With over 2,600 sq ft of sundecks surrounding the elevated pool area, Villa in the Air blends indoor and outdoor space in an exceptional way. A spacious living area with chef’s style kitchen opens directly to the pool area with floor to ceiling glass doors.
Just a few steps past the dining area, the soaring ceilings of the screened porch make this an exclusive hangout with lots of outdoor seating and lounge spaces. When checking in, make sure to pick your favorite of the four boutique-style bedrooms, all with king-size beds. Or, sleep underneath the stars at the top floor in bedroom five’s queen size bedroom with skylights.
| | If you have to get some work done or just want to stream movies the villa is equipped with high-speed wifi. Villa in the Air is located on Cutlass Drive. You are a few hundred steps from the beach and just around the corner from the nature preserve where you can enjoy miles of untouched beaches famous for shelling and being the birthplace of thousands of sea-turtles each summer. |
| The reverse floor plan gives you the living level designed for enjoying time with friends and family. The designer kitchen in brushed oak is custom made for Villa in the Air, handmade in Sweden and shipped to North Captiva. The stainless-steel countertops and the tiled walls together with the bar chairs create a welcoming bistro feeling. While at the bath; if you like the bathroom commodes designed in Sweden handmade out of brushed oak, wait until you see the shower options. Choose between the massive rain-shower room or the deep bathtub for rinsing off and relaxing after a day at the beach or if you are in the mother in law suite- a double mounted rain shower room. All bathrooms fully tiled with their own style. | | On a rainy day or late at night, you can sneak up to the third-floor media room, where you find a big-screen Roku TV, hangout area and office space if anyone needs a private working area. The sloping roof and the two balconies give a feeling of a Manhattan penthouse with an ocean view. The top level offers a 360 view of the island all the way to the Gulf. | | In a separate building, you will find the mother-in-law-suite, equipped with a king-size bed, a bathroom with twin rain showers and a walk-in closet. The room is the perfect escape for any couples who like some privacy, the nanny, or your in-laws. | | North Captiva is the perfect getaway from the city, the cold weather or if you just want to enjoy “island time” for a while.
