Much better than expected. Room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Entertainment with Johnny Bird was fabulous.

Longstreet hotel and casino is a fun quirky establishment where you can stay in comfort and explore Death Valley. The owner Jim Marsh is a History buff and named the property after an early local resident and has collected many artifacts from the time and displayed them here. There's also a pond with many animals and sculptures.

The staff at the Longstreet Inn are so incredibly nice and helpful. I had a 5-hour flight delay and did it arrive until 4am. The person working helped get me a room and only charged me for one night (since I arrived so late for my 2-night stay). I would absolutely stay here again when I visit Death Valley (which is only 40 minutes away).

It was off the beaten path for our trip. Worth it.

Was simply amazing

Good stop for a night of rest. Room was nice, but fan noise made us not turn on bathroom light.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet all night. It would have been nice to have a small microwave or coffee make to have some hot tea or something in the evening without having to go down to the lobby or restaurant.

I had an amazing and relaxing time. The place is not like the Ritz Carlton, a little dated but super clean and a welcoming environment. The pond and little chapel in back are super adorable and a couple of small animal pins located on the side. Their animals (bull, donkeys, goat, sheep) are all very well kept and maintained. I was a little disappointed that the steakhouse was closed due to lack of staff but the diner was delicious. My salmon was well seasoned and not fishy and my husband’s steak was so tender. The casino was small but had action and little ve entertainment at night. The singer had an amazing voice. I wish we had more time to spend here. Definitely coming back.

Good location near to Dead Valley, service open 24h (reception&market). Good restaurant with live music.

Longstreet is an oasis after several days in the backcountry of Death Valley or the Mojave Desert. Decent food, comfortable beds, and a shower. What more do you need?

Overall good value, considering location to the entrance to the park, overall service was pretty good, the restaurant service was slow due to a lack of staff

Great stay! Room was huge and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our meal in the diner was great, especially the ribeye. I highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a nice clean stay at a great price .

In the middle of nowhere, a nice old hotel with oasis and an old pool. Feel like a cowboy and play casino at night with free drinks. Except 1960 style..

Rooms are very spacious. Rate is good value for money. Lots of extra seating. For people with back issues this is important to allow changing positions often. Mattress is older and needs replacing now (106). Don’t know if they rotate and flip them often. Maybe that would help ? Pond out back is pretty. Lots of statues and art surround. Nice area for a short walk.

We stayed here to be close to Death Valley and it was very close. We were able to get our laundry done, have our dog with us in the Casino and while enjoying an excellent meal in the bar area. The grounds are beautiful with an outdoor pool and hot tub very clean however the pool is pretty cold Everyone is friendly and we loved the museum would absolutely recommend You can also get gas here everything you need !!!

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Death Valley National Park. The Park is very close. Longstreet’s is super clean and the staff goes above and beyond making your stay very comfortable. The entire place worked very well for us, we were never bored. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable bed, clean, excellent selection of pillows. Walk in shower was spacious and towels white and fluffy. Last restaurant closed at 9:30 (45 minutes after we arrived) so we had to drop our luggage and hurry to eat as order cutoff was at 9:00. Meal was very tasty and our server was very helpful and accommodating. Overall a decent place to stay

Great location if you’re visiting Death Valley National Park and they also have gas with Nevada prices.
Other than that the hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. They also have a casino and a bar/ restaurant. You can also have a stroll outside as there’s a little lake and a swimming pool. It was too hot so I didn’t use any of that. Overall I super recommend and I wasn’t expecting anything that nice kind of in the middle of nowhere.
My only complain was that I tried to order the take away pizza but the lady was extremely rude when she said no because they were closed. I understand that, there’s many kind ways to let people know that other than expecting everyone to know. I was actually referred to them by the super nice lady at the little supermarket inside. Other than that everything was amazing!

Amazing staff and value. If you’re a gambler they will treat you well. Clean room. Wasn’t sure at first but booked based of other reviews I booked it and was not disappointed. Great proximity to Death Valley park entrance.

What you get for the price is perfect. Good food at the indoor restaurant and a friendly waitress.
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. However, that is perfect when you just need a place to stay. Only eyesore was the pool. Could need a cleaning.
Still, a good value for your dollar spent.
Would recommend.

This place is surprising. At first glance not too impressive but the grounds are amazing! An oasis in the desert!

I liked that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower was pretty clean. It was a nice location and I would stay here again. I also drove about 7 miles down the road to ash meadows national wildlife refuge for a short hike the next morning after I checked out. The office reception staff were very helpful and friendly which I appreciated having not been here previously. Also ended up paying around $35 for some gas out front. This is obviously optional. Your self parking is included.
