Jenner Inn is one of our favorite places to visit…. Very clean and quiet…. Love being so close to the water…

The room is very nice and esthetcally equiped. Very good bed, nice view on the river and the sunset

Quiet little place near the water. Perfect for our trip up the coast!

The unit is actually a small single-family house with both front and back yards. It has excellent privacy. Renovation has been done probably few years ago. A lot of dead ants were found in one of the bathrooms. Sometimes, we can't find any front desk staffs to help us or ask questions. Overall, it was a good stay.

The view is amazing! Enjoyed looking out over the river. The room is beautiful and comfortable. Very nice bathroom with heat. I slept well.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the next morning. Wanted to relax in the chair while reading a book, but the upstairs guests were heavy-footed, so all I heard was loud stomping. I checked out a full hour earlier than planned. Apparently, there is no carpet in the above room so sounds insulation is poor. Will not come back to Jenner Inn unless I get the top floor.

Issues with the WiFi. It was unstable and did not work most of the time. The main lounge did not open till 9am and there was no coffee, just some muffins.

We stayed in the Heron room and awoke to an amazing view of the still water and white herons feeding across the river. We could sit and enjoy that view with some coffee. They have a keurig, so we enjoyed being our own coffee as well!

The staff could’ve explained a little better where the unit was. You had to drive up the road and on the opposite side. Was expecting a private balcony.

We had the Pelican Suite which is nice! Has a separate bedroom, a small kitchen and a bay window that overlooks the Russian river. The only problem is you hear some road noise from the highway, which is right where the front door is. Other than that, it was a nice relaxing stay.

This is a very beautiful room with the name "Milky Way", I am in love with this room. Beautiful view from the balcony of the Russian river where it flows into the ocean. The staff is very pleasant and courteous. I will come back here again.

Beautiful property right on the water

The property is so charming and remodeled, right on the river. My only regret was not spending a little more for a better room with a view. There are walkways between the rooms and no public area or shared space to enjoy the outdoors and amazing, natural surroundings. The room was very cute, great bathroom and comfortable bed (could use better pillows) The staff was excellent and made sure we were easily able to get in after hours. The little resort/reception area is full of history and charm.

Loved the property, but the Starlight room was very loud with people walking past our room at all hours. There is no access to food after 4pm. The kayaking experience was excellent!

The toilet ran all night and the refrigerator had a leak.

Relaxing stay for a short getaway. The room we stayed in had a decent view of the river and quiet from neighbors. Room is located on Hwy 1 so you could hear the cars driveby. Decor was older. Easy short walk to the river and local coffee shops. Pup friendly!

A cozy place with a large window looking over the water. The most comfortable mattress I have ever experienced.

Stayed in the Fort Ross Suite. We were very comfortable during our 4 night stay. Beautiful view and clean. WiFi works great. A great place for home away from home. Staff are the best!

It was a Classic bait and switch
We thought we were going to have an ocean view
But we were stuck with no view at all in a small nondescript room.

Fabulous views of Russian River from a small room and adjacent patio. Updated bathroom very clean. Wonderful staff members, especially Maria at front desk.
Will return soon

Lovely view. Nice to have a private deck.

Bed in Pomo Creek room had a clunk / thud every time you sit on it or roll over. Other than that it’s a great place to relax!

Kind of funky room with sloped floors but kept up very nicely and everything worked. Walking distance to River’s End Restaurant.

The sign said “office 400 yards” pointing down street. I would have appreciated it if the sign (or the office person on phone) would have mentioned it as being on Other Side of street. Maybe it’s just me. Idk..otherwise property and stay was Excellent. Beautiful. I’d suggest Starbucks coffee pods, please. TY.

The only thing we really liked about this property was the view from the deck, it’s absolutely stunning. I seen in the description that it says it’s “rustic” but, I didn’t realize just how rustic is was going to be. Very much in need of some updates, and smelled terrible. The price that they charge per night does not reflect the quality of the cottage, far too expensive.

This inn was such a great find. The rooms are each unique. We had the Fort Ross suite and it was more like an Airbnb with maid service. The library and game room were wonderfully inviting.

Stopped here last minute. It is in a beautiful spot, the lady at the desk is very nice and helpful. The only dinner restaurant right next to the hotel didn’t have anything for kids but there were restaurants within like 10 minutes from the hotel. There’s a great coffee shop across the street that gets busy but is very good. They also gave us a little set of muffins and fruit, which was nice.

Nice, helpful, and welcoming staff. The Waterfall house was in an excellent location and very spacious with nice views, quiet and separate from the other cottages. Surrounded by gardens. Staff was kind to let us check-in early .The down side: The stove did not work well and the fireplace was out of service, and the kitchen was limited regarding pots and pans and other items. Bathrooms need a good spring cleaning.

Lovely view but the bed is soft and the pillows thick. Nice staff- quiet getaway

Perfect little get away for our anniversary. Room was clean, but had a weird smell in the room, but we opened the windows and it went away. We had the Starlight room and it was beautiful, overlooking the water. There is no patio or personal balcony for this room but it was still perfect. We stayed for 3 nights, and there was plenty to do all around. Starlight room has utensils, cups, plates, a fridge and microwave.

My 2nd trip to Jenner Inn, just a peaceful and delightful as the first time. After a day of beachcombing this is the perfect place to unwind.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location in a perfect small coastal town. Person who checked us in even pointed us to a great restaurant in town that was one of the best meals of our trip. Will stay here again, one day!

The parlor has fun eclectic decor and historic photos- a fun place to relax and check in

We loved our stay at the Grey Whale. As others noted, the restaurant isn't open and the breakfast offering is a real disappointment. I recommend not waiting for the office to open for the 'continental breakfast' (there isn't coffee in the office either). Just go across the street to the coffee house or bring your own breakfast.

Relaxing and enjoying the scenery!
