American man, Colombian wife, 2 American teenage boys: Overall the apartment was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Very clean and within walking distance to the entire city and beaches. Nice pool within the complex as well. It was quiet at night even though you're in the heart of the city walls. A few minor miscommunications with management, but nothing that impacted our stay in a negative manner. Overall, very happy with this apartment.

The property itself is very beautiful. The apartment is awesome and actually the staff who help you stay there as as well as the porteros (doormen) are awesome. The floor is made of large rocks so, it's dirty and it's also on the ground floor so it's common to have various ground floor issues. Overall, the property is a 4.5 out of 5 stars. What is really bad about this is their visitor policy. They are run by a hotel, which requires you to actually tell the hotel if you're going to have friends over, have your friends submit their IDs then wait for them to approve them then send the IDs to the doorman. It's not a simple process and it can ruin a vacation if you're hanging out with friends, meeting new people or hiring others to cook for you or anything like that. This made the stay really restrictive and I was disappointed. I never would have booked the apartment for this trip if I had known as I had plans to go out, have people at my place and dinner parties. I wish the company had made this clear in the booking.

Property was great location staff was friendly. No one spoke any English to assist in communication. I also did noy recieve a tour of the Property so I didnt know where anything was until a few days in. I was also refused access to the pool but becuase of the language barrier I couldnt understand why. Overall I would still return.

The reason for this trip was a family/friends wedding. The city of Cartagena happens to be a destination wedding sort of place, but it’s filled with lots of awkwardness and inconveniences (not only the apartment experience but lots of places in the city) The apartment is advertised with two rooms and equipped kitchen. The rooms have no doors (both are wide open). The second floor room has no bathroom or toilet on the second floor (you have to go downstairs and the room downstairs have no doors (awkward!!). The second bathroom downstairs is tiny (no space to even place toilet paper, much less toiletries!!). The kitchen is not equipped with basic utilities i.e. no cutting board, salad bowl, no oven baking/broiling pans or racks and much less kitchen towels. The linen supplies were also limited (towel/pillows or sheets/comforter supplies). For the price per night, location and convenience, this place is over rated. The city per se was expensive, restaurant portions are small and pricey, coupled with not so friendly or customer oriented staff in the city overall. We stayed 4 nights (not worth the price and inconveniences). I wouldn’t recommend this place. Hope this helps

The property is in a great location, beautifully decorated, just minutes away from restaurants, bars and all the cool night life. They had smart tv's so you can link up your phone to the TV, play music, the walls are thick, A/C is perfect in the humid weather. The gym is really bad, almost no point of even having it. Pools are nice feature but never really used them. What I didn't like about the hotel is the staff (primarily the security guards) their "tipping" policy and wound up having to pay them on a nightly basis, they seemed to never be satisfied and I had to leave the hotel within 3 days of the trip because I would wind up paying double for the hotel. Imagine booking a hotel for $150 per night and then "tipping" security guards $10, $20, $30 nightly on top of that. Whats the point?

This is a brand new apartment with a loft which will comfortably sleep 4. The location is great, within the walled city but not too close to honking taxis or church bells. Short walk to Santa Clara and other landmarks.
