My go to place. Does not disappoint.

Staying at Villa Vager was such a great experience. The buildings themselves were gorgeous and nicely renovated with amenities. The included breakfast was cooked and served by the hosts, and it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Greece. Homemade jams, local bakery goods, freshly cooked eggs - the jams were so good we wanted to bring some home with us! The hosts were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations on where to go, based on what we wanted to see.
Villa Vager has a really great medieval (but modern!) B&B feel to it. There were a couple of other more hotel-style places to stay in the area that we had friends at, but I'm glad we stayed here instead. It was so much more personal and comfortable.

Had a verry nice stay while visiting family in the area. Beautiful property, delicious and plentiful breakfast (loved the home made preserves). Very comfortable accommodation and amenities. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful.

As my wife says, it is like being part of a story book. This hotel was originally a house built in 1843 and the family that owns it did a superb job of renovation. We stayed in a triple room for family of three. It is like staying in an ancient castle with all modern amenities. The host family were very friendly. Complementary breakfast was great. We sat outside to watch the beautiful view of the village below and mountains. Would definitely stay again.

The building is nice and especially the living room. Beyond that, the price of the room in relation to what the hotel offers is extremely high. Basic lacks of the room I stayed in, had no mini bar, no wardrobe so you could hang clothes (shirts, jackets, etc.). Also, the room had an extremely small window with no view at all, for sure is not recommended for claustrophobic people

Lovely inn in the mountain area north of Tripoli. Hosts were very welcoming. Food excellent. Bed comfortable and the bathroom modern and well appointed. We had a delicious home cooked meal one night and couldn’t have been happier. Would definitely return

The only downside was that we only made a reservation for one night. The property, owners, town, and service were terrific. We will be back again and would make a trip specifically to stay again.

Such a nice property with amazing views. Walk right into town and great for a relaxing stay.

A beautiful view from our room, which was spacious and would have been comfortable EXCEPT in mid-30s C and higher the air conditioning was a single plug-in fan. The heat was almost unbearable. The second huge issue was the dog barking. The village has plenty of dogs who enjoy barking which the Villa can do nothing about, of course. But the owners also have their own very large (lovely) dog who barked outside our window throughout the night. We didnt get a decent nights sleep at all.A few minor issues: the protocol around breakfast seemed to change every morning, which I found very awkward. One day it was waitress service at our table, the next day self-service, the next, back to waiter service by the owner, and so on. I found it a bit unsettling. The final problem was the unsubtle up-sell from the owners as soon as we stepped through the door. A room upsell, the massage service, and the 4x4 tours all introduced in the first few minutes. Its an excellent location and the hosts are pleasant.

Very nice and relaxing place with a fantastic service. The owners were incredibly helpful. Unfortunately the surprisingly hot weather made it hard to sleep without AC. We had to buy a table fan to be able to sleep at all.

Enjoyed our stay at Villa Vager immensely. The room was beautifully appointed with dark wood panels and beams, and stylish furniture and a very generous and comfortable four poster. Slept fantastically well. The view from the shuttered windows was amazing. The reception areas were also very accommodating: cosy, with a log fire, plenty of books, magazines, board games, TV and a drinks cabinet- everything you need for a great night in, after a hard days exploring.

We booked a night at Villa Vager at short notice not quite sure what to expect, but what a wonderful surprise! The room was charming as were the hosts who welcome you to their beautiful home, the result of 4 years' devotion. Tips on dinner options were spot-on, the view over the valley in the morning is unforgettable, breakfast is splendid and the impromptu cake for my wife's birthday a typically attentive surprise. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to book the best room you can afford, you won't be disappointed.
