dining area, and a small coffee station. The coffee station had a kurig coffee machine, small sink, microwave, and a refrigerator. This allowed us to store/prepare simple quick meals when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. The hotel has a hot tub and a pool, all very well maintained and very clean. The towels are provided at the front desk. Full breakfast was provided with our room in a large breakfast area. The hotel is located within convenient walking distance from the bay-front street with shopping and dining options. This allowed us to leave our car at the hotel and walk to the Kona bay pier, and shopping centre without worrying about parking the car on a busy street. The staff of the hotel was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located approx 15 min from the Kona airport. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone! Thank you Holiday Inn and Suites for making our stay in Kona easy, safe and pleasant!

The property was advertising ocean view room however they were under renovation. They did give us refund back but was disappointed. The AC wasnt working properly for couple of nights because of renovatjons. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome with good variety of options. Location is really good as downtown kona and shopping areas are walkable. Parking is affordable and de ent. Overall a good hotel and would love to stay there once again.

The free breakfast was great tasting with lots of variety - both hot items, continental, cold items and a variety of beverages were provided. The room was clean and updated. Parking stalls are a bit tight if you have a full sized vehicle. They weren’t fully booked because of renovations on the 3rd floor, so we were lucky I suppose. There were a lot of stalls available during our stay. Overall it was a nice stay. My family and I loved the continental breakfast in the mornings. And the staff were friendly. I would stay here again when I visit next time.

From the time we arrived until the time we left the staff was extremely friendy and helpful. The hotel and grounds were kept very clean. Only complaint was the noise the last couple of nights we were there. There was a large group of younger people up late partying and making an excessive amount of noise. Both nights I notified the front desk and nothing was done to resolve the issue. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Very close walk to “downtown” Kona - there’s a little shopping area, restaurants, the ocean. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. This was the perfect spot for just a night prior to our day of departure after we had been touring the whole island for several days.

This Holiday Inn was well worth it, Free Breakfast, Friendly Staff and very clean. Pool Gym Vending Machine. Rooms was very big with 2 beds and a pullout couch/bed. Sink refrigerator microwave. Reserved parking!

Refrigerator was non functional and was needed to keep medication cool. Had to store the medication with staff downstairs. For the extremely high price charged for the room it was expected to have the appliance working!
