The house was exactly as pictured although much nicer in person! It was very comfortable for our entire family. It was decorated beautifully and the beds and linens were so cozy! Other amenities we really enjoyed were the fire pit on the deck overlooking the gorgeous mountain view, the hot tub, and the fireplace. Parking was great on a level area, for 2 cars. We were in Bryson City for the polar express and that was so much fun too! We WILL definitely be back again. Communication with Beth was great as well. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

My friends and I really enjoyed this house! Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view. We were there to mountain bike and it was just 20-25 minutes from Tsali and Fire Mountain which was great. Only wish the kitchen were a bit more stocked as we generally cook all our meals on trips like these. Would stay again!

My friends and I really enjoyed this house. It was clean and cozy with a beautiful mountain view and is close to town and plenty of mountain biking and hiking! As a group that does this a few times a year, we generally cook all our meals and had just wished the kitchen were stocked a little better and with better knives- so just FYI to maybe bring some of your own supplies if needed! Would stay again!

Overall, this cabin is decorated beautifully on the inside. It truly is nice and you can tell they took the time when decorating. The owner was very kind and easy to get a hold of. However, I did not realize from the photos that this cabin was on an extremely steep mountain side. It was nerve-racking pulling into the road the cabin is on, and when pulling out. Also, it is important to note that the neighbor directly across has a mini farm. When we arrived there were three or four roosters at the edge of the house. That did not bother me at all until the next morning. My parents were sleeping in the other king bed when you walk in the front doors to the right. My dad told me the next morning that the roosters were going off every 20 to 30 minutes starting at 2 AM until 7:30AM. He even tried to use earplugs but he did not have any relief. The next night they decided to move across the hall to the other bedroom in hopes they could have a good nights sleep. Unfortunately, they did not get any relief but at least the roosters didn’t start until 3:30 AM. I did not hear them in the master bedroom. I did notice when packing the car the night before we left that the roosters were hanging out in the trees on the right side of the house. Therefore, it makes sense my dad would hear them and I wouldn’t. I understand this is a newer property and I am sure supplies will be added over time. I am used to staying at properties that have been renting for several years and have a nice stockpile of items to use. I always pack way too much and unfortunately for me, I did not pack a ton of kitchen stuff for this trip. There was a large skillet, and a small one. That made it difficult to cook dinner because we needed another one, such as a medium size. In addition, there was not a strainer or a can opener.
There is a significant cold draft from the basement that comes through underneath the door. Also, the master bathroom is extremely cold and seems to get no heat. I think it’s because there is not a vent in there. Also, if you have little ones, be sure you do not wear socks throughout the house because the floors are very slippery. I assume they were recently finished and unfortunately found out the hard way. While the interior is absolutely gorgeous, my family and I will not be staying here again due to the location, the extreme drop off of a hillside, and the unwanted feather alarm clocks make this decision. I understand the owner does not have control over the neighbors.

Newly decorated, clean and well appointed, it's adorable with a view. It's very convenient to Bryson City. Quirky hot tub, grill and plumbing among other small things but nothing to ruin a beautiful stay.

Everything was perfect with our stay. The cabin was clean and smelt great. Hot tub was an amazing bonus! The horses, donkey and dog across the street were super sweet as well.
