Superb effort - Room - Really good with every effort for the same you expect from a expensive hotel. Suitable plugs for USB Adapters. TV with all free view channels tune.
Bed sadly, it was soft and slightly wobbly, I am large person. The Noise from outside at 4am didn't help. Double glazing is required. Of course the elephant in the room there is a bar underneath, not noticeable until 10:30pm

Nothing it was fine.

The room we stayed in was really big and must have been decorated recently because it was much better than the rooms shown online.
The bed was a small double so it could have done with a bigger bed or two singles

location was perfect, they don’t offer a breakfast but a help your self cereal and toast option in the communal area plus there is a Wetherspoons opposite
no lift is the only thing I can point out but that’s just the nature of the building

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean
There was no reception to book into, had to stand in the middle of the bar area to get checked in, felt very uncomfortable. The booking did say it has a loud atmosphere especially on the weekends however we did not expect it to become a club until 4 in the morning. The bass was so loud the whole room shook. There was also a private party that night which would have been better if we knew about it before our arrival. That was also ridiculously loud. We did not sleep and had to get up at 6am. We were very tired. I asked the staff downstairs how long roughly the music would be playing and I was told 12am, but in fact it continued until 4am. They were also extremely rude and told me to pack my things and go somewhere else. To stop outsiders coming into the sleeping area there was a red rope. There was alot of commotion from the bouncers shouting at people stopping them from coming up. This could have been avoided if the door to the sleeping area was actually closed, instead it was kept open for anyone to walk up the stairs.

Location is great as close to train station and shops
Unfortunately our room was directly above the party so it was very noisy and difficult to get to sleep

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, there is a kitchen and lounge for communal use. We were told we could help ourselves to breakfast cereals, toast, milk and fruit juices and there were facilities for us to cook if we wished. Being based in the centre of town was ideal.

Friendly, helpful staff
Couldn't fault the place

The room was pleasant for one night. Bed was confortable and it was decently clean even though it could have been better.
I felt a bit misled by the listing as for me into thinking that the room would have microwave and fridge high doesn’t. Also got the impression that the room would have a more modern feeling and has car park (later on reading properly I realised that the small letter says that the parking is public nearby and not the hotel’s parking)

Location was good
The room was in dire need of refurbishment.bed was worst we had experienced ever. Springs were so raised we had to spread pillows over bed in order to be able to lay down. So uncomfortable didnt get to at all ! Mattress needs to be changed.
Wont stay here again.

The lady who showed us to the room was fab! She said was friendly and professional at all times.
When we went to the bar in the evening she always made an extra effort to bring our drinks to the table for us. All the staff were amazing from the bar to the door and I would defo come again!
My fob wouldn’t allow me access to the main door but that’s a technical issue and it happens
