Generous sized room with the biggest bathroom we have yet encountered after 3 weeks of travelling the UK. Lovely breakfast options too.

Absolutely loved staying here, it was a short walk into town. Joan made us feel very welcome she has a beautiful b&b. Rooms were very big and spotlessly clean, ensuite was lovely with free toiletries. Joan makes a lovely breakfast, nothing is to much trouble for her. Unfortunately when we arrived we were soaked it had been pouring most of the day typical Scottish weather, Joan very kindly put our coats in her airing cupboard to dry and let us use an umbrella to go back out. We would have no hestation to stay here again.

Joan was very nice even when we were four hours late booking in. She was a little bit cross which was understandable. We stayed two nights and everything was great, lovely and clean, good breakfast but watch those plates they are very hot

What a gem! Joan was a great host, house is very well maintained and clean. Our room was spacious, clean and had an ensuite with a flash new bath. Breakfast, which was included, was awesome. Nothing was a problem and helpful travel hints provided were spot on. Short walk of less than 10 minutes to pubs, restaurants, shops. Highly recommend.

Very friendly helpful host. Joan suggested a walk that she thought that we would like. It was lovely. Room and bathroom exceptionly clean and comfortable. Delicious and filling breakfast.

This is a fabulous place. The host, Joan, is so helpful, giving us advice on transportation, walks, etc. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The location is great and the walk from the train station was not strenuous for two 70 year olds with roller bags! Other reviews have mentioned the breakfast and we agree…wonderful! I give this place an A+

Overly place up by the castle, steep walk from the station, well set back from the roof. Very comfortable spacious room and excellent breakfast including gluten-free for person with coeliac disease.

Excellent location , walkable to town ,the bus and train stations . Our room was spacious with a large modern en-suite . Breakfast was great , lovely to have a smoked haddock option too . Perfect hosts , friendly and helpful . We loved staying here

Joan was a fantastic hostess. Her breakfasts are scrumptious and the property met all of our expectations. The property is within walking distance of all shopping and restaurants in Inverness. We will definitely return!

Great facilities and very comfortable.It is a quiet location off a busy road.Choice for breakfast was good. Host was very welcoming.It is close to centre though if walking it is a steep hill up to it.would definately recommend and hope to return in the future.

Culliss house is a very well located place close to Inverness town centre run by a very nice couple. The accommodation is kept immaculately clean and is nicely decorated throughout. Breakfast was excellent and overall Joan is a wonderful and very helpful host

Really lovely B&B. Warm welcome and overall great stay. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. Breakfast was a great start to the day and nice to chat to the other guests hearing all about their travels. Location was perfect to get into the high street and a walk to Ness Island. Only comment when booking is the hotel is slightly hard to find. If you see the medical centre take that turning and it’s just down the path.

Joan went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was immaculate and comfortable and breakfast fantastic. Covid procedures were very well observed. Located in a quiet place just on the edge of the city centre and close to the Castle.

We ended up having an unexpected extra day during our trip and had to find some place that day to stay for the night, we found the Culliss House and it was probably the best place e stayed during our trip. The owner is very nice and helpful. The location and the vibe inside your room almost makes it feel like you’re tucked away in a little cabin in the woods but you’re still very close to everything in the city center. The Inverness Castle is just a quick walk down the road, along with many restaurants. Very nice, clean rooms, great bed. Definitely will come back here next time we are in Inverness!
