Solicite dos camas y no me dieron, una cama de matrimonio de tamaño pequeño. Al llegar al hotel no funcionaba bien la aplicación de entrada con auto checa in a pesar de meter el número de identificación y el apellido, finalmente llamamos al teléfono que aparecía en la puerta y nos tuvieron que dar la clave de acceso a puerta puesto que la hab. Estaba pagada. La cortina rasgada y descolgada por lo que entraba la luz desde primerísima hora Mucho calor en habitación sin funcionar aire acondicionado El televisor no funcionaba, llamé al teléfono de contacto y su respuesta fue que nadie se había quejado a lo que yo respondí que antes de entregar una hab. se comprueban los servicios En el baño había a dos luces, la que estaba encima de espejo no funcionaba En el baño no había ni una mínima repisa para apoyar cosas de aseo.

disappointing and impersonal

fine for the price

there were no staff on the Sunday that we arrived. a very slow, difficult online check in process at the hotel. no staff either on the Monday. breakfast only from 9am - too late.

confusing

location was good

I booked this property for a group who paid ME to book their rooms. I gave my credit card info to the hotel and to booking.com. I asked them to bill MY card, not the client's. By the time they told me it was impossible, it was too late to cancel. The check in was very confusing for the group. They used automatic check in and arrived early. Bag storage was offered and then reception told them check in-time was 3:00 but they closed at 3:00 until 7:00pm!! They refused to give keys to the group leader, but then gave them to one of the group (NOT the group leader) after she left. The group leader had to chase down the entire group to pass on the keys. I do not appreciate them forcing my group leader to pay. I will not book here again. Ever.

Not returning to this Hostal

Day 1 welcome & check-in with Elissa assistance - very good, thankyou Elissa.

Day 2 - TV remote needed new batteries - not working. Reception at approx 2pm - told me I needed to come back at 7pm. Then mid afternoon NO hot water in shower - and still NO hot water at 5.00am when I left.

Clean.

No window that opened. 3rd floor room with dormer window that could not be reached to open. Laundry service is not worth it. Ruined clothes. Self check in is a test of patience. Reception shut between 3pm and 7pm.....major check in time and self check in is problematic.

Very good

The location of the hotel was excellent. We were walking the Camino and although the hotel is not on The Way, it was very easy to end our day there and then pick up our walk the next day. Very good for accessing the old city, which is a short walk away. We liked our room, the decor and our bathroom. All was new, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Really did not like the auto check in!!!! It was time consuming and overly bureaucratic. The reception was closed when we arrived at about 16:00 but opened again at 19:00. We had received messages with the code number to open the door, which was absolutely fine but then also had to scan passports and fill in forms on the check in machine which was very frustrating and held us up unnecessarily when we'd just walked 38 kms on the Camino and just wanted to get to our room. Why couldn't the passport info have waited till later when the staff were on reception? This was probably the worst arrival at a hotel we've ever experienced, which is a shame as the hotel room, location etc were really good. No contact with staff at all.

Would not recommend this place

The key card stopped working and there was no way to get into the building or my room. These rooms are above a bar and since it closes from 15:00-18:00 no one was available. Finally called an emergency number and was able to access the building and my room

my key card stopped working. it was not easy to find the correct telephone number, and when I called the staff knew that my card did not work - why didn’t they call or email me? it was sorted once I could speak to a person

clean, efficient place to stay, within nice walking distance to the center of Burgos

convenient and clean. small but very good accommodations. great staff

wish they had shipping for bags on the Camino. couldn’t arrange it, and ended up with a long hike with my pack. other than that, no complaints!

Staff tried to help

Not good for people on the Camino due to inflexible check in after 3. Also laundry must be dropped off before 3, which doesn't work for people there for a short time.
