A favorite for a small family or romantic getaway, relax and unwind at The Breezeway Shores, your home away from home! We may not be oceanfront, but it feels pretty darn close!

This townhouse is one of the most desirable locations on the island. Enjoy casual dining or local gift shops within walking distance to town. Visit The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital to learn how to protect our endangered/threatened sea turtles.

Walk out the doorstep, through a private access ocean view breezeway. In less than 100 steps, you are on the beach watching the crisp blue waves hit the shore. Enjoy shark teeth hunting in one of the most well-known shark tooth islands along the East Coast.

The main floor is where you will find both bedrooms and primary full bathroom:
→Master Bedroom: King bed, closet, dresser with mirror, smartTV, bedsheets & quilt provided
→Guest Bedroom: Queen bed, twin bunk beds, closet, dresser, TV with Firestick, bedsheets & quilt provided
→Bathroom: Toilet, bathtub, 6 sets bath towels provided. Other shower essentials NOT provided.

Walk up the stairs, where you will find the half bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and balcony. With a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy watching the dolphins right from the balcony in the mornings

→Kitchen: microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, drip coffee, Keurig (coffee NOT provided), blender, toaster, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, utensils
→Dining area: seats 6 people

→Balcony: outdoor chairs with view of ocean between 2 beach houses

This home is pet friendly and we have an assortment of pet food bowls as well as a 42” collapsible crate for our 4 legged guests who prefer to have the privacy of their own space.

It was really nice. Two things though. Dishes were still in dishwasher. They were clean. I put them away. Secondly, the living room floor was a bit unclean. Our small dog found two hard crackers with garlic on them and a popsicle stick. I think they were at the edge of the front of the couchs.Otherwise, everything was good.

We’ve been coming to Topsail for years as a family and typically stay further south. The location of this property could not have been better. Essentially oceanfront as it’s only 20ish steps to the beach from the front door. Ability to be anywhere on the island or across the bridge in 5 minutes or less. This would be a great stay for bike riding but our kids are too young for that. Property was clean and well appointed with kitchen utensils, etc. Washer and dryer work well although a few of our items came away with tiny rust stains that we’ll have to work on at home but I’m sure will come out. Dishwasher worked great and was quiet. We would recommend this to any family considering staying in Surf City.

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Breezeway Shores. The unit was very clean and conveniently located. We particularly appreciated the 1pm check in time and the close proximity of the beach access. The host was very responsive to questions.

Our family loved staying here. We love that the townhome is right at the beach and we don’t have to cross a road with small children to get to the sand. All rooms have tvs with WiFi connection. The kids loved that. Will stay here again.

This unit had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, beach chairs and umbrellas were very appreciated (even though we had brought our own). Beds were comfy. The dog crate, bowls and baby gates were very helpful also so we didn’t have to bring our own.

Love pulling into our rental. When we began moving our stuff in it was apparent the unit was not ready for us to be there. There were serious issues with the cleanliness of the property. I was extremely taken back as all reviews of the owner in the past were great. The cleaning crew was called back out the next day and after they left I felt the unit was much better. The owner was responsive and seemed apologetic however we burned almost an entire day between cleaning when we got there and then needing to essentially repack our stuff for the cleaning people to come back. I feel the owner made an attempt to make it right with us by refunding the cleaning fee however I am not satisfied with the response when I expressed what I felt was a reasonable request. I will definitely be traveling back to Topsail, however I will not be staying in these units again.

We really enjoyed the island and location. Ted is a great host. It’s close to a lot of things but still quiet at night. The view from the deck is amazing and you can hear the ocean all day.

Great property with many amenities of home, even for our pup. Easy access to the beach and loved being in Central location to the "downtown" area of Surf City. Ted was excellent with communication. Definitely plan to come back. Surf City is a relaxed and fun town!!

The only thing that would have made our trip better was more time at the beach! :) Our family (3 adults, 2 kids) had a fabulous week in Ted's home! The location was amazing...close to all the action yet right on the beach. Surf City is a great little town that boosts all kinds of amenities without the crazy crowds of other beach destinations. Ted's home was exactly as pictured although I would say it was much more spacious in person. You really cannot beat the location - literal steps from the beach. This unit had an outstanding view of the beach from both the balcony and bedroom. We had everything we needed for our trip with a well stocked kitchen and the most comfortable beds I've slept in (more comfortable than my own). While we were not able to bring our pup on this trip, the unit and beach are dog friendly, which is part of the reason we chose to vacation in Surf City. Overall, this was a great, VERY relaxing week at the beach and we appreciate Ted's hospitality and opening his home to us. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!

Ted was very great about communicating and made sure to call and answer all of our questions before we arrived and during our stay. The house was the perfect size for myself and about 4 friends. It was right on the beach and there lots to do in the area. Lots of fun bars, great restaurants & nice people in the area!

We always enjoy our stay at Ted's townhouse! The sun was out every day, we ate good food, got a great suntan and did a little shopping. Ted is always available if you need him, and he is a great landlord! Great townhouse with stunning views of the ocean.

The condo was better than advertised. Only steps to the beach. The bedrooms get dark and we all slept great. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen. Restaurants and shopping are close. This vacation left us all feeling rested and ready to tackle the rest of the school year.

Location was amazing. We were a very very short walk to the beach. House was gorgeous, beds so soft, home had everything we needed, including for our dog baby. All cooking utensils, seasoning, sheets and towels. It was close to everything. We had access to a water hose right at the stairs to wash off before going into the house. Very quant location and the view of the beach was amazing. Fishing was a plus. We will definitely be back next summer. Owner made us feel so welcome called us ahead of time to answer any questions we had. This was an amazing trip and have nothing but praises for this place.

We had a wonderful time staying in the Surf City townhome. It had a perfect view of the beach, comfy beds, walking distance to several bars and restaurants, and easy access to the beach. Even the neighbors were super friendly. We can't wait to go back!
