A newer hotel with a great staff and a great breakfast. The soundproofing is a bit light (I was by the elevator) and it’s about 15 minutes to the tourist district. The walk to the tourist district is lovely.

an excellent hotel with it's own character making it unique
also easy to find on the edge of the old San Sebastien

We loved the room because it was very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. The only disappointing aspect was the staff and service. We were ignored upon arrival while the staff member continued a conversation with someone behind the desk. Eventually he told us to wait a moment (no greeting) while he organized his papers. When we returned in the evening, he only greeted us when we first greeted him. The same happened in the morning with a different person when checking out. The staff members did not make us feel welcome, but everything else was good.

Small rooms, we could hear other guests and water sounds

It's not well located, there is nothing of note nearby, no bars, no shops. The bathrooms are unventilated and the rooms hot. So despite the friendly staff who were lovely, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We paid a ridiculously high price for this hotel room and it was probably one of the worst we have stayed in.
- The hotel room was dirty when we arrived with leftover food on the nightstand, bugs in the bathroom and garbage next to the bed.
- The room smelt like mould and urine after the exaggerated use of detergent had settled. Yes, it actually smelled like old urine next to the nightstand.
- Both nights we were woken up by noise from a dog, the housekeeping and people in the hallway early in the morning.
- All products in the breakfast buffet that are supposed to be stored cold, were stored at room temperature.
- There was so much noise from the employee at the breakfast that we could barely hear ourselves think.
- Although we asked for a quiet room, we got a noisy room right next to the road. Consequently, we could not sleep with the window open and the air quality was really bad.
- The bathroom was rusty, smelled really bad and the shower leaked water after just a short shower.
- The mini fridge suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night, so the food we had stored there actually got broken.
Avoid for all costs.

The rate of the hotel was too expensive to single person. There were no single room and single bed when I reserved for my stay around that area by Expedia. Therefore, I had to pay the fee of double single bed for my stay.

Great hotel in a quiet area. Close to the bus and train stations and only a 20min walk to the most popular places in the city.
Very comfortable bed and brand new rooms.

The hotel is basic but clean and in a walkable location to central San Sebastián. It has a good breakfast and all of the staff I dealt with were helpful and friendly.

Good value for money.

This was a great spot for our three day visit in San Sebastian. The room was small but clean and comfortable and there was a parking garage in the same building. The old town was just a 15 minutes walk away.
The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was yummy!
The only complaint is that the room could have had a bit more light.

The staff was extremely friendly our entire stay! One of the ladies called the airline and delivery service about our lost luggage and helped us research when it would be delivered! It was so incredibly kind and eased a lot of stress. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Sebastián.

This hotel is all you need in terms of a place to stay for a couple. By saying that it is barebones with queen beds and a knowledgeable and helpful staff. The decor of the hotel is not great but not annoying. For anyone who does not want to walk 25 minutes to the beach this is not their hotel. There are obviously other options than walking but you would need to find those.

Great location - everything within an east walking distance. Our dog was made very welcome - comfy dog bed waiting her arrival & 2 dog bowls! Room clean & fresh, comfortable beds. (Didn’t have water or tea/coffee making facilities) there was a fridge - so we were able to buy water/juice at shop.
We ordered food from the menu advertised in the room - although we booked it for 7.45 it was just after 10 when it arrived. The food was nice though!!
The bathroom during the evening had a smell coming up from drain but it did fussiest after a while.
On the whole we enjoyed our stay! Hotel us quirky & staff friendly and helpful!

Great location by the river. The city is very walkable and I was able to reach everything on foot. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room was not well cleaned. We mentioned it to the receptionist and she apologised. Looks like the cleaner was busy that day.

This hotel is very clean and looks very new. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I think the hotel could use better management. For example, a new clerk (his first day) on arrival was unsure how to get us a parking in the garage, or on another day they were out of cups that go in the rooms. It's too bad because it's a really cute hotel and the breakfast was good. And all the employees were extremely nice. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Concha and the Old Town. We are walkers and enjoyed the stroll the hotel, but if you have issues with mobility, you may want to get something closer to the beach.

Great place. Easily recommended. Only real issues were that wifi was very, very weak on my first night there and because of the unusual structure of the building I had to get the elevator to 2nd floor then go to another elevator and go down to 1st floor. Great location too

The decor is cool and fun. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was nice and helpful. It's an easy 25-minute walk to the old city, following the river. Very pleased with my stay.

The hotel had a name change between when we booked and when we arrived so I was looking for a different name and because this hotel is on a corner of a fast paced artery to a highway we panicked when we missed it and actually drove into the neighbouring police station trying to Figure out how to turn around. That being said it was a good stay. The rooms were a little tight and the bathroom is not a full on bath. They were fantastic for travelling with children so that made up for it. They had a baby pack they gave you for free: a cot, a stroller and a baby bath as well as a infant wrap. We hadn’t travelled with a stroller and this was life changing to find out they had one there. The location was excellent- 20 minutes to old town and close to anything we’d need! The breakfast in the cafe downstairs was above and beyond with a hot food counter. It was a really cool meeting and hang out space downstairs and parking was easily found onsite. We had a good stay!!

went to watch the running of the bulls. the location requires abit of walking to the old town. But it was clean and value for money.

APPALLING HOTEL. DO NOT STAY HERE.
When I could not check in due to a lack of ID, they refused to refund my booking, leaving me without anywhere to stay and with no money.
UNSCRUPULOUS AND IMMORAL. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

This is a new hotel so the general condition and comfort was good. Breakfasts looked good also, though I didnt have them as Im a light eater. The location was a good walk from the main town centre. Certainly do-able (apparently theres a bus also) but if you want to pop back during the day, or before going out at night, it might be a bit of a nuisance. I had half-hoped to extend my stay by one or two days more, but they not only have no coffee/tea making facility in the rooms, but they also have this really bizarre policy of not letting you even TAKE coffee to your room either! They said it was to prevent coffee stains on the bedding!! Being a solo traveller, all I wanted to do was to sit quietly with a coffee and check my mail in the morning at the desk in my room, before having to shower and get ready for my day. I was allowed to drink it in the public lounge area in the basement (no privacy, and difficult to concentrate with music and guests happening). One would think that spilling coffee on a sofa would also be more disastrous than a stain on a sheet? And how do they prevent other stains on the bed sheets? I ended up not extending and moving on as I felt uncomfortable. In spite of my own experience, Im rating them higher as this important issue for me might not worry most people. Overall its a nice hotel shame about the rules and regulations!

friendly staff, give us information on where the best places were to eat and what was happening in the city. Only 20 minutes walk to the resort, nice, clean and quiet hotel

I was surprised to find the location of the Hotel easy to arrive at from the motorways. The fact that the Hotel has an underground secure parking is excellent. A bus to the center of the city is only 150m meters from the Hotel and goes every 7 or 8 minutes and costs only 1.40 euros so one can park ones car and forget about it.
