Another great stay !

Really comfortable stay in a beautiful house. Excellent hospitality and a superb and very generous breakfast. The owners also have a delicious Thai restaurant in Christchurch called the Ship which did absolutely delicious food. Excellent stay would totally recommend.

This is a lovely old house. Small pool and a hot tub. Huge gardens. Our room (Genius) was big. Comfy bed, lovely shower. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only down point was big thick duvet in summer and no alternative available.

We loved the rural area and the lovely ornamants and art work throughout the property. The kids had an amazing time with plenty of space for them to run around. The pool was small but perfect as easier to watch the kids.

We really liked Cedar House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is an older property which comes with its quirks (but that's also why we preferred it to the soulless hotel chains). The furnishings and paintings made it feel homely and warm. Staff were lovely, the breakfast was great and it was a pleasure to sit out in the garden for some peace and quiet. The pub, almost next door, serves good evening meals. It was also a great base for exploring the area - we had never heard of, but really liked, Hengistbury Head which is only a few miles away.

It’s all looking a bit tired , unfortunately the web photos are better than reality , which is a shame as it wouldn’t take much to bring the place up to standard. The room had a damp smell each day and the shower had black mould on the ceiling …
Overall the rooms and furnishings were very nice and as said wouldn’t take too much to raise the standard, with a bit of decoration and maintenance.

Lovely setting and the house has lovely grounds, the swimming pool and hot tub are great additions and we also discovered there was a sauna but we never got to try it. The owners are friendly and welcoming and our suite was comfortable and quaint.

Unique style lovely garden and small but nice pool. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Probably needs a bit of a touch up around the property but overall relaxing and quite.

Did not get the room i booked. They said it was already occupied.

The breakfast was excellent. Delicious fresh fruit, coffee and full English! Beautifully furnished house and lovely grounds. Friendly, helpful owners and staff. Thank you for a great stay.

Very quiet location. Half Moon Cabin is quite small but fine for a couple .
The bathroom looks good but trying to have a shower stood in a sloping bath was not easy . Maybe a large shower would have been more practical

There was no heating in the room/suitewhen we arrived so a member of staff found a small portable electric fan heater to use. On the last day all electricity to the room/suite failed.

Great building beautifully furnished. Nice bedroom in the classic style with balcony. Chris and his wife were very welcoming and breakfast was superb. Only drawback was shower as it had no power and was not secured to the wall properly. Location excellent and nearby pub restaurant Bull was excellent

Property and pavilion we stayed in are secluded and private. Although small the pool is very nice. Nice well kept garden areas. The hosts were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Full English breakfast is not to be missed.

Had a very pleasant stay. Bed very comfortable. Arm chairs in the sitting area were alright but could do with new cushion pads.
Lovely gardens with very welcome plunge pool.
Good selection at breakfast.
We were in a garden room which although very nice could have been even better with a small amount of TLC.
Hosts very pleasant and helpful.

This is an interesting B and B with lots of character set in plenty of grounds / garde The pool is a nice touch and breakfast arguably the best bit. Our suite was spacious, nicely furnished and with tea/coffee making facilities. I was a bit disappointed to observe that it looked tired in some areas and I felt it needed quite a bit of TLC and attention to detail on the environmental painting, decorating and maintenance front. For this reason I feel it was over priced and didn't meet my expectations. That said it is a beautiful place if you can see past this, which I did and I am sure you would do too.

Lovely hotel and really attentive staff. Breakfast was delicious. Pool and gardens were a big bonus. Balcony was nice too.
Just a few small things that need addressing. Some of the lights in our room needed replacing and some bulbs had been taken out and not replaced either. Also providing some slippers and dressing gowns would be a simple win.

Really enjoyable Stay.Highly recommend.Very handy and close for Christchurch.

Unique. Great rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens and truly excellent host! Also excellent pub next door.

For the cost I would have thought you might have had some biscuits in the room. The toilet paper was very thin & needed to be upgraded. The bed was very comfortable but the carpets needed a very good clean. The breakfast was great & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I don’t think I would revisit. I think you might get better value elsewhere

Really enjoyed our stay - the room which was in the gardens was lovely and the atmosphere was really relaxing - the breakfasts were great

The garden is huge, but there is so much potential to improve, & make it absolutely fantastic. Room was a big let-down. It was very shabby, and not so much chic - the patio door looked like it had been repurposed from somewhere else with cut-outs for the lock to make it fit, a large fig tree blocked most of the views of the garden.
The bathroom initially looked very smart, however, there was no heating in it, so wet towels stayed wet (apparently only changed every three days) the shower drain did not drain, & I had to use my foot as a plunger to get the water to drain, otherwise the shower tray would have overflowed. A water tank appeared to be sited above our bed, and during the night, it could be heard constantly dripping - not very relaxing at all.
Breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, but they lost our order sheets, and blamed us for not filling it in, although they had the second days order sheet? Think FAWLTY TOWERS, and you probably won't be too far off the mark. If you like that kind of accomodation, you will love it, otherwise stay away, it is way overpriced.

Exceptional breakfast!

Great B&B, lovely big garden, tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, all in all a great stay! The patio facilities could have been cleaner, and also our bed sheets had fly/bug marks, guess it’s not surprising as the B&B is next door to a farm. Loved waking up to cockerel sounds though!

Had a lovely stay. Great breakfast and large grounds which the kids loved to run around on. Bonus was the small pool and sauna. Close the New Forest and Christchurch for exploring those areas.

A lovely B&B although a little pricey. We paid £330 for 2 nights.! Some tidying up needed in some areas. The bed was so comfortable, not often you get that. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choices.
Our room overlooked the large garden and was peaceful and even had a dip in the swimming pool

Lovely quiet location, with beautiful garden’s, plenty of room to park, it was lovely to be able to sit out on the balcony from your room. Plenty of lovely places to visit, such as Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach and great shopping in Bournemouth town centre
