This newly updated mountain modern retreat boasts pristine views of the San Juan Gateway, featuring three-bedrooms and two and a half baths. The bright and airy upper level features an open concept living area, with a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen that is ready for you to prepare a wonderful meal! You'll love spending your time on the beautiful deck spaces, sipping your favorite beverage or watching the local wildlife while enjoying the outdoor gas firepit! Or venture out into the beautiful backyard and cozy up to the smokeless firepit while roasting marshmallows and soaking up the Ouray moonlight!
The stunning primary bedroom is located on the upper floor and features privacy as well as a luxurious king bed and gorgeous corner patio doors leading to the large deck area and those amazing views with the hot tub right outside. On the lower level are the second and third guest bedrooms. Both feature cozy king beds and a convenient jack and jill bathroom with a beautiful stone shower. The second bedroom features a gas fireplace and two sliding glass doors that access the back yard. You will also find an additional cozy sitting area to enjoy a movie, great book or gather with friends and family for great conversation. For your convenience the home also has a washer and dryer.
Two new E-bikes are provided for your riding enjoyment around the town of Ouray.

After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

This is our second stay, and the home gets better and better each time. Great location and beautiful home. Kitchen is very well equipped and stocked with every imaginable cooking spice + olive oil and vinegar - far better than any other rental vacation home we've visited. Very clean. Fireplace was equipped and ready to go - even during the summer months (which we enjoyed in the cool evenings). Thanks!

Luxurious modern home just a block off Main Street. The 3 bedrooms with king sized beds were perfect. Modern bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. The large deck with hot tub and fire pit were a welcome place to relax after a day of hiking. Along with the many birds that visited the feeder, we saw a deer and bear in the yard. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

This place is a couple of blocks down from the main street and we ended up walking everywhere in town instead of using the vehicle. The house is very new feeling with modern style and amenities. The hot tub is on the deck right outside of the main bedroom, which is really nice. The yard is perfect for dogs, with a gate you can pull across the driveway to make it a fully-fenced worry free setup. We really enjoyed our stay and will look for this place again next time we make it back to Ouray.

Great property. We had three family couples; father, two sons with spouses.
Spacious for all six together and secluded bedrooms & seating areas.
Well stocked kitchen for cooking family meals.
Large parking area(3 cars). Walkable location to Main Street but still secluded and quiet.
Main floor bedroom’s bathroom is not en suite. You must walk through main living area to access the full bath. I didn’t realize that when booking. Not a deal breaker.
Kitchen could benefit from a dishwasher.
We’d stay again.

Perfectly located within Ouray and also with some privacy, this home was a perfect fit for our family vacation. We were able to walk to the Perimeter Trail, Box Canyon, all of the shops and restaurants on Main Street while having a quiet location. Ouray is an awesome town. This home is absolutely beautiful, perfect location. Many windows to feel and see nature. The balcony is large and private. Hearing the roaring river behind the house from the balcony , upstairs bedroom and living area is so relaxing!!! The furniture and decor is wow !!!! Five minute walk to the town’s restaurants, shops, great Museum and a Catholic Church was perfect for our family !!!

The perfect cabin for my family! Kids loved the swing in the back! My wife and I loved the patio where you could hear the river close by and the scenery was breathtaking. We also love that everything was within walking distance from the cabin. Perfect location! We would definitely stay there again!

This home was one of the best rentals I have stayed in. 6 of us stayed for a wonderful girls’ weekend and couldn’t have been happier with the property. It was spotless, beautiful and very well stocked. It was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do in town. We would LOVE to return!!

Don't pay a lot of attention to older reviews as much work has been recently done to the home. The bottom floor of the home is now complete with two very nice bedrooms and 1.5 baths downstairs). Upstairs, which was all we needed, was perfect. We've stayed in dozens of VRBO's and this was certainly the most well equipped home & kitchen we've ever experienced.
We had all we needed (plentiful utensils and dishes as well as spices, etc) to cook great meals at the house. WOW!! All appliances and everything in the home worked well (there is no dishwasher, and that's OK). A new, very nice gas firepit has been installed on the deck, which was not mentioned in the listing, and we really enjoyed that each evening. Three very high quality screened sliding doors on the main floor, which helped up enjoy the mountain air. Beautiful picture windows had a terrific view from the kitchen / dining.
A very short walk to downtown and most anywhere in Ouray you wish to go.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for sharing your home!

Our stay was great. The unit is very nice with modern appealing style. Ice maker and dishwasher not working on arrival. Dishwasher was repaired quickly.
This location cannot be beat and we would stay here again.
We wished that there was some accommodation made for recycling. That doesn’t seem to be a concern for the owner but it was for us! Also, lots of excess plastic waste caused by packs of personal care, kitchen, and laundry items - all in tiny little plastic bottles wrapped in more plastic. Didn’t have enough laundry detergent cuz there were only 2 tablets. That stuff was a bummer.

We enjoyed our weekend in ouray! The home is very pretty and decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. I did think that it was weird that the basement is unfinished. It made for a very odd entrance into the home and made it feel very cold and strange. They also request you start a load of towels and the washer and dryer are in the basement. They are filthy. I was a little grossed out that my towels came out of them. I’m not sure if it is vrbo or the owners but I don’t understand why we have so many cleaning responsibilities when we are paying $300 cleaning fees? Overall, the location was good, more in town than you’d expect from the photos. There aren’t great views because of this.

Property seems to still be going through renovations. Downstairs is unfinished and other areas of the home have unfinished details. The couch is tiny! No dishwasher, but expected to wash dishes even though we pay a cleaning fee. Dishes were dirty when we arrived, had to wash everything before use. Missing hair dryer but got one the following day. Deck is very nice and views are beautiful. Close distance to all the main attractions.

First time to CO!! Place was new, more modern. Still need comfortable and functional items, like more places to set bathroom items an few more hooks in bathroom. Kitchen was good. Basement is a great idea especially if you have 4 wheelers, but the basement was dirty and washer and dryer was dirty! I had to clean it out. Good was there is a stool and sink in basement, but dusty dirty. They will figure it out… black and red bugs up and downstairs. But I’ve never been to CO so maybe just that time of year. I would check it out - nice place though.

This modern mountain home is a true gem! What a find! the home is quite new and the amenities are awesome. It’s so new that the drapes in the bedroom arrive the day we leave. Not a problem whatsoever! We slept like babies.
It’s a very quiet environment and if the weather would have been better we would have used the gorgeous large private deck.
This place nears perfection!
