Die Lage ist sehr schön.
Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig.
Kücheninventar ist brockenhausmässig zusammengewürfelt und schmutzig.
Einige Zimmer können nicht verdunkelt werden.

Nice antique house located on hilltop. Nice views
We visited in summer and The place was infested with flies and insects, so much so that it won’t allow you to sleep. The stovetop was not working. Owner was neither friendly or polite.

The location and outlook was superb. We booked it mainly because of the location and the barbeque social space outside which worked very well.
The house wasn't clean. A lot of the furniture and furnishings were very tatty. The cooker hob didn't work and the oven tray was filled with grease so it hadn't been cleaned properly. There were old scourers and used cleaning cloths. The stair carpets had two areas of bad staining.
The whole house needs desperately updating, especially the lower level bathroom which was, grim with awful lighting, chipped cupboards; it was dark, the loo seat was wonky and really well below standard. The shower water didn't drain away properly. The washing machine room was very dirty.
The sofa was torn and the Bernese Oberland flag outside too, torn and faded (What a disgrace and embarrassment for the Swiss people!)
The living room was in no way suitable for 12 people: more like 6-8 maximum. There were bad taste, awful ornaments and tatty plastic flowers.
It's three star accommodation, yes, but charged at five star prices! Poor value for money.
People should be warned about the flies in the house which we know is common in the mountains. But the owner should provide plug in fly and insect repellent in all the rooms. None were provided.
As we paid the City tax directly to the owner, via his worker, we should have been informed about the Guestcard which would have entitled us to tourist discounts. Nothing was mentioned.
Oh and yes, the City Tax was actually 3 CHF per person, per day (We checked with booking.com admin) It was NOT 4 CHF as quoted by the house owner!

The position is amazing, the house is well equipped with all that's necessary, the barbeque is great and there's even a ping pong table. The beds are comfortable. There is a really nice swimming pool shared between other residents. Although never seen, the host was fast in answering our questions by whatsapp. There is one parking place. The view from our room was simply stunning. In general, I feel this chalet is perfect for spring/summer, as you can really take advantage of the space outdoors.
The pillows were uncomfortable. Although the cost was modest, we had to pay on top for using the swimming pool and we were not aware of this. Also, there are many flies inside the house.

Budget option for bigger groups (10-12 people)
Quiet a small common area, house is charming, but some updates needed.

The home has, very great view, so many bedroom fit for large family of 10 members or group of friends. the kitchen had very things and furniture. the city is very close for 15 minutes to the home. the city colder than of in the summer since it is up to the mountain. make sure to have your own car
was not shared with us before that there is swimming pool very close to the home, which was for us less conforming when the guests are in the pool , be note that the pool are seperated from the home but very close.
the home clean was not high , we move some tables and under them was unclean ,
for Gulf Arabic guest and has older people the home has stairs , I booked the due to my mum can’t use the stairs

Nice location.
Basic cooking ingredients and coffee available.
Raclette stove available.
Everything is pretty run down. Could be cleaner in general. In my opinion not a good value for the price. No firewood available for the stove inside and outside the house. Toilet seat loose in one of the bathrooms.

Amazing place, the cottage was well equipped and clean. The check in was very easy the whole stay went smoothly. The pool was amazing :) Totally recommended

If you have a car, the location is good, close enough to the town to buy your stuff. A nice place to stay for relaxing and bonding with friends. We were 12 persons (6, adults, 3 teenagers and 2 small ones). The pool was perfect for the kids.
