The hotel is operating under difficult conditions in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and the lack of potable water. Still, I was surprised that they did not provide any written or posted instructions/explanations about the quality of water coming from the tap and the very limited level of services that guests could expect. The hotel also appeared to need a thorough cleaning and refurbishment.

Planned a three night stay but had to leave early because Hurricane Helene was headed to our home in Florida. Staff was very helpful in getting a refund. Loved the shuttle to downtown. Great location. Hope to go back’

This is always my go to hotel while staying in Asheville. It’s close to the blue ridge parkway for easy access to hiking trails. I love that they provide a free shuttle service to the downtown area. Pet friendly and very clean. They offer free pet treats for the furr kids. Great complementary breakfast options and delicious cookie and tea bar for the evenings. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Asheville!!

I should stay by saying that this is my favorite chain however, this location is an anomaly. Counter staff extremely impatient and rude. As I was checking in the person behind the counter set my expectations right by saying: “this place is a dump! Needs a lot of maintenance that is not happening”…that person was in the middle of a bitter argument with a disappointed guest. My room (208) smelled musty & moldy but “there were no other rooms available”. I also had cockroaches come out of the sink and generally in the room. Neither of the 2 outlets by the bed worked, I notified the front desk and was told someone is coming to fix right away! No one came for the duration of my stay. When checking out, the tall African American lady behind the counter was busy cleaning with a broom by the front door and proceeded to yell at the lady ahead of me and myself: “just leave your keys there! I don’t need to be there to check you out!” I replied that I needed something else and her reply was “then you’ll have to wait!” Se continued cleaning the floor then went to the back (I guess to place the broom somewhere), stormed back and said “what do need?”…

I recommend this hotel very much. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Very easy to access from the interstate. I will definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel itself was really nice, the staff was good and the breakfasts were decent. The only thing is the location is a little weird. It is not right in the River Arts District. It is a little bit outside the area and it is in the parking lot of a strip mall. In order to have an access door on the side of the hotel you had to park in the shopping center parking lot. It was just a bit odd.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the whole place was clean, staff friendly and pretty good value overall. The courtesy shuttle operated by the hotel was a lovely surprise and really useful for getting to downtown and the river arts district.

This was a girl trip with my sisters and friends. One of the best experiences in staying at hotels anywhere! From the greeting of the staff at the check in area, the amenities for everyone, including the furry kids!!! Clean comfortable beds with lots of pillows, rainshower. The buffet breakfast was great, with all types of hot/cold options, cookies coffee tea at the lobby all day, lovely place. Indoor Pool was awesome. Nice gym, shuttle transportation friendly bilingual drivers, nice cleaning staff…Im trying to think of the cons, and I honestly can’t think of one, well, maybe that the chocolate m&m cookies went too fast one day! Lol! Restaurants and shopping, including grocery store walking distance. But seriously, you get more than what you pay for! Will stay here in my future trips to Asheville! Love, love, loved it!!

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!! Fantastic stay and a great “first impression” of Asheville. Front desk staff members were excellent. Room was very spacious, hot hot showers and comfy bed. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of options. The stars of the show were the complimentary shuttle drivers, who drove us back and forth to the downtown area (5 minutes away but not exactly walkable-so glad we had this option). Do not hesitate to book this hotel-made our trip even more memorable because everything went so smoothly and they clearly are focused on customer service!

Everything was great. No electrical worked in the bathroom, ice machine on floor broken. Otherwise, convenient, easy to park, quick checkin, very nice staff, great for what I needed it to be!

Nice location close to the River Arts District and downtown Asheville with ample free parking and friendly desk clerks. However, the room was disappointing as there were stains all over the carpet, the shower floor pan was really dirty and there was a dead bug in the bathroom upon arrival. We’ve stayed here before (a year ago) and the room was fine but given our recent visit, I don’t think we’d stay here again.

The door that opens on the shelf was broken and it was hard to access our refrigerator. The water in the gym was all out and not replaced the whole time we were there. I liked the staff but the person at reception seemed impatient to get rid of me when she had a line, but I had questions I wanted answered.

The hotel itself was great. Clean, convenient breakfast included, cookies, coffee, and tea available for free all day long. The pool is very small but a lovely temperature. There's a strip mall at one end of the hotel so you can get essentials and food within walking distance. Shuttle service is fantastic. The only drawback was that one night there were people jumping around in the room above us all night. Hotel employees talked to them 3 times and warned them they would be removed from the hotel if they didn't quiet down, but nothing was ever done about it. We had a 10 hour drive home the next day on virtually no sleep. It would have been nice if the employees had called police officers or even the hotel security officer to rectify the situation.

Upon check-in we were informed our only option for a 4 night stay was a room on the "pet floor." We did not have a pet or even know about a pet floor. The floor has a strong odor of sanitizer covering other odors. Carpet was worn, bathroom floor not clean. Our option was to move to a different floor, (room only available one night) then move again the following day. In the room they moved us to (king suite w/ sofa bed) the sink did not drain, and highway or air conditioner noise was very loud. The next morning we checked out. I put average on the staff and service. To be clear, the check-in staff were not friendly, did not communicate thoroughly, and tried to push off any lack in information onto expedia. The staff the next morning were communicative and helpful.
