Absolutely lovely hotel to stay whilst in Memphis. Easy access and walkable distance to Beale street.
Rocky at the front desk was amazing very welcoming. When we got in from a stressful day of driving and car issues Rocky directed us to an amazing bar where we could get some food.

The staff was friendly, but the carpet in the room was dirty, the linens were not comfortable, and the pillows were awful. The first night I didn’t get any sleep because it was so hot. They have the thermostats in the rooms programmed so they can’t drop below 68 degrees. When we first got in our room, it was 81 degrees and somebody had to come in to fix it. It took an hour to cool off the room.

Hotel was very nice, very clean and within walking distance to everywhere.
Best regards to Rocky who made the best cappucinos each morning.

Could be a nice hotel in a great location but lots of renovation work underway which meant no restaurant or bar or any food option other than to go elsewhere
This was amplified by Hurricane Francine which forced us and 99% of people to remain indoors whilst we were there.
We contacted the hotel to try and cancel 36 hours prior as it was pretty unsafe driving conditions but they said no any any refund.
Combine the hurricane and their current state of refurbishment I thought they may have made an exception but no.
Staff were pleasant and helpful on arrival.
Will not be returning..

Nice hotel in a great area close to Beale Street. (10-15 minute walk). Parking is next door in a garage using cell phone check in process. Hotel is undergoing MAJOR renovation which includes entire lobby so check in is a little confusing at first but fine. Staff is great, very nice folks. Hot hot water in shower (wonderful!)

The hotel was great, clean despite the amount of work they had going on at the time of our visit. Rocky was super helpful and told us the good places to eat and drink. We would stay here again.

The room was very nice and comfortable. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations. A nice hotel that’s going to be even better! It’s next door to the baseball stadium. We could watch the fireworks after the game in the reflection of the building across the street. Within walking distance of Mississippi River, the Peabody ducks, and Beale Street

You were able to attend the show at night in the hotel for free.

It was ok.

The lobby is being refurbished at this time. Lots of construction. The food available was therefore minimal. You may want to confirm the construction is completed before booking.
The location is very good, just far enough from Beale St to avoid noise, but close enough to easily walk. We could also walk to Sun Records.
The room was fine, though more lighting in the room would be appreciated. It was quite dark.

Our stay was unfortunately whilst they were renovating the property, that beong said the room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I would like to see would be that the parking be either included or reduced for hotel guests. Definitely a keeper.

I absolutely loved this hotel!! There was some construction for the new bar and restaurant but I can’t wait to see the renovations!!!

The air wasn't working in my room or the second room. The third room was a double queen. So I got charged for premium suite and ended up with a double queen room. When I asked was I going to get refunded the difference in price. I was told no becuase I already paid. That is horrible customer service. Me and my family will not be back.

Stayed here for 4 nights in July on our first trip to Memphis. Very friendly staff. Check in/Check out were very smooth. Received a sweet welcome gift package. Housekeeping done everyday and room was clean. Only issues were bathtub not draining well and desk phone not working. Wasn't a dealbreaker and didn't take anything away from our experience. Highly recommend.

Yes for sure! I wanna say you guys did a fantastic job both in running the house with professionalism and reviving the historical Scimitar building! Cheers! The blend of modern amenities with the rich history of the place created a unique and memorable experience. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure every need was met with a smile. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Memphis. The view from my room was fantastic as I could take astonishing Timelapse photos for the whole night till dawm came up. I highly recommend Hotel Napoleon to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in a historic setting.

We had a 2 night stay here as we headed south. The location is fairly close to the usual touristy things and easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. There is the odd homeless person lying on the footpath in the area and a few abandoned buildings. The hotel offers breakfast options but we chose to eat out. Our room was well appointed but had such a noisy air conditioner that we had to turn it off at night. The room also had quite dim lighting. We were able to park in the building next door - with a bit of mucking about. It would be a bit of a hassle if you didnt have a US sim card with phone options as you need to call a US number. You also have to add credit card details to pay - the system wouldn't accept one of our cards. Fortunately we had a back up. The cost of parking is more than on the hotel website and on hotel.com website - this should really be updated. Two nights (with no in and out for us cost $34 USD). The girl at check in was not able to give us any information on the parking other than call the number at the gate. We think the hotel should have more information available to guests on this at checkin as the website does say parking is available for a fee and they direct you to this park - as the staff park there.

The rooms are a bit small, but they are clean and modern. The staff is very friendly, especially Rocky, the coffee shop barista. Wonderful beverages available at the Coffee Shop/Bar. The building itself is a beautiful part of Memphis’ historic downtown architecture. Main Street and Beale Street are within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this as a great property.

Awesome place to stay. Great location Friendly staff

Great staff and well kept property. A convenient location that is negatively impacted by the excessive traffic noise in the wee hours (at least on the west side of the building).

The building is very unique, and possibly historic. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was listed as having queen beds but the beds were doubles. The bar downstairs was terrible; we had to throw our drinks away.

A good hotel but was hard to park as private parking next door with no agreement to park so had difficulty getting in with our UK phone number! Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Wasn’t keen on the breakfast but maybe a British thing!
