This place worked well for our family of 5. The location was great, close to views, water, & downtown. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the old quirky home.
We had a few cleanliness issues that wouldn’t keep us from staying again, but if we stayed longer than 2 nights it may have been more of an issue.
The A/C is 2 window units that worked well in the 80+ heat with humidity that we had.

This home worked well for us . Plenty of sleeping areas for myself and adult children. Great location just outside of Marquette city area . Well stocked and comfortable home. 😊

We were all impressed on how well stocked the house was with condiments...tea ..coffee...and spices. It was also extremely clear and ready for guests.

This was a great home base for 4 days of hiking in Marquette! The kitchen was fantastic. Clean, spacious, well stocked and had a fireplace!
Beds had great mattresses. Bathrooms and towels were so clean. Washer and dryer came in handy.
The town of Marquette was a win!

The location of the property was great. We walked into town in the morning to get lattes! The kitchen was great. Its an older home. It was a little chilly and now way to turn up heat. The downstairs barhroom was cold. The only tv was downstairs. None in the bedrooms. It was a great location and reasonably priced.

This is our 2nd time stay here. We love this house. Switches & cupboards are all marked. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. Beds are comfortable. Great location!! Out of the hustle & bustle of downtown, but still close.

Had a blast with our family of 4. The home could’ve slept six very comfortably we loved going to the local market “Cals” and skiing at Marquette Mountain.
Property is historic home that is well taken care of and clean has a large kitchen. Nice porch in the front and the back and walking distance to cool stuff. We would stay again

Thank you for a nice get away. This property had an excellent stocked kitchen if I was going to prepare meals. But we ate out more than I cooked. Thanks for the coffee & chips/salsa my teen enjoyed them as a late night snack

This house was great for my family, ages 19 to 81! Open floor plan, lots of seating, comfortable beds and plenty of room! It was the cleanest home I've ever been in and the little extras were a wonderful surprise: a snack to welcome us, K-cups, and laundry pods, to name a few.
The front porch steps were a bit steep and the stairs to the 2nd floor include a tight turn, but the safety handles were sturdy and we were all very pleased. The driveway was very steep and we opted to park at the top. Easy to do in July, but we wondered what it might be like in the winter. It's worth noting that the owner made us aware of the steps and driveway; it was not a surprise.
The 2 young adults in our group slept a night on the hide-a-bed and extra long sofa; they reported being very comfortable. 3 bedrooms with queen beds upstairs, a full bathroom on each floor with great water pressure and temperature. Linens were fresh, soft and clean.
If you are considering this home, you will not be disappointed!

Andrew and Laurette were amazing. They truly thought of everything at their property. We were greeted with a welcome snack of chips and salsa. They had k cups and regular coffee for a carafe, if needed. I loved all the inspirational messages hung with such care and thought throughout the house. The home was perfect for our family gathering and everything we needed was provided. Will definitely be staying here again.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This house had EVERYTHING we needed! A mothers dream. From, stain remover for laundry, cotton balls and q-tips within easy reach to box fans in every room. Awesome VRBO!

The house was awesome! Everything we needed and then some. We could walk to the Dead River coffee shop in 10 min. Easy 10 min walk to the beach. 10 min drive to sugarloaf mtn, 5 min to MQT mtn. 10 min to black rocks. House had lots of space for a family of 4. Definitely would have been fine with 6. There’s a giant comfy sectional, another big couch, giant kitchen. Owners were great. Only thing, it’s an old house so you have some low doorways and stairways…I’m 6’5” and my head hit in a couple places.

My family had a wonderful time despite the rainy conditions. People were friendly, food/restaurants were great especially the whitefish. We ate at Iron Bay, Dunckers and Bolega. All very good. We went to Presque Isle and cliff jumping and Dead River Falls and NMU campus was very nice.
Our house was great for us especially playing games.
Thanks, Denise Z

The property was located in an excellent location to gain excess to the charming downtown businesses. The home was extremely clean and comfy. Would recommend to others while visiting Marquette MI.

We were very happy with our stay. The house is very comfortable with large rooms for gathering and good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the very large kitchen, which is where we spent most of our time, but there is also a very large family room for gathering also. A nice coffee station set up in the kitchen and we found it well stocked for cooking meals. It is an older home, but has been made into a charming vacation home. Well located for all there is to do in Marquette and the surrounding area. We would stay again.

The whole experience was enjoyable. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything needed and more. A/C and all appliances worked well. Upstairs washer & dryer was convenient. Lots of space to spread out or gather up.
Would love to come back some day.

We loved the charm of his place. Well stocked, you don’t need to bring any extras. Comfy beds. Good communication with host. Tons of space for us to spread out. Their are stairs as mentioned in description, but great railings, my 73 year old mother had no problem. We will definitely stay here again!

This older, refurbished home has unique personality and was comfy for the 2 nights we stayed while our daughter checked out NMU. We'd have no problem staying again.
