I usually never leave reviews but I couldn’t pass up the chance to comment on this. In our 7 days trip to Jordan, our stay at Wadirum Quiet Village Camp was the definitive highlight.
From the very beginning, Saleem and his team made us feel welcomed and confortable. We met guests from all over the world and had a great time. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including camel riding at sunset, a Jeep Tour (I highly recommend the full-day tour) to enjoy the sights, quiet evenings under the stars with complimentary sweet tea and bedouin live music. Payments are cash only and all the activities mentioned are very affordable.
The camp is clean, confortable and very secure.
Chef Ali is a superstar and I highly recommend the Zarb, which is served in the evening. Muhammad drove us for the Jeep Tour and was a fantastic guide. In fact, it was a privilege to cook lunch together and learn more about life at Wadirum. Ousmane expertly lead the camel riding and was very kind and patient with us. Saleem made sure everything ran smoothly and more importantly, ensured that we didn’t miss our flight back to Canada by organizing a drop-off at 2:30 AM ! Ahed kindly drove us fat the Park so we could catch our ride back to the airport. We couldn’t be more grateful.
My heartfelt thanks to Salem and the entire team for your hospitality and kindness. We would be happy to stay at the camp again in the future. Best wishes !

My sister left her tablet in the room and we didnt realize it till the afternnon in Aqaba. We raced back and they met us in the village. They were all so nice and accommodating.

Our stay was generally a good experience. It is a different experience, in a spectacular place!
The camp is normal, has what it takes, and the food is fantastic. The camel ride was great, and the man who accompanied us on the tour was super nice.
However, several things happened that put a damper on our stay and we were very upset. Camp workers were rude at different times. For the day of our return, we asked them if they could take us to the town a little after 11:00 am (even before the check-in time), to enjoy the place a little more, and they flatly told us no. . That if we didn't pay for a desert tour with them, we had to leave no later than 10:00 am. And as if that were not enough, around 9:20 am, we were sitting on the outskirts of the camp enjoying the scenery, and the van started honking at us, rushing us and telling us that we had to go. And the most unpleasant thing was during the night, around 10:00 pm. We were walking around the camp admiring the night (which is magnificent there), and it was a bit cold, so we decided to go to the common room to have some tea. When we arrived, the camp workers were there, and when they saw us come in they began to speak in Arabic, not realizing that we were with a Jordanian friend, who was very upset to hear them. Upon entering, assuming we didn't understand them, they started speaking rudely to us, supposedly because we were bothering them. In short, our experience was not as good as it could have been.

Great experience. Tents are confortable but of course very cold because there is no heating. Food was good also.
We also took camel sunset ride on arrival day which was ok same like 4 hour jeep tour on departure day (note: it is a Toyota Hilux sightseeing tour). Both tours were good but guides spoke english only couple of words.

Stayed here one night, arriving just before sunset and then walked to a nearby dune to watch it. I stayed here alone and found it a little awkward, with lots of other couples and groups staying at the same time, and there was no integration. Would have appreciated some conversation with the Bedouin guys who mostly kept themselves to themselves around the campfire and only spoke to me to persuade me into a Jeep tour the next day. This was worth it though, Achmed was great and showed me around all the best spots on a half day tour (Rock climbing, dunes, springs, canyons). The zarb (barbecue) and music were good touches but I think pretty standard across any Wadi Rum spots. My main concern with the campsite itself was only one male shower and no hot water - frustrating given how freezing cold the evening was, right through night until the morning. Room was good although still had to sleep fully clothed with three blankets, a portable heater would have been nice. No option to buy snacks or anything so make sure you either bring some or fill yourself on the dinner (!) which costs 10JD - a fair price given you don’t have any other options. Probably wouldn’t stay again - feels like a one-time thing for me, but Quiet Village is great for a cheap and cheerful option.

The place is nice, the staff friendly. Very good breakfast and dinner buffet.
The linnen in my room seemed to be used as there were some hairs on it (not mine).
The 3 hours jeep tour seems a bit overprized (30 JOD reduced price instead of 35 JOD).
Anyhow the stay in the camp was a nice experience.

This camp is a really nice place to stay. It is super clean. Saleem and all the people working there are kind persons and they are doing their best to please you. That was such a great experience in this fantastic desert.

The people were very friendly and spoke great English. The visit was wonderful.

Really amazing. The best night in my life.

My 4th time to Wadi Rum in 8 years, but my first visit to Quiet Village felt like old friends. The camp is clean, and the staff are friendly. I was particularly happy to have spent time with Mohammed who answerd my curious questions in such a thoughtful way. Ahmed, the cook, making delicious zarb, Ahed whose smile always shined, and Saleem, who was always curious to see if everything was well. More days stay is always better.

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend Wadirum Quiet Village Camp to everyone.

The stay in Wadi Rum Quiet Village was very nice. The team and the manager were really kind and all was very well organized (Taxi, Jeep- and Hiking tours). If one doesn't really want to enjoy the easy life and standard it might probably not be the right thing to stay in a camp - but that's Wadi Rum. The cabins/tents are very comfortable and are equipped with cosy beds and blankets. Some of the cabins/tents even include a private bathroom.

The accommodation was on staff friendly and the food ok. My evening meal and day tour cost £50. Be prepared it can be very cold at night.
4.6
We asked for a private tour where we could control where we go/what we see, Sam (the camp manager) put us on a 6 persons group tour instead that did not even reach one Bedouin site. The owner, Saleem, seems to be ok, but he is not present most of the time. Talked to other tourists - you might want to try a different camp.

This property has the best location as it’s situated right behind a large mountain. During the mornings the mountain provides shade while revealing the natural beauty of the land scape. The manager, Saleem, was pretty attentive but the only con I have is that there was no fans or air conditioners in the rooms.

Saleem was an incredible host and made our stay here so memorable. All the staff went above and beyond to treat us as family. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the setting of their camp is beyond words to describe, just magical. You will not regret staying here, the food is fantastic and the tours are great as well, camel rides, Jeep tours, etc. we loved
our stay here and will never forget it. The staff is top notch. Just go and it will be an experience of a lifetime

Wadirum Quiet Village Camp was a fantastic. The owner Saleem made us feel very welcome and his staff was excellent. They took us out on Jeep and Camel Tours the two days we were there. We saw all the sites in Wadi Rum and were well looked after. Plenty of water and food was provided on our excursions. The camp itself is very well situated near the base of one of the many mountains and is shielded from the wind and sun in the morning. The food was excellent. Can't say enough good things about our experience. Loved it. Would come back again.
4.6
It was quiet like advertised, calm and beautiful. Staff were responsive but could be a bit practice toward the guests, and when we do the tours it’s better to have someone who can explain what we are seeing.

This was much more than we had expected. Very clean tent with even plugs for electricity. Phantastic Food in the evening. The camel ride is an experience you will never forget

Attentive hosts, wonderful Bedouin dinner around the campfire. Very peaceful with beautiful scenery.
Straightforward to get there. Parked in the village main car park and were collected within 10 minutes of arrival and driven to the camp.

Wadi rum camp and the host are fantastic. The surrounding landscape is so beautiful, and the team there will make sure that you enjoy it in full. I recommend the camp and to go on a tour of the desert.

We had an amazing 2 nights at the quiet village camp. When we arrive in Rum village we were met by Salim and transferred to a 4x4 for the trip to the camp. The rooms were very clean and had comfy beds with nice thick blankets for the cold desert nights. (Bring adequate clothing if you tend to get cold!) the stargazing and tea by the fire was perfect and the food is absolutely amazing! We booked a half day Jeep tour and a sunset camel ride through the camp and they were both fantastic! I highly recommend you choose Quiet Village for your stay in Wadi Rum!

Fabulous place. Great and friendly hosts. Saleem is brilliant and friendly. The full day jeep tour with lunch is a must. Especially watching the sun set in the evening. There is an option to camel ride from the camp too. Finally the food is excellent. Bedouin style. Tasty and plentiful. I would go back. (free WiFi on the camp meant I could share photos of this amazing stay back home)
