Lovely place to stay, and extremely welcoming staff! If work requires it i will definitely stay again!

Loved our stay at the Bath Arms Hotel. All the staff were friendly, the food excellent. Room was large with a huge bed. Little extra touches such as bottled water, biscuits, peanuts and jelly babies, were very welcome. Would definitely recommend staying here. Will use again if in the area.

The room we had was comfortable but so noisy. It was off the road but the car noise was very loud as the windows were old and don’t shut properly. (The hotel tells you they supply ear plugs). The next rooms bathroom was next to ours and there was no sound buffering, you could hear EVERYTHING.
The hotel staff were delightful and the food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent, shame we didn’t get much sleep!

Lovely large room. Fantastic service, friendly staff and lovely food. We had a lovely stay.

The staff went above and beyond. Everyone who works here have been fantastic. Couldn’t fault them. The food is also excellent. Had a lovely meal on arrival and breakfast was good also. Will definitely stay here again if we are in this area

Stayed at the Bath Arms Hotel while working in the area. Everything about the hotel was excellent, very comfortable room, friendly & very helpful staff and delicious food & drink.
Probably more suited to holiday makers than a business trip but still a lovely place to relax after a days work.

Spacious room, great breakfast, lovely staff, plenty of parking spaces, pricy bar, room window a little untidy

We booked this hotel on spec, Yes it’s a nice hotel, yes it’s in a lovely area, yes the rooms were great and the food excellent. However, what sets this hotel apart are the staff.
Without exception they were all delightful. We were made to feel welcome from the outset and in a short space of time felt like regulars. I would definitely go back again.

Fantastic team. Amazing food and service. Great value.

Lovely hotel. Food was excellent quality and the room was a good size. Bed was one of the best we have slept in at any hotel. Easy 10 minutes walk to the caves and restaurants.

Nice stay convenient to the airport. Nice staff

Great food, good service staff very friendly, room bit tired, but did distract from an excellent stay

Cannot recommend this highly enough- such lovely staff at check in, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Room was very clean and comfortable, bed and linen was lovely.
Food at the pub is superb. Love to find these gems when solo travelling with work, makes the week so much easier

Very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast and evening meal was lovely
4.8
A really great hotel with great service and food at both dinner and breakfast. Parking was easy. Room was very clean and spacious.
4.8
A cold bathroom with a high step into the shower. Quite a few cobwebs and cracked paint in the bedroom which is badly lit.
Great breakfast with very attentive staff.

No issues except our room was freezing cold in the mornings and the bathroom was like an ice box at times, but everything else was lovely

Cannot say enough about the Bath Arms. Welcomed immediately by Jack, who seemed to be bar staff at first but was a bit of Everything. Jack showed us to our room, gave drink recommendations, served us our meal in the dining room, and was extremely approachable and friendly at all times. I would give this place 6 stars if it was an option, purely based on that impeccable service!
The morning staff, especially Linda from Maine, were lovely and accommodating with our meal requirements.
The hotel location is great for exploring the Gorge and caves, and even served as a convenient base for our day trip down to Glastonbury. The room was massive and comfortable. My only regret was not making use of the gorgeous bathtub in our short time there.
Their website mentions noise might be an issue given location, but we stayed mid-week when it was mostly raining so were not disturbed even with the windows open. I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Had a lovely three days stay in a great location. Found the hotel to be really comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Food was amazing, especially the freshly cooked breakfast.

Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. What a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very clean. The decor simple but goes well with the setting. Everything from the toiletries and the complimentary snacks made our stay so special.
We really loved staying at this hotel.
The service is excellent. Staff so attentive and very helpful. Daniel, Maury, Hannah and lots of others which I forgot the names of were brilliant.
They really went the extra mile for us!
I would highly recommend and would stay here if I found myself in Cheddar again.
Our room was facing the road so a bit noisy during the day but not much they can do about it as it seems like a listed building. It got quiet during the night so we got a good night sleep.

The hotel was all we hoped for and so much more. The staff were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food was unbelievably good and a credit to all the kitchen staff. Breakfast was so good with super portions which were so tasty too. The best hotel we have stayed in for years. Great location also and value for money.
4.8
We had the most amazing experience, it was only a two night stay for the beginning of our honeymoon. I wish we had booked a longer stay, the hotel was small but perfect, so friendly, clean, well located and all staff members looked after us for our stay. The food was outstanding and I will give my biggest compliments to the chef. All in all the loveliest place we stayed for a long time.

Overnight stay on the way to Torquay. Visited the caves and walked up Jacobs Ladder. The Bath Arms was ideally placed for this, including free parking for guests.
The staff were fantastic, from our initial arrival, to our checkout. We ate our evening meals here, and couldn't fault any aspect of the evening. Breakfast was delicious, and we were served by the owner, who was very pleasant and full of handy hints and ideas about the local amenities. Our room was spotlessly clean, very modern, lovely comfy bed, we would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay, great location, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and overall just what we needed.
4.8
Great location and fantastic service from all the staff, the food in the restaurant is delicious as too is the breakfast.
It’s an old building with single glazing so earplugs are provided just in case.
My only suggestion would be to update the bathroom in our room (kingfisher) the shower valve is hit and miss and the floor is giving way on exit from the shower due to previous leaks.
However would I go back and the answer is a definite yes 🙌

Excellent stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean spacious room, fabulous breakfast included. We had dinner at the hotel which was also excellent if a little pricey. Great location for touring local tourist spots. One minor point - as an elderly couple, we would have liked a bath mat in the bath/shower as it was a little slippery. Strongly recommend the hotel for a one-night stay.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting cheddar gorge and the caves.
The staff were friendly and helpful, they make the place a great hotel to stay in.

Fantastic stay in Cheddar. Hotel staff were so friendly and efficient. Lovely little touches such as snacks in room and also bottle of water when we checked out. Very tasty breakfast. Great value

We loved the Bath Arms! Spacious room, wonderful bathroom, terrific view! Alice was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions.

Fantastic place, reasonably priced, a little bit out of the way in walking distance of everything. No complaints. Breakfast was incredible every morning and we couldn’t ask for more.
4.8
A great location. Great and attentive staff. Unfortunately we had mouldy bred for breakfast but they took three plates away and returned with fresh toast the staff fone well

This is a gem of a hotel. Rooms are clean and modern with super comfy bed and nice choice of snacks. Breakfast is epic…freshly cooked and lots of choice. We ate here 2 nights of our stay and the menu is great as is the food. Nice location about 5 mins walk from the village centre. Staff super friendly and happy to give recommendations on things to do.
