We chose Holiday Inn Express due to location, free breakfast, and the very reasonable rates. Very pleased overall, especially with the hot breakfast and friendly breakfast attendant.

The toilet stopped working
4.1
Our room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was great!
4.1
Renovated hotel but does show a little wear. The tub was a little grimy but the shower head was nice. The tub was very slippery and could use some traction strips. Overall very comfortable, good WiFi. The breakfast staff were very kind and engaging. It's a quiet area and seemed safe.
4.1
Above average from what I would expect from this level of hotel. Clean, quiet, comfortable. They were excellent in all categories.
4.1
Nice room. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice.
4.1
My room was super clean and well equipped (no towel bar and no comfy chair) and very quiet. Seemed recently redone. Building had clear plumbing issues--public restroom on main floor was available but had no sink basin or TP rack! All water was turned off for a time Monday. Hot tub not working. Breakfast was very nice, and almost all staff super friendly--one a little brusque but maybe just tired.
4.1
Super convient location. Lots of meal options and Walmart nearby. Fridge and microwave in room.
Location is undergoing renovation--our bathroom had several areas of blue painters tape showing how recent-- however, housekeeping did good job cleaning otherwise.
Breakfast had good options.
Staff pleasant.
We brought our 3 kids, had 2 queen beds and one pull out sofa bed. No complaints from any of us.
Would stay again.

The room was very nice and clean!

If a hotel wants to be open while the place is under construction, then a nicely discounted rate should be applied to all guests. The elevators weren't even working. And I asked for a room with 2 queens and got a room with one king and a pull out bed - not the same.

I really like this hotel & have stayed here a few times. This trip I was charged $350 for one night & although the place is nice, it was a little too pricy for me. We will not be returning.

We spent a very uncomfortable night here on July. The lobby was under reconstruction, so we were inconvenienced and breakfast was very limited. We understand that these things need to be done and can adjust. That the staff did not advise others that they could use the elevator, even though they had to use the side door was very inconsiderate. People were dragging their suitcases up the stairs to the third floor! We were placed in a handicap room, which sounds lovely, BUT... The electric shade over the window only went UP, even when you pressed down! That meant the the light from right outside our third story window filled our room with light all night, when we strongly prefer to sleep in the dark. A very negative experience, not at all the quality we expect from Holiday Inn Express!
4.1
The hotel was in the middle of remodeling the entire place, so there was some disarray due to that. On the other hand, the room we stayed in was newly remodeled and was great. Everything was fresh and new! The free breakfast was very good.

Under restoration

Nice staff very helpful

It was good, but hotel was under renovation, so exercise room was closed. Staff were mostly friendly. Breakfast was cold. Probably due to renovations . Looks like it will be great should we stay again.

There was construction. That’s why i rated cleaniness low. Should have been told prior to check in and or offer a discount. No ice machine was working, the tv had a black 3 inch line down it. Breakfast was really good. Most of the stafff was helpful and friendly rooms big nice and clean.

Restaurant and stores close by

They were renovating while I was there, so there was a lot of noise and mess. Additionally, you couldn’t get from the lobby to the hotel rooms, you had to exit and enter a different door because of the renovation in process. Would have been nice to get a heads up on that considering the price I paid for a room.
4.1
This hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, unable to access the lobby to the elevators. Very inconvenient and would not have stayed there if I knew this in advance
4.1
It is going through remodeling so it was messy and loud at times.
4.1
Undergoing construction for over a year. Granola bars for breakfast. Cloudy water. The lowest toilet I've ever seen except in a preschool.
4.1
Hotel was in midst if renovations..our room was new and great. No breakfast/hot tub/gym really due to renovations. Was not informed of this situation by Expedia or the hotel.
4.1
It was nice but the pool was under construction and would have been nice to know ahead of time. The renovation are really nice

Booked a suite for our wedding both to use for getting ready, and to stay the night of our wedding. At no time during our booking did the staff inform us that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The pool and a large majority of the hotel was closed to guests. I was highly disappointed, as we had family with children in town for the wedding, and specifically asked me about a hotel with a pool. There was no coffee the first morning my inlaws stayed and breakfast was surved only at the front counter, with no seating.
On the day we checked in, the staff called about payment prior to our arrival, yet upon our arrival, Jessica the women at the front desk we extremly rude and unprofessional. They were unable to provide us with room keys. The only way they could check us into the room was if one of the staff personally escorted us to our room, but no one was available at that moment to do so. So standing there with my wedding dress in hand, inbetween our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner was terribly irritating!
Being understanding about the construction, it was still difficult for my fiancés elderly grandma to navigate the main floor with the uneven demolished flooring.
My bridesmaids where whistled at by the construction workers, and were made to feel very uncomfortable.
Sadly this was the worst experience, and even more unfortunate ir was our wedding.

There was very loud construction/renovation occurring within the hotel. The pool was closed, the fitness center closed, no continental breakfast - but this wasn’t something that I knew about when booking, but had to find out about after arriving. The price was charged for a hotel with amenities but there were no amenities. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and the front desk only had napkins for us to use.
4.1
This hotel opened newly renovated rooms before they were ready and in the mm iddle of a construction zone.
I had no hangers, a broken black-out shade, the Keurig spewed grounds all over the place and could not be used, no blow dryer, and an empty Body Wash dispenser. My room also didn't get cleaned on the second day. Construction noise all day so they had from free ear plugs at the desk - whoopee. Dining area under construction so they gave away bagged breakfast.
Overall the room was decorated nicely, but the bathroom remod wasn't done - no toe kick molding yet and loose escution on the tub. Also, whoever taped the ceiling seams did it badly as it's already falling down.

Might be better once the remodeling is over!
We were not informed about the remodeling and would not have paid so much for a hotel with no pool. It was also difficult getting in and out of the elevator with the rolling cart because the flooring was so bad. The room was “newly renovated” , ya… they need to finish caulking the shower and finish the trim. Very disappointing!

Teddy was great and very helpful.

Hotel was under construction. This should have been mentioned when booking but it wasn’t. One elevator was not working.
4.1
Room was not ready, late by an hour. Did receive an upgraded room. Breakfast was terrible. No juice was available. Had to wait for eggs and sausage. Noisy at night. People outside talking at 3 am.
4.1
Did not know that the hotel was under remodeling construction. The ice machine was only on the first floor only, and the noise level was not good. Not worth the $800 for the three night stay. The only amenities available was WiFi in our room & free hot breakfast. No pool, workout facility, or business facility.
4.1
No one told us they were working on renovating the property and that the pool was closed. So I appealed to get a reduction in rate and said that is the price that you paid for. I was under the impression though that the pool would be open and was not expecting them they were in the middle of a renovation job.
4.1
The room was great! Me and my guest were more than happy with it! It was quiet the whole night, no disturbances, and the staff was more than great, especially the woman who checked me in last night! She was very nice and helpful, and she deserves recognition for that. I have never been to a hotel that had such a caring staff and such a friendly staff!! Only grievance I have is that the pool was closed! I didn’t get any information ahead of time about it not being open which was very unfortunate!!! Other than that, we had a great night and will return again. Thank you!

Had a great stay!!

We picked this hotel because of the pool, and the pool was closed, of course.
4.1
When I arrived I was told I had 2 reservations: I said no, only 1.. there must be an error.the clerk said , OK , then charged me for 2. I was given 1 room and even though confirmed by the front clerk, They refuse to refund and accused me of taking the second room while clearly I was given and used 1 room only. The front seat manager was beyond rude. The hair dryer caught on fire, shooting flames at me, this was never replaced either. No ubs outlets in the room, very old microwave and tv….. biggest complaint is the $400 overcharge. So, I ended up paying $688 for 1 room
4.1
It's what you expect for price. Good bed avg size room. Clean. Tv was small and dark. Lot of deferred maintenance but didn't effect our stay. Breakfast was good.
4.1
The guy who checked us in was great! I think his name was Terry. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is getting updated, but it didn't really interfere with our stay. The road to get to the hotel was not labeled at all!!
4.1
Hotel is undergoing renovations.
Everything was great but I had no hot water in the morning.
