I didn’t like how there wasn’t any soap to wash my hands or conditioner/soap when I showered, otherwise I would have given an excellent score.

I will never stay at this property again due to kids playing soccer and screeming while using pool. Noise it terrible. Adults drinking talking loud untill 5 o clock in the morning just 30 yards from my doors. If property could control noise it would be good place to stay. Very bad if you think you are going to have relaxing night or any part of a day.

Parking is just off the street so not very comfortable with it. It is only 2 blocks from the main street so lots of amenities fairly close. There is a locked gate to access the property - which is good but suggests that such a precaution is needed.

This was just a one night stopover on a drive to the USA, but I would definitely stay here again. Nice layout of the apartment, and great air conditioning. Big balcony was nice for lounging. Very comfortable beds, and super quiet at night, so we slept like babies. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

The room has enough space for 4 people. It has a strange smell once you’re inside. Its okay but not great.

Marena is a very clean place! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pool was perfect. The rooms are perfect except that even though we did not have a kitchenette, a small fridge to keep our water and beverages would have been much appreciated. We were there for 10 days and drinking warm water/beverages is not good. Another thing is that when we arrived we were told it was a no smoking place but what we didn’t like is we were in room 218 and on the floor below us was a smoking area and the smoke would reach up to our balcony. As we don’t smoke, we really did not like that. They did provide us with a coffee maker two days after we arrived which was very much appreciated instead of going to the local OXXO every morning.

Great hotel . Staff very friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and secure. The small suite adequate for longer stays and location is about 30 minute walk to middle of golden zone or 15 to the marina. Lots of buses nearby.

This property is fabulous. We had a suite this time but have also stayed in a room. We liked having a fridge and place to cook breakfast. Pool was great. Nice location. Would be nice if parking was more secure but we parked right outside the office with no problem. Had stuff in the car. Very modern and spacious. Nice sitting areas outside. Very quiet when we were there in late October. Might fill up on weekends with buses if people. Nice overnight stay on our way south. Can easily walk to the Main Street and grab a cab to the malecon area. Also nice restaurants within several blocks. It is located on the south end of Mazatlan in the beaches area. A couple blocks from the ocean. Have stayed twice now and would again. Good price for what you get.

Check in desk staff was incompetent. Would not initially allow me to check in because they said they did not do business with Orbitz even though I had confirming email and text.

Excellent location within walking distance to beach and many eateries, shops, convenience stores, 24-hour urgent care (approved travel COVID testing), and car rental locations all right down the block and around the corner. All this yet far enough away from the main boulevard’s noise and traffic. Very clean property and helpful staff.
