Great hotel near Tulum Centro area. Had near was also the Super Aki supermarket where lots of tours get picked up. The hotel had everything we needed and was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful

Generally a good place to stay.

Don't be fooled by the pictures you see. This hotel is terrible. The fact that this hotel is rated 4 stars is an insult to 4 star hotels. All the metal and glass in the bathrooms are rusted. The main glass in the front is rusted. There are no bottles of water given. It is a shame this hotel is associated with the Marriott name

Antonio is great! Attentive to needs and any questions you may have. He made us feel very welcome!
However, the property pool isn't pretty, and I mean appealingly clean. Also, the pillow covers had dirt on them. When I removed the cases, the pillows were worse! Only stayed for one night, so I didn't make a complaint to see if that would be helped, but other than that, this is a decent place! I would stay again if they fixed that, and for the service.

Nice little boutique hotel. No bells or whistles, but a great deal and location.

Very very nice staff. Good AC.
Very stingy with soaps, shampoo, breakfast, and towel exchanges. Our room seemed unclean when we entered. Stains on pillows and blankets plus the floor was dusty.
They offer overpriced tours and rentals compared to the ones in the city.

Great option for a short stay. The staff members were very friendly and gave great local restaurant recommendations. Also, the onsite restaurant offered a delicious breakfast for only $9 usd!

Stayed here during down-season so nice and quiet and had the poolside to myself! Everyone on reception was helpful and friendly and spoke English well! I didn't even think to check but there is no elevator at the property, luckily I was on the second floor and I could manage my bags.
The rooms are nice and big, with spacious balcony and I like that the vines and plants provide some natural privacy on the balcony.
Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, good amenities (strong AC, hand wash, shower gel, face tissues, complimentary water, fridge, safe etc).
Only thing I would say is some parts of the room look a bit worn e.g chip in the wooden door, rust on shower head…but this did not take away from the stay I don’t think.

The staff of the restaurant were not too friendly 🙄

The room was spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the location. The hotel is a couple of blocks away from the center of the town. So it’s quiet yet easy access to restaurants, taco stands, bank and diving options.
I would stay here every trip.

There is no elevator although it's a 3 floor hotel with a rooftop restaurant.

The stay was mostly good. Disappointed to have no coffee in the morning. There was a breakfast available after traversing 7 flights of stairs for about US$7. Our A/C was broken. And it was very hot. The plunge pool was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. The water in the shower was hot or miss. Either none at all, with largish brown particles- or just fine. We will not visit Tulum again for a number of reasons. Not just because of the hotel. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here, such a reasonably priced hotel with big spacious room and clean facilities. Just round the corner from all the lovely bars and eateries. Would definitely return!

Very nice Boutique Hotel. Conveniently located in the city of Tulum. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Would stay there again.

The installation is pretty. However, the hotel is very stingy with the towels and soap. In addition, the parking is very limited

Elements is a very nice hotel!! Staff was very nice! Only downside, the bed had brown stains and hair when we checked in and weirdest thing… they don’t have spare sheets or bedcovers… I even went to the maintenance closet with the front desk guy, there was nothing!! But hey…. It’s Mexico! General cleanliness of the property is so so, but you need to take in consideration that it is a very cheap, hotel an open building! Compared to prices of other property around, I would say that it is a very good deal!
Walkable distance to good restaurants and bars, be sure to try the fish n chips stand next door, Pepa Pez! Amazing food and great service!
If it weren’t for the dirty bedding and the upsetting fact that they don’t have spares (which makes me wonder if they wash the sheets at all), I would have given a 5 star review!
Don’t refrain to go there though, as it is one of the best deals downtown!

Hotel rooms were really modern and spacious and the bed was amazing. We really loved our room. We had a small shaded terrace. There was a small pool with a few chairs but hotel generally is very shady. There was a lot of rain while we were there so we didn’t sit outside and enjoy it.
Staff were helpful but a couple of requests about things in the room (no handsoap/new lightbulb needed) went unheeded. There was water available in reception and a fridge in the room.
The hotel was a good price and I would stay again.
Be aware that they take a card deposit on arrival which is pending on your account till they check your room on check out. It takes quite a while for it to be recredited.

My boyfriend & I stayed here one night because we came to Tulum for afterlife in Zamna. The rooms were nice & clean, staff was very nice. They also provided us with a taxi to get to & from Zamna. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, etc. A little bit far from the beach, but a cheap tide by taxi or a good ride by bike.
Please don't miss the "PAPA PEZ" Fish and Chips stand right beside the entrance of the hotel. You won't be disappointed, it's the best Fish and Chips you will ever try.

I paid 50% extra for upgrade & didn't get a bigger balcony on 1st floor
No elavator to haul luggage up staircases.
Room was very old.
Bathroom, air condition, TV were all subpar.
I would like to see the 50% extra i paid refunded at least.
It was more than Hilton & Aloft down the street charges.
