Very simple room that was comfortable and clean. We had stayed in the main building previously and that building has so many antiques and personality. This part of the hotel is much plainer and nothing special in decor. We really enjoyed the morning coffee as the weather was nice and we could sit out on the communal patio area. Excellent location close to everything downtown. Front desk staff were very friendly. Parking can be difficult as there is very limited hotel parking so we had to street park at times.

I really enjoyed this property. The place was built in 1903 and it was a great experience. Love the history, rooms are spacious and very clean an absolute treat. Highly recommend this property

Location and the building were great. However there's no breakfast provided.
There was no coffee available when we went to get a cup in the morning. We had to wait for staff to make more.
House keeping came to our room late afternoon to change towels while we were trying to get ready for dinner.
Main air conditioner wasn't working we needed to us a noisey window unit.
Overall it wasn't bad but somewhat
disappointing with a lot of little things that shouldn't happen when your paying a premium

There was no elevator because it is an older property . So as a senior citizen , transporting luggage up two flights of narrow stairs was difficult. The young girl at the desk did help with the going up part but it was difficult for her too. For this reason I would not stay there again but others might not find this a problem.

Dundee Arms is awesome. I highly recommend it. It was easy to walk to all the nice places in downtown Charlottetown. The staff is very nice. Their outside deck was very nice and relaxing.

We were in the non-historic annex, which has no elevator but three floors, which would be difficult for some people. The room was large, nearly a suite, with a half-size fridge much larger than a mini.

The bathroom doorway in Room 28 is only 6 feet high. I cut my scalp by walking into it in the night. Seriously unsafe.

Beautiful old charm. Rooms are clean and look redone. Would have been better to have more options are breakfast, only had coffee available. Other places might be better suited when traveling with kids. No elevators, so a work out to carry luggage up flights of stairs.

Character and charm. Room’s comfortable and tidy. Seemed old. Creaky floors, pipes noisy in walls.

This property was a really interesting place to stay. All the rooms have a historical feel and we loved walking the streets of Charlottetown from there. A small fridge and/or ice machine would have been appreciated.

Great location. AC unit is loud

The location in downtown was great, we were within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean and had space for our family of three. Sitting on the deck reading a book while the sun set capped the day off for us.

Find room in room 26 for a small fridge

Although dining was conveniently available at nearby restaurants it would have been an added plus to possibly have a continental breakfast option onsite.

The room was very clean and the beds really comfortable! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! We will be back!

The vintage look of the room ,the simplicity of the key and chain to lock the solid wood door the patterns and wallpaper to recreate a Victorian style experience a refreshing change from the taupe and vanilla of many hotels, motels of today

This was a charming and convenient place to stay in Charlottetown. The staff were wonderful and welcoming, the rooms were cozy yet spacious and the cleanliness was exceptional. Highly recommend!

An older property and yet cosy. Convenient for walking down town. Air conditioning was like a jet taking off but was offset by the most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Best sleeps. Staff were very friendly. I liked the motel like setting. There was not restaurant and the bar was more like a kiosk. The patio was splendid though and so were the gardens at the front. The area was peaceful and felt safe.

So, the lobby was charming, very old and historic . However our room was in an annex building, looked to be built in the 70s. On the third floor with no elevator-all the inconvenience or Europe with none of the charm! In addition the recycling basket was filled with garbage, including a full head of cabbage.

Spent 3 nights with my wife. Lovely inn with good room amenities. AC unit a bit loud, but did not detract from sleep. If you are light sleeper, be well aware. Ton of dining options within a 5 minute walk. Easy and free parking. EV J-1772 charging units available in the back parking lot.
6.0
Poor parking areas, very disappointed that they would not allow the guests to use the outdoor patio areas unless alcohol was purchased at their bar and could not bring food to the patio to sit outside with food unless purchased from a local restaurant

The impact of Covid is obvious. It is no longer a desirable destination. An excellent Restraunt and Bar are now a beer fridge (Poorly Stocked) and no Restraunt. The Dundee is nothing more than a roadside motel. Very sad.

Nice place. Close to the event we came to see as well as within walking distance of the town.
