The sheets were clean.
The car park was secure.
Good location, shops and cafes / restaurant's nearby.
We arrived late at night after travelling for over 24 hours therefore we were extremely tired. On arrival the receptionist was less than helpful, at first I put it down to the language barrier, I then got the impression he just could not be bothered.
We had requested rooms close together, 1 room was on the 1st floor, the other on the 2nd floor, not ideal and I understand some requests cannot be met but again the receptionist was less than helpful.
Once we got our luggage into the rooms I checked the bedding, which was clean, we then went straight to bed.
When we got up in the morning we were able to see the rooms in the daylight, the rooms were not clean, to the extend that I instructed my family to wear their sliders at all times including within the shower. I myself refused to take a shower due to how unhygienic the room was overall. Once we checked out I was physically sick in the carpark due to the state of the place.
Details are as follows:
1. Unknown substance smeared over the wall of bedside table
2. Floors were dirty and sticky
3. Furniture and walls were tired, dated & damaged
4. Light switch next to bed was hanging off the wall,
5. Some lights in the room did not work
6. Some power sockets in the room did not work
6. Shower area was dirty, hairs on floor and walls
7. Shower curtain was dirty
8. Wash hand basin seal was discoloured / mouldy
9. Toilet pan was dirty and stained
10. Waste bin in bathroom had dried liquid on it (placed next to the toilet pan....)
11. Staff were unhelpful
I am aware this is a budget hotel and as such I was not expecting luxury, I was however expecting a standard of basic cleanliness, this unfortunately was sadly lacking. My husband has travelled extensively with our sons to watch the football, they have stayed in a variety of places from 5* hotels, family run B&B's to hostels, they all agreed that they have stayed in basic hostels that were far superior / cleaner than this hotel.

Bk over the road.
Wasn't sure what to expect, but I guess nearly I got what I paid for. Bed was hard, breakfast was uneventful, bread roll and coffee. Would I use it again..
No! But that's just me.

Basic travel through stay, which was sufficient for us. Dog allowed, super! Just what we need!
The 2-3 person room needs some small redecoration work and some more, preferably closed, cupboard space actually suitable for 2 or 3 persons. A small refrigerator in the room would be a big plus.

The room smelled strange when I entered. Airing it out helped but the smell returned after a while when I closed the window.
Luckily it was warm enough to keep the window open.

It was good given the low price we booked . The breakfast was basic but ok.
The room had an unpleasant smell and not very spacious for three people. Also the reservation was for three and towels were only for two. No shampoos or even soap. The handsoap was finished. Things that should have been taken care given the fact that the rooms was just cleaned.

The room was very clean and quiet. This is a highway location but there are fast food restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good value for the price
The bathroom was small

A one night stopover driving from Northern France to South East Spain. Good size room..Wet room compact pod for shower etc. TV. Central location in Pau with restaurants ,petrol stations within a few metres! Just 10 mins in moderate traffic to historic centre of Pau. Fantastic value.
Signs to hotel entrance, signs to reception, signs to breakfast room etc could be better!

Clean room, good beds and shower. Cheap. Large free carpark.
Quire far from the town centre but that's why it is inexpensive.

hotel well located near the highway, free private parking, reception always open, clean rooms, comfy beds
perfect for a short stay during a travel
bathrooms could have been a little bit more cleaner ( shower curtains)
