About this cabin rental
Our family-owned cabin is nestled at the Northern end of the lake where it is quiet and incredibly serene. The location is at the base of a forested mountain and situated to face The Great Sacandaga Lake. The log-built exterior is flanked with Amish built chairs and a large A-frame screen-in porch. The firepit welcomes all the traditional memory makers such as smores, storytelling, music playing and/or to simply enjoy your favorite drink as the fireflies and crickets begin the evening.
Once inside, you will be welcomed by the exceptionally clean and upscale furnishings. The kitchen is well appointed with all the items you and your family will need for making a hearty breakfast and dinners on the lakeside dock.
The bedrooms are decorated to help with your escape from the grind with high quality Queen beds and bedding. Need more beds? We have two air mattresses that will be set up with sheets, pillows and blankets for you too!
Your dreams will come true when you waken to the crisp clean air and the quiet allure of the sparkling lake.
Our private lake side deck and floating dock is a short walk and will become a favorite place from the get-go. Don't forget to bring your favorite reading book, binoculars, a cooler filled with goodies. There are motorized boat rentals on the lake if your adventure includes joining in on the wide array of water activities. We do not allow boats at the dock. We only have 10ft. which is not enough to keep a boat there but Kayaks, tubes, floats for swimming are allowed.
If you decide to explore the surrounding communities, you will find, historical options, eateries, hiking, boating. Summer ends with the highly sought after symphony of fall foliage indicating that soon all the amazing winter activities will be going strong. Lake George and Saratoga are just 20 minutes away with continued options.

What a gorgeous spot! Just a short walk to a private dock, a lovely view from the screened in porch, cozy beds.... and it's dog friendly! We would come back here in a second!

We were all looking for a relaxing weekend and we got it. Easy to just hang at the comfy cabin & read indoors or outdoors, or walk down to the lake & hang at the dock & swim. Outdoor BBQ and a great kitchen for the happy cooks with us. Easy to get into Lake George for lunch & site seeing. And, so fortunate to have the best weather of the summer so far. A truly great stay. Thanks.

This is a great location for fun and relaxation! We enjoyed fishing off the dock, relaxing on the screened porch, driving to Bolton Landing for some shops and treats, and visiting the historic Grant Cottage. The cabin itself is beautiful and well appointed. We had an amazing time.

The property was a perfect spot for a variety of activities and suited for when rain hits. We loved the screened in porch.
Very clean and well stocked.
Owners were communicative and kind.
Recommend Wayside Beach, Mystic Marina and the Adirondack Folk School gift shop.

Host was super responsive. Cabin was brand new and in excellent shape. Very nice, thoughtful decor. Driveway quite steep but doable. Access to the lake is quite a long walk away from the house, as the only drawback. Otherwise a lovely place and would highly recommend!

The Cabin was absolutely stunning! It had a modern/rustic feel perfect for the location. Going during the fall when the leaves are all different colors was breathtaking to see. The lake is gorgeous and there is plenty to do near by or if you just feel like staying in. We will gladly be looking into staying in the future again.

It was a peaceful and relaxing overnite at Alexandra’s cabin. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The driveway was a bit of a challenge but we managed it. One suggestion would be an anti slip shower mat for older folks. Overall it was a delightful getaway!

5 girls had a perfect little getaway in this cabin-perfect distance to Lake George. The fall decorations and little touches made the cabin perfect for a girls getaway.

Stayed at this location on our trek back home from my best friends wedding on Brant Lake and we were more than impressed with the cabin/our stay! Very clean, homey, comfortable, etc.
Our favorite part was hanging outside in the screened in porch streaming/watching football & Netflix. Can’t forget how AMAZING the owls sound. There were prob 4 or 5, we were in awe!

We really enjoyed the cabin and neighborhood. The only downside was that we did not have any cellphone service to connect to the Vrbo app and obtain access to the lockbox. When contacted the property manager, I was told that the WiFi info is in a booklet inside - not really helpful if you are trying to get into the cabin.

The home was beautiful and very clean and new we did however expect there to be a queen and one twin bed in each room as it said but there were only two queen beds and air mattresses this was somewhat of a disappointment

Great stay. Super clean. Great screened porch with TV. Comfortable furniture. New construction. Nice yard area for corn hole. New grill and large kitchen. The property manager was very responsive and when we requested something mid-visit, it was immediately brought to us. Great experience. Good place to walk dogs and beautiful dock which was short walk from the cabin.

We dropped our son off at this 2nd year of college in Burlington, VT and decided to stay in this region for a few days on our way back to the Washington, DC area. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned, the screened in porch was fantastic. We spent a lot of time out there reading, watching on the TV (we brought our own Roku, but the cabin has ones too you could log into your accounts). The owner gave us pre trip suggestions for where to pick up groceries on the way (Tuffs in the town of Day) and the wine/liquor store across the street. It may have been our fault not looking closely, but we were a little surprised by how far the reserved dock/lake spot was from the cabin. We did go down to the water several times during our short stay but opted to drive down and use the parking spot there and once there it is a beautiful dock area with a covered sitting area (the others around it were not covered so we liked that feature). We took a day trip to the town of Northville across the lake, it was a pretty drive and the town had a few cute stores and a great farm / grocery store with fantastic sandwiches. Overall the cabin was perfect for our needs and we would highly recommend you visit and enjoy it as well!

Needed a place to stay while I was visiting family in town. Love the look and feel this cabin. Was the perfect size for our family. Our kids loved it too. Will be adding to my favorites and plan to stay again in the future.

Me my husband and 4 friends (one other couple) stayed in this cabin and used the dock for a fun weekend away from life. We spent much of our evenings in the screened in pourch and most of our day using the dock to put kayaks in and a float and a paddle baord. The dock is a little ways away so we drove a truck down with our stuff. But with it being closer to the dam the dock doesn't see a lot of wake. Would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you for this property! We were on our way up the east coast and stayed here overnight with my girls and Labrador. It was as advertised. I enjoyed the serenity, waking up and having my coffee on the screened in porch before anyone was awake. We also got to make it out to the dock, which my girls also loved, so much that they got their clothes all wet from walking into the water. We’d love to get a chance to stay here again sometime in the future.

This was such a wonderful quiet cabin to stay in! Close to Lake George and other areas that were easy to get too. The screened in porch was our favorite spot!

We loved this house and are definitely hoping to go back! The house was lovely, clean, and charming. Our favorite part was the screened-in porch, which has great views and where we hung out a lot. The private deck and dock isn't far and the lake is absolutely gorgeous--clear and warm enough for swimming in July. Hosts are very responsive and warm.

Thank you to Teddie & Glenn for an awesome week at their cabin on Sacandaga. The Cabin was very very clean which is always important to us upon arrival. It was cozy and comfy - for any down time that we had whether in the evenings or on the rainy day that we had. The screened in porch was awesome to relax in the evening - with the TV on and the open airflow and the sound of the deer in the woods.
The use of the dock was what drew us to the place. We love to use a boat for any lake vacation (we rented from Majestic Mountain - about 10 minute drive/boat ride away) and docked it for the couple of days that we had it. We had a great time exploring the water and cruising out to the big lake and exploring the islands and anchoring to swim around them. Once we were done exploring on the boat it was great to come back and swim just off the dock. We met a few neighboring dock families who were all very nice and welcoming.
In the area we basically had everything we wanted to do within a 30 minute radius - stores, food, ice cream, mini golf, Lake George downtown, Queensbury/Six Flags, Saratoga Springs and SPAC for Concerts (we went the night we checked out and stayed one night in Saratoga for the concert before heading home).
All in all we had an awesome week and would not hesitate to book again. I hope we do (assuming our lives aren't taken over by Softball next summer). To be continued.
Thanks again!

What an amazing property to stay at for our annual girls getaway! The house had plenty of space for all of us, yet felt so cozy and warm. The weather was great, so we were able to spend lots of time on the screened-in porch. The kitchen was well equipped for all of the meals we made at the house, and it was a short drive to the cute town of Lake Luzerne. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the owners provided plenty of extra bedding to make everyone comfortable. The dock provides great access to the beautiful lake! The owners were quick to reply to all of our communications. We hope to have the chance to stay at this property again!!

There was not one minute i did not feel at home. Beautifully scenic cabin / cottage located short walk from lake. The owners were supper helpful with property info. Amenities are great. Very up to date property. Everything was at a fingers touch accessible. There was a usefully info book on the coffee table that gave very exact direstions of what and where things were in the house. Overall would stay here again for a longer period of time, hands down.
