I love here! My kids and all my family really like here. Everyone said this hotel is better than yesterday hotels. We moved here from Chichen Itza hotel for Tulum. Compared Chichen Itza, here is excellent with great price, clean room, nice rooftop, super kind!! I will reuse again!!

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. Room was kept very clean and there was potable water right outside the room.
There wasn’t a fan or proper ventilation in the bathroom for room 6. The small window in the bathroom opened to a brick wall which resulted in a rather mouldy smell. Installing a good fan would help. I did have a fire safety concern with the gate into the beautiful little hotel atrium. It was locked from both sides so in order to leave the property you needed to unlock the gate from the inside. Not great. Would be better to be able to leave without a key and then close and lock.
Nice area around the hotel and close to many cute restaurants and amenities. Roof top has nice chairs and hammocks for relaxing and the full kitchen is great for families. The garden area is a beautiful and cooling welcome when entering the property.

The A/C did take its own sweet time to cool off the room. Terrace is the highlight. Good place to enjoy your evenings.

It was the right balance of being in walking distance of the center of Tulum, with lots of restaurants, shops, etc., but not right in the center, so it was not too noisy at night. The shared kitchen with shared refrigerator and place to eat on the roofdeck were great. Although we did not cook, there is a grocery store across the street with late hours, so we bought some food for breakfast, which we could put in the refrigerator, and it was nice to meet other tourists at breakfast time.

Beautiful serene hotel. The only problem was the noise from the street. We could hear dogs barking and loud cars going by. The property is beautiful with lots of lush greenery and a full kitchen to use.

Wowwww how amazingly beautiful this property is!!!!! My room with kitchenette was soooo spacious and lovely. The entire place is immaculate. And the icing on the cake was the covered rooftop terrace complete with loungers, hammocks and a full kitchen for your use.

The staff were very helpful with assisting me with an important issue I had. The room was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen area was a plus to have. The rooftop area was a very nice and peaceful place to relax. the front door of hotel stays locked and safe with your own entry key. I would absolutely recommend for someone looking for a quality stay at a comfortable price.

Hotel is located in a walking distance from the Tulum main road. The room was small and dark, but clean. Good towels and bed linen, but there's a very unpleasant plastic sheet on the bed. Good shower with a proper water pressure - something to mention as we encountered also something opposite elsewehere!
There's a lovely roof top terrace with hammocks to enjoy sunsets and a joint kitchen.
People were very friendly and helpful. They rent bikes for the hotel guests what was very handy.

Fransisco and his staff went avove and beyond during our stay. They accommodated us with a room on short notice (because i messed up and needed another day). The facillities ate wonderful and everything was so clean. The amenities were awesome and the upper deck rocks. You can watch the sunset and the sunrise while doing yoga or drinking a cocktail! AND the showers...THE BEST! Thank you for a wonderful stay....best accomodation i have ever had in Mexico!

I really liked this hotel. After 2 other hotels, one in Isla Holbox and one in Cancun downtown (with the same rating and more), I found the stay in Casa Almanda is the most comfortable.
It is super clean with new furniture. Bathrooms are big. I liked the kitchen (it is a must honestly when you have a family and don't want to spend a fortune for egg plates every day for breakfast). It is close to everything. .. and the terrace is very nice.
One thin I wish they do - tent the rooms windows so that the inside see the outside and the outside don't. Perhaps, improve the rooms lighting system as well - it felt quite dark.

We enjoyed the rooftop deck and open kitchen. Staff was always attentive, and went beyond to keep us happy and safe. Hotel was near many restaurants.
