Overall, the staff was very pleasant and courteous. I had an enjoyable experience. The property is gorgeous. However, upon arriving, the evening supervisor, named Patricia, was very sarcastic, indifferent, and rude. She was unwilling to make accommodations for my group, which consisted of my cousin, my one-year old son, and me. She blamed Expedia for the miscommunication and did not try to fix the problem. When looking for a resort in Roatan, I specifically looked for a family-friendly resort. We all had to sleep uncomfortably in a matrimonial full sized bed, with no microwave to warm bottles for my baby. The next day, a supervisor named Britney was more concerned and sent us a warmer to warm bottles. I had a very bad first impression after traveling more than 8 hours with my family to reach the resort, but I had fun and the overall staff was very nice.

Third time here and never disappoints.

Beautiful beach and amazing staff, but this is not a 4-star resort as advertised. Minimum amenities available and the all inclusive option is not all inclusive. There are restrictions on alcohol brands and certain food/restaurants have extra charges. We were denied access to food at the beach club daily as it was only open to people from cruise ships there for the day. Overall I would say this is a 2.5 star resort based on my extensive experience traveling the Caribbean. Staff was great though!!

No shuttle was available to pick us up from the airport! The room was dirty! Salt water only when you shower!!! The buffet was mediocre and the staff was super rude!!

After paying the most expensive package I was so disappointed that in three days I couldn’t eat fish in the restaurants because they ran out of it ! Unbelievable specially since Roatan is an island , entertainment there also is really bad , the hotels next to it were always doing activities and had music for their guest . Too boring for my taste

I liked the variety of food, many of the waiters very attending, the beaches are beautiful, they have several activities that are good; the pool was beautiful.
I didn't like that they do not control the flies, it was disgusting how many flies were over there; knowing that there is several ways to control these bugs that carries germs, bacteria, viruses; they should worry about controlling them.
Also, for the amount that we paid; they should have better furnished rooms with more updated and new appliances; there was dust all over the fans and closet doors; the shower faucets were rotten, also the coffee maker was rotten, and many other things were not exactly at the height of the prices they are asking

The place is beautifully maintained and decorated. Its staff was amazing! Our room could have been better especially when you consider the price that we paid. The food was pretty darn delicious except for the dinner. There were lots of options or selections on their menu for all three meals. Breakfast and lunch were always pretty delicious but there was always something off with dinner, the meat was either undercooked or overcooked and the seafood (Fish and lobster) was almost always overcooked. Their Ceviche and Seafood soup (Conch soup or sopa de Caracol) was pretty amazing though! With that said, my family and I had a blast and we sure to return soon! Thank you, Yari, Marina, William (bartenders), Wilmer (Towels and Water Sports Attendant), Yen, Patricia (Front Desk), and Charlie, Heliberto, Marvin, Yohanna, and Gladys (Servers) for your attention during our stay.

I loved everything about this Resort the food was amazing and very authentic! The staff were all very nice and welcoming not to mention very attentive! This Resort was also a non smoking Resort which I really enjoyed! They also had COVID antigen testing on site and it was very convenient no issues with getting the results in time for our flight . I absolutely loved this place and can’t say enough good things about it ! This is the one you need to go to trust me !!!!!!

Food choices were very limited for an all inclusive above 3 star hotel. Pool area was clean, pool water was cold. Villas were very clean and well kept. Besides the food choices, hotel met expectations

Amazing vacations 😀👍

The property and the staff were absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that if you are in the villas close to the checkin desk or Balam, you can hear EVERYTHING! The resort directly behind our unit played loud bass heavy music from 8:30-11:45 pm every single night, so it was hard to get a good night sleep. If kids or groups of adults were in the pool in the front of our unit, it sounded like they were inside our unit with us.
I would definitely stay here again, but we would request to be in a completely different area of the property.

I booked a tower villa which was advertised as having an ocean view - it did not. One guy at check-in was rude, but the rest of the staff were lovely. The grounds are well maintained and the pool was very relaxing. Food was pretty good.

It was a beautiful resort. The staff was very kind and attentive, the food was good and the drinks were pleasantly strong(no complaints there). The beach was amazing, nice and clean and the coral reef is just a few minutes walk down the beach. I would definitely come back. Only down fall but nothing major was that they were re renovating the Las Sirenas pool so that was out of commission and that was what our room balcony over looked so our view wasn’t the best and the noise wasn’t ideal but we weren’t in the room much anyways, but we did get to see the finished product before we left and it was beautiful. I would recommend this resort.

The Mayan Princess and Las Sirenas Resort is one of the best hotels in west bay, located walking distance from the beach, 3 restaurants and 2 pools.

Great beach location, excellent food. We went diving with 'Mayan Divers' almost every day--loved it. There was a short power outage several times, not a big deal. The a/c broke one day, it was quickly fixed. We expected a laundry and a gym, but there was neither. Overall we were very happy with our two weeks, though the daily cost of the all-inclusive stay was on the high side all things considered.

Resort was OK but nothing great. As far as other all-inclusive resorts that I have been in the Caribbean, this was at the bottom. I don't mean for this to be overly harsh, but it is what it is. I did also wind up paying more for this resort than any other but that could have been due to being there over the Christmas holiday. No swim-up bar, rooms are pretty basic with little amenities, and no in-room mini bar. Food was OK but nothing great and not much selection. A la carte restaurants were pretty basic and making reservations was a pain like most all-inclusive resorts. Using a key for the beach towel gets old. If I were to stay in this resort again, I would not choose all-inclusive if one can do that - it wasn't worth it. The dive shop and its people are great though.

We had a great vacation and enjoyed the Mayan Princess. The staff was very helpful. The room was immaculate. I'd highly recommend this resort.
